I found this on the forums:

@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {
.avia-caption { display: none; }}

But it did not seem to work.

Thanks for the quick response. That was embarrassing all fixed.

One more question:

I am trying to get rid of the boxed border on the footer and side bar menu.

I am using this bit of code but the border is still there.

background: none !important;
border: none !important;
}

Hey Peter,

Thanks for your reply! After much searching it turns out that my host, SiteGround is caching on their side and that needed to be turned off. It was on the server side, no plugins, not in WP. All better now.
