Hi Elliot, I found other posts on the forum from people with same problems and they said the solution was to updated the theme via Ftp instead of through the Admin area and that fixed it.
I wish I knew that a month ago.

Thanks Elliot, that has resolved it.
/*this is css for enfold menu*/
/* color of active menu item */
.header_color .main_menu ul:first-child > li.current-menu-item > a { background:#FFFFFF!important; color: #25aae1!important; }.current-menu-item .avia-menu-text {
color: #25aae1!important;

Thanks for your help.Hi Ismael,
spinning wheel relates to the loading wheel animation in the browser tab.
I now know my machine or browsers are not the issue.
My host claims it is not them.
Wordpress is up to date.
I have sent my websites off to a consultant to check before I update any more to Enfold 3.0.2 to see if he can get to the bottom of the problems.
Am still having issues with updating it, slow backend, hanging, freezing etc.
Will let you know what the guy I sent it to comes back with.
Best regards, Denis
Hi Ismael,
I searched (ctrl + f) the child theme style sheet and
.responsive .container {
max-width: 85%;
}is not there.
Quick CSS is empty.
That css is generated by the;
Theme Options
General Layout
Dimensions
Responsive Site – Ticked
Maximum Container width – 85%
Content | Sidebar Ratio – 75% | 25%
Content + Sidebar width – 100%The max container width is not supposed to effect content margins like it is doing.
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Yigit, that fixed the content margins issue but it only did so by making the container 100%
I don’t understand why the content margins and margins around the sidebar content were so wide when the container was at less than 100% but when made 100% the margins returned to normal ?Hi Yigit, the target=”_blank” I initially added to Enfold – Footer – Copyright has suddenly started working so no need for the code now.
Thank you for your help.
You may close this thread.Hi Ismael, the homepage I set up is a new page, I deleted the old one as it was beyond saving and the new one has been fine.
The last clue I have as to what is causing problems is that Chrome when a page loads has a spinning wheel in the tab, then blank page, if I click the X and the page loads.
I have deactivated all extensions but it still happens.
Am out of ideas at this stage!
Ps – am going to delete your test homepage for fear of confusion.

I added your code to the Functions.php file of my child theme and when I refreshed the page I got the White Screen of Death.
I FTP into the host, downloaded the file, removed the code, re-uploaded, site now working again.
Is there an error?
Thank You Ismael, you may close this thread.

You may close this thread.Hi Elliot,
whenever we make any changes to the site they take place but we don’t see them for hours, we have updated other sites on the same server and we see the changes immediately so we know it is just this website.
The caching plugin is deactivated and we cleared all browser cache but we know it is not our machines and browsers as if it was we would not see changes we are making to other websites.
I have the hosting company looking into it also but they can’t seem to find the issue.
Could it be a .htaccess issue or what server side would delay it serving the new pages?This reply has been marked as private.October 10, 2014 at 3:58 pm in reply to: Lightbox not working when w3 Total Cache Plugin Activated #333893Hi, Yes the W3 MInify settings were enabled.
I disabled them, tested again and lightbox still not working.That worked perfectly.
Thank you.

I have enabled W3 now so you can see the problem.Worked like a charm!
Thanks.
You may close this threadHi Yigit, I have looked and I spoke with my developer and we can’t find where that code is to remove it.
I didn’t add anything to the Custom CSS.
I just inserted the form in the Advanced Layout Editor and added the target Email address.
How do I remove the code?This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.When I next update the theme, will I lose the code I added to the Functions.php file?
