    Thanks Mike,

That worked perfectly. You can close the topic.

    Much appreciated,

    Kim

    That’s great Rikard, thanks!

Just tried that and it works perfectly.

Just the video and easy slider elements one now.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

We’re working on the site just now. We can leave ‘under construction’ off for the next couple of hours. If you have time to look now, could you take a look at centring the name and email fields under the comments box for us.

    Thank you,

    Kim

    Hi,

No thank you. No further help needed. You can close it. Thanks a lot for your help.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for your help, it’s much appreciated. We’ve cleared our browser cache and checked, and also checked on different browsers and different computers. It still seems to be a little temperamental but we’re happy to leave it as it is for now. We’re investigating different options with plugin providers.

    Thanks again,

    Kim

    Hi Mike,

Thanks. We checked the website with ‘under construction’ off and those fields were there as you said.

Just one more thing. We’d like to remove the website field but couldn’t find an option for that. Also we’d like to have the name and email fields centred under the comments box, ideally side by side. Could you provide some code for that?

    Thanks,

    Kim

    Hi Mike

OK, thanks. Good to know it’s not appearing warped on every browser.

With this CSS code the pin-it button has been removed from all of my images, not just the Instagram Feed ones. Is there a different code I could use to specify removing the pin-it button only from the Instagram Feed images?

    Thanks for all your help,

    Kim

    Hi Mike
I did try that a few times and it didn’t update, but opening a new browser I see it’s updated now.

Looks like this has taken the Pin-it button off all my images though, is there a way to specify only for the Instagram Feed images? I still want the button to appear when hovering over images in my blog posts etc.

Also, my Instagram Feed images are still appearing warped (although it doesn’t look like they are in your screenshot). I’m not sure how to add a screenshot to show you… My images appear fine initially for a second or so, then they switch to having a line across them where part of the image is repeated and it looks all messed up.

    How could I fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi Rikard

Thanks for your response. I’ve added this but it doesn’t seem to have changed anything. Could you take a look? The pin-it button still appears on the Instagram Feed images at the bottom of the home page, and the images are still warped.

    Thanks

    Hi

Thank you, I’ve amended the date format now.

How can I make it appear centered under the featured image blog post, and change the size to 14px and colour to light gray?

    Thanks

    Kim

in reply to: Modern Business Style Blog #906678

    Hi Ismael

OK, thank you, I figured out now that I can add this code into the parent theme in WordPress itself, hadn’t realised that before.

I’ve got the date appearing now but it’s in this format: 23/01/2018. Can it be changed to display like: Jan 23, 2018?
Also, I need it to be centered, and in a lighter color (light gray for example) and smaller than the title (14px for example). Can these changes be made? How can I do this?

    Thanks

    Hi Ismael

I’m pretty confused. Can you explain in more detail how I get this change active on my website?
From what I understand I need to make the change in the parent theme. I have added the code in the postslider.php file in notepad++ on my computer.

    What do I do now?

From what I understand I need to upload this file change to my server via FTP (I’m using Filezilla)? When I try to do this I only have the child theme on my server, not the parent. So, I don’t understand where to put the edited file? Can you please advise in detail?

    Thanks

    Hi Ismael

I’m not quite following, does this mean I can’t add the date to the post info because I’m using a child theme? And it’s not possible to do as you said using a child theme (unless using the workaround, which you don’t recommend?)?

Can I change it in the parent theme and it will display on my website? Do I still need to upload to the server using FTP after making the change in the parent theme? And if there’s an update I will just need to make the change to the parent theme again?

I’m a little confused about this all, if you can explain in detail that would be great.

    Thanks

Thanks Ismael, you’ve been a great help. Everything is sorted in this thread now.

    Thanks Ismael.

The image is now centered, however for the blog post images, and the Amazon image links in the blog post previously mentioned, the hover overlay (with the circle and arrow image) is still appearing on the left. For the Amazon links it appears over nothing, hovering over the previous position of the images. For the blog post image it is appearing half on/half off the featured image.

Is there a way to sort this, or just remove the hover link all together?

    Thanks

    Hi Ismael

Thanks for this. I’m using a child theme and I’m still pretty new to this. Do I need to copy the postslider.php from the parent theme into my child theme, make the changes, then upload into our child theme on our server via FTP? Can I copy only the postslider.php into the child theme, or do I need to add the whole config-templatebuilder folder?

    Thanks

    Hi Ismael

Thanks for this, that’s sorted the issue with those image links.

Now, I’m getting the same problem with blog posts that are centered (where I only have one post in the blog posts element). The title text remains centered, but the image jumps to the left (see ‘East Asia’ page if you need an example). How can I sort this?

    Thanks

in reply to: Image link aligning left when set to center #903609

    Hi Ismael

I’ve taken a look at the test page and it’s working fine, like all my other uploaded images. The issue I’m having is with the Amazon image links, like I said in the first post. It is only the Amazon clickable image links that are jumping to left alignment.

Could you take a look at my specific draft post (’10 essential Things to Pack For Travelling’) and see if there’s a bug or something? I’m following the same format for all of the image links, however 3 of them are aligned correctly in the center, and all the others appear in the center initially, then jump to left alignment.

    Thanks

    Hi Victoria

Thanks for the code, that’s worked great.

Can you please give me some code or such like for my specific date request? The other threads aren’t helping me I’m afraid. I don’t have any date appearing now, and I would like it to appear below the post title. I’d like it in the format: Jan 24, 2018. I’d like it centered, and in a lighter color and smaller font size than the title. Can you help me get this added?

    Thanks

    Kim

in reply to: Modern Business Style Blog #902693

    Hi Victoria,

Thanks for that, it’s looking good but I noticed this has also changed all other H3 text on my website. Is there a way to specify the changes only for the blog titles?

Do you have any answer for adding the date as above query?

    Thanks

    Kim

in reply to: Image link aligning left when set to center #902662

    Hi Ismael

I have tried what you suggested and it is still not working. The images are still jumping to the left upon preview. Can you take a look and let me know how to fix this?

    Thanks

    Hi Victoria

Thanks for your reply. That’s sorted the alignment and removed the category perfectly.

However, I’m not really getting anywhere with adding the date under the title. I would like it to appear in the format: Jan 24, 2018. I’d like it centered, and in a lighter color and smaller than the title.

Also, I’d like to change the title font size (smaller) and if possible not bold. How can I do this? I’ve tried numerous quick CSS options I’ve found in other threads but I’m not seeing any changes from any of them. I’ve tried purging my cache data, reloading the page multiple times etc but no change to size.

    Thanks

    Hi

Thanks for the reply. Can you explain where exactly to put these? Do I add
<span class=”aligncenter”>MY AMAZON HTML LINK</span> to the text section in the text block/ the code block?

    Where do I add .aligncenter { text-align: center; } ?

    Thanks

    Kim
