  • Hi Yigit,

thank you for your fast reply. Yes, that sounds plausible to us according to the notice that is being displayed in the text block. But what, if this message is being displayed although the characters < >[ ] are not being used (except the characters [ ] in Enfold shortcode like [av_font_icon ...] only)? How can we solve this problem?

    Thank you and best regards,
    Bkag

    Hi Yigit,

thank you for your reply. We tried that and so far it seems to work. Thank you so much for the hint.

But, what about the second point showing the error “It seems you are currently adding some HTML markup or other special characters …” in Enfold ALB text block?

    How can we solve that?

Thank you for your kind help in advance.

    Best regrds,

in reply to: Google Maps double-click solution #980743

    Hi Basilis,

thank you for the info. I think the Google Maps double-click solution is the basic regarding GDPR, because acc to GDPR there is no other way around it, except – of course – disabling Google Maps. The button itself is not sufficient and GDPR compliant without pointing to the privacy policy first and with a checkmark that the privacy policy has been read.

So, unfortunately, I had to disable Google Maps. However, thank you for all your efforts in this issue.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

thank you for all your efforts and your suggestions.

    @Guenni007
I think you are right when saying the best would be to have here a popup with a little checkmark that the privacy policy has been read.

This is an important element that should be implemented by every (German) website owner that uses Google Maps. Acc to my lawyer there is no other way around it, except – of course – disabling Google Maps.

I think you should ask Kriesi, because he as an Austrian may be affected by this regulation as well.

    What do you think?

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Hi Yigit,

thank you for your fast response. Unfortunately this code is doing nothing on my website. The window “Click to load Google Maps” is still showing up upon hover only, but it is not there by default when the website is loading. Hope you can help.

    Hi Ismael,

    Hi,

    thank you for the explanation.

Please find in private content box the correct login details, I created new user for you; they do work fine on my end.

In the backend the element for fullwidth slider and simple slider are showing up properly, but NOT on the fronted; Google Maps also not displaying in sidebar. Please note on the German website everything is working fine, but not on the English one. Also it is just for the menu item “Our business” and its submenu items (please find the corresponding links in the private content box as well.).

Not sure what happens if I update to 4.4, but I need to update to news version due to GDPR!

Thus your urgent help is really appreciated since the GDPR enter into force as from today and I need to implement all the Enfold GDPR elements today!

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards,

    Hi Yigit,

great, thank you. But still there are some issues: In the English menu item “Our business” and all its submenu items (please see full URL in private content box) the slider and Google maps in sidebar are not being displayed, but on German website they do.

Can you help and tell what is happening here? Also, how can I be sure that after update to Enfold 4.4 (thanks so much for it!) it will not happen again?

Really do appreciate all your help.

    Kind regards,

    Hey Ismael,

thank you for removing the number. Meanwhile I tried out wrapping the text inside a container with a custom css class attribute and your given Custom CSS. This works fine, thank you so much, but it looks somewhat weird using tablet in vertical view, e.g iPad Air. Any idea on this?

Thanks for your kind help in advance.

    Hey Ismael,

thank you for all your efforts and for adding the custom CSS. But, unfortunately, on my end the icons are still on the right, but they should show up on the left directly to the left of the phone number etc. (please see link for screenshot in private content).
Thank you for your kind assistance in advance.

    Hello Victoria,

on March 20th Ricard wrote “The .htaccess login is working, but not the WordPress details.” and now you write it is not working. I assume there is a basic problem on your side, since the details are working on this end without any problems. We are working on this since March 14th just to clarify the login. To come to an end please see screenshot in private content for your better overview (website is not online yet). Maybe this way we can solve this issue.

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Hey Andy,

thank you for your message. This is only a problem in your contact form, because on regular WP pages it is not a problem just holding the shift button and click enter for pushing the text to the next line – or alternatively – using break-tags. It is just in your autoresponder text field of your contact form. Please kindly check on your end and advise.

    Hi Andy,
the login details are working on several PCs without any problems, so please try again with the b/m details in private content. Seems problem must be on your end. Please note that there is a pre-login. If it’s still not working for you, please let me know what exactly the problem is. Thank you.

    Dear Rikard,
thanks for the message. Don’t know what went wrong on your side – I assume this occured when pace in copy, because for me the login details are working perfectly. So, I created new user for you; you will find the details (as well as the origin ones) in private content. Please try again.
