Hi Rikard,
Feel free to close it!
Thanks again :)
AndyJuly 18, 2021 at 8:59 pm in reply to: Layer Slider Warning and admins unable to login to website #1310637Hi Rikard,
I have followed your instructions and all other websites have been updated to latest version of the theme :)
For anyone else reading this the theme would not update when the Enfold Theme was uploaded as a compressed .zip file and extracting/decompressed on my host server through Filezilla or the host file manager.
It worked when I followed Rikard’s instruction using filezilla to transfer all files and folders (select all – then drag and drop into new folder) from the latest version of Enfold (on your desktop) to this ‘new empty folder’ and rename as Rikard explains 2 responses above.
If some images, css etc. are still missing try disabling CSS and Javascript file compression located in Enfold / theme options / performance (click dropdown and disable both) The compressions settings are turned on by default when you update to the newest version of Enfold.
Thanks again lads :)

The problem with all the other sites is exactly the same as mine – See FTP and WordPress credentials below.
If I knew how you used the FTP and WordPress credentials to access the website and update the Enfold theme I would have a go at repairing/updating all the websites myself!

That is how the main menu, navigation page links, were intended to look :)In main menu there used to be field option to extend the slug/url for better SEO and the “show as” I think now called Navigation Label was the shortened link making it easier to fit more pages in the navigation.
I have added a token to my website and created 7 additional tokens However I still cannot access 5 client website’s that are live and do not know how you guys (Rikard) were able to update Enfold or accessed the /wp-admin page on my website?
I desperately need to access and update these websites that have the same issues mine did –
– Cannot access WP-admin page or dashboard
– Cannot update Enfold to latest versionAll the best,

July 13, 2021 at 1:00 am in reply to: Layer Slider Warning and admins unable to login to website #1309865Hi Rikard,
I think the reason it was acting funny is because Siteground hosting includes CSS and Javascript compression and as Enfold also includes compression as standard there is a conflict. After I switched off the compression option on the Enfold theme all the CSS styling I could see was still present in the Enfold Theme options suddenly appeared :) and the site is almost a 100%.
The only problem now is that my main navigation links include the attributes that the old theme main menu used to hide (see below for example) I’m hoping you can help me fix this problem? Do I simply change the page names to shorten the text main menu links?
I have at least 6 other websites with the same problem to fix so do I need to give you FTP credentials and WordPress admin access or can you share with me how you were able to:
Log in to the website?
Updated the Enfold theme?I will happily generate a Envato personal token for each site as I update them starting with my own once the main menu navigation links have been amended.

July 11, 2021 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Layer Slider Warning and admins unable to login to website #1309594See website username and password below.
However the wordpress (website.com/wp-admin) page cannot be reached to login and enter a username or password doh! When I ad the /wp-admin extension to my web address it returns 2 paragraphs of text :( so I don’t think an admin username and password can help – but we live in hope lol.
I’m also just thinking that if I can restore a backup that enables me access the WordPress admin dashboard perhaps updating the Enfold theme through the WordPress themes menu might solve the problem! What do you think?

I tried updating the Enfold theme through Siteground’s file manage but unfortunately I think the permissions need to be changed before the new install can begin doh.. Not sure where to begin with that! as I need to update several other websites with the new Enfold theme :( so I’m hoping the solution is not too complicated.
I did try simply deleting the old Enfold folder and replacing it with the latest version but this resulted in blank urls – so I used a backup to restore the website and can confirm I have several backups available!
I also tried uploading the theme through Filezilla but again the permissions I think prevented the install/overwrite of the outdated Enfold theme.
As requested I have attached FTP credentials so you can please come to my rescue and hopefully educate me on the process so I can update all other websites.

I followed the instructions in your response above and uploaded the latest version of Enfold however the problem persists :( as you can see from my company website listed privately below. The website is hosted with Siteground and I cleared the caches several times but no dice.I do have an enfold-child theme folder inside the themes folder but have made no changes to and enfold files whatsoever.
I cannot generate a personal token for my website because I still cannot access the WP admin dashboard :(
Help!!
Cheers,
Andyps. I never got a follow-up email notifying me of your response doh!
Hi Guys,
I’m having the same problem when I ‘Fetch as Google’ I get an error warning saying access denied!http://mywebsite.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/ (this link is denied by Google bots)
I am using Yoast SEO and have disables Avia Framework (via_framwork_post) from the sitemap does this have anything to do with the problem?
How do I fix this problem?
Is it an Enfold theme or a server problem?I have bought several Enfold themes and this is the first time that this problem has occurred.
Regards,
Andy -
