hi Ismael,
I had widget logic and already tried to do what you suggest but it doesn’t work.
If I do this, the widgets just disappear from the sidebar and are not added to the category page sidebar.
Pleae, read the private reply above where you can find the links, it should be easier to get what I mean.Ok, I solved the excperts problem installing the Advanced Excpert plugin.
But I still can’t figure out how to set a specific sidebar to the Category page (which is showing the default sidebar blog).
Thanks.Forgive me if I insist, but I really need your help.
This reply has been marked as private. No, I guess I wasn’t so clear.
I created my post categories and my posts but I’d like to edit the category pages, these ones: http://kriesi.at/themedemo/?theme=enfold-overview
I’d like to have posts excperts and not full posts.
Plus, I can’t understand how to set a specific sidebar to the category pageHi Yigit,
I’m using Quick Css under General Styling.Me using Chrome as well.
I saw and wrote to them twice, no reply yet!
Oh sorry,
mark it as resolved.
Thanks for your excellent support.Hi Yigit, the website is not online yet… just working on it. Don’t worry, I’m doing something else.
Yes, you’re right…
Btw, I tried the code suggested by Gunter but it didn’t work: my portfolio grid still has links.Hi, I’m trying to change things around… How do I know posts/pages ID’s?
I make it in another way: just ovewriting portfolio link setting and linking portfolio item to a # url.
What do you think? It seems to work. Thanks a lot.
I try!Got it.
What should I do if I want it to be applied only to that specific portfolio grid?Hi Günter, thanks for your reply. Let me understand better:
1) does you code apply to all my portfolio grids?
2) How am I supposed to set function.php file since I’m using a child-theme?
Anybody out there?
Oh ok, I see. The fact is that Firefox seems to make it in the right way.
Thanks a lot.Ok, I’ll try. Btw, why does it happen? It should be the same on every browser, shouldn’t it?
Better, but on Firefox the pictures are still bigger (which is better).
This reply has been marked as private.Actually, I experienced problems with W£TC too (that’s why I opted it out and tried with Super Cache). Maybe there’s some conflict with other plugins (I suspect with All in One WP Security).
Hi Devin,
I actually did it before deactivating it, but nothing happened. I fixed it only eliminating it.
On GtMetrix the benefit of WP Super Cache was only 1%, so I prefer not to have it rather than get issues. -
