Hi Nikko, Thanks for that! I had already entered my billing accounts for another website, didn’t realize I had to do it separately for every website.
Hi, of course, here is the portfolio page. The project titles in te side bar and on top of the images needs a line break to force the text in brackets to the next line. Putting a <br> code in the title doesn’t work as the Advanced Layout Builder strips any HTML from the title. Can you help?

Hi Victoria,
Well, of course I can add a link to the latest portfolio entry, but then I will have to change that manually when a new entry is added. What would be the code for a link that automatically leads to whichever is the most recent entry?August 5, 2020 at 9:05 am in reply to: Hide date and/or time in blog posts and portfolio items #1235345I’m sorry, I didn’t realize you had to access it again so I put it back into maintenance mode. It’s accessible again now.

Just in case my client wants to hide both date and time in the portfolio, could you send me the appropriate CSS for that as well?
Hi Rikard,
You’ve solved my problem so the topic can be closed. Thanx!
Rikard, my hero!
As usual the perfect solution. This is why I use Enfold for most of my websites. You really give excellent support.Thanks for looking into it Nikko, and for pointing me in the right direction. I think though that it’s beyond my limited javascript abilities. I’ll try to find a more knowledgeable friend to help me.
Hi Nikko,
I was expecting you to say nothing can be changed in the Google API, but the fact you’re willing to look into it is hopeful. I’ve added the link in private content.As you’ll notice the six headings at the top of the page and all buttons have an animation going up as they enter the viewport. But the markers on the Google map halfway down the page have already animated on page load when you eventually scroll down to them. So they do not animate when they enter view. It would be fun to have that animation there as well.
Awesome! Thanks for looking into it Ismael.
Hi Ismael,
That’s what you all keep saying to me, but I’m sorry, the code is NOT on line 484, I’ve checked in several installs of Enfold that I’m running (latest version), and everywhere the code is in line 967 as I explained in my last post. Even so I have replaced the code with what you suggest but that has no effect. Even after updating this install to version 4.0.5.
Hi guys,
I’ve been on holiday so wasn’t able to respond to this topic for a while.
I have changed the class-framework-widgets.php file in the parent theme, but didn’t find the code on the 484th line. It was on line 967. I haven’t changed the class-framework-widgets.php file in any other way. I’ve also checked the class-framework-widgets.php file in another website where I’m also using the Enfold theme, which has never had the ‘No Future Posts’ plugin installed and there the code is also on line 967…
If I disable the ‘No Future Posts’ plugin all the entries in the portfolio and in the portfolio widget disappear as they all have future dates (I’m using it as a future event calendar).
This isn’t a critical issue, but it would be nice to be able to tell my client I got it to work. ;)
I’m sorry, I just told you that doesn’t work… Although I’m not sure what you’re referring to with ‘that’. Besides, Perfect Automatic Masonry DOES crop.
Let’s make it simpler. What if I wanted to use the Perfect Grid option with all the elements the same size. But I would want all images to be 1 : 1 ratio squares. Would that also be impossible?
Yes I have tried Perfect Automatic Masonry, but that has the same restrictions in size ratio (8 : 10) and moreover doesn’t allow me to use extra large images in the grid. The only way to get square images in my portfolio is to use Flexible masonry and make my uploads 1 : 1. But that doesn’t allow for double width images and has no option to place the title in an overlay like in Perfect Masonry.
It seems to me that there HAS to be a place in the code where the 8 : 10 ratio of the portfolio images is decided. So somehow you should be able to change it…
Hi Ismael,
I know thet exact pixel sizes are not possible in a responsive lay-out. I was just trying to explain what I meant bij square. Is it really impossible to change the ratio of the images? In the present portfolio it’s about 8 : 10. Is there no code where I can make that 1 : 1 ? I’ve seen ans used many masonry portfolios that have perfectly square tiles. It seems strange to me that such a versatile theme as Enfold wouldn’t have that possibility.
Thanks Andy, works perfectly!
Hey Yigit,
What I mean by perfectly square is that I’d like them to have the same height as width. So 715 x 715 px for the large items and 348 x 348 px for the small ones. The double wide items would then be 715 x 348 px. At the moment the large item is oblong @ 715 x 570 px. I’ve uploaded images that have equal hight and width, but they only show up square when I use flexible masonry.
Regards,
JanSorry Yigit,
Keep forgetting I’m in maintenance mode.Sorry Rikard, forgot I was in constructief mode. These are my details.
Hi Rikard,
Thanks, it is working now for the caption background. But I was referring to the little square that makes the ‘up arrow’ on the caption background (see jpeg I added). That still remains white now. I’ve added .avia-arrow to the code, but that doesn’t seem to work….av-masonry-item-with-image .av-inner-masonry-content .avia-arrow {
background:rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.7)!important;
}Sorry, I was looking in the wrong place. Just found the solution in al older topic.
.av-masonry-item-with-image .av-inner-masonry-content {
background:rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.5)!important;
}But now the small tilted square in the center top of the overlay (the ‘arrow’ pointing up) is really visible. Can I change it’s opacity and color as well, or remove it completely?
Thanks again,
JanHey Rikard,
Thanks a lot! That did the trick. I’ve checked and sure enough the only site that has the problem is running on PHP 7.1. After downgrading the Avia builder is fully functional again. Good call!Maybe it has something to do with the plugin ‘No Future Posts’ I’m using. it changes the post status from “future” to “publish” so that I can include future dates into the portfolio which I’m using as an event calendar.

Hey Ismael,
I gave it a try. The code wasn’t around line 484 though, but I found it in line 967. Changed it there, but it had no effect…
Regards,
JanHi Andy,
I think that works for a portfolio post gird, but it doesn’t seem to affect the WIDGET i’m using in the footer.
Thanks Rikard,
That did the trick!Regards,
JanDoesn’t do the trick I’m afraid. You can log in if you want to check it out.
Hi Rikard,
I’ve put a temporary button on this page next to the contact form to show you what I mean. But I’ve put the site in maintenance mode so I’ll need your IP to release access to it.
