I had widget logic and already tried to do what you suggest but it doesn’t work.
If I do this, the widgets just disappear from the sidebar and are not added to the category page sidebar.
Pleae, read the private reply above where you can find the links, it should be easier to get what I mean.Ok, I solved the excperts problem installing the Advanced Excpert plugin.
But I still can’t figure out how to set a specific sidebar to the Category page (which is showing the default sidebar blog).

Btw, I tried the code suggested by Gunter but it didn’t work: my portfolio grid still has links.I make it in another way: just ovewriting portfolio link setting and linking portfolio item to a # url.

Actually, I experienced problems with W£TC too (that’s why I opted it out and tried with Super Cache). Maybe there’s some conflict with other plugins (I suspect with All in One WP Security).
