Hi, can you tell me in which file the error is located?

I hired a freelancer to do that..

    Best,

    Hi Victoria,

yes I actually got a customer complaining, saying that he can’t pay with credit card and that on the checkout page it always says “Please enter your card details to make a payment. Developers: Please make sure that you are including jQuery and there are no JavaScript errors on the page.”

I searched a little bit and found this link https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/stripe/
so I think the error on the checkout page is related to the JS error. I know that the checkout page is managed by WooCommerce but nevertheless it runs on the Enfold theme. Could you maybe help me on how to get rid of the error? Or maybe just have an idea what to do? I am not a developer so I’m thankful for every bit of help!

    Kind regards,

    Giacomo

    Hi both,

thank you TJ! The solution TJ suggested worked but I didn’t manage to align it in the middle on all devices. But no worries, I decided to to it without an arrow and instead change the image height so that it’s clear that the website is scrollable.

What is the JavaScript error about and how can it be solved?

    Thanks,

    Giaco

in reply to: Problem in URL after scroll down arrow #848142

Thank you very much, that worked. Now I just need to find out how to align it in the middle and make it responsive for all devices, but I’ll figure that out.

    Thanks again!

    Hey,

actually I’m not sure if it is a ‘full screen slider’.. in German it is called ‘Slide-Show (volle Breite)’ which would maybe translate to ‘Slide-Show (full width)’. But there is no option to add a scroll down arrow.

So adding a PNG under the button is not possible?

    Best,

    Giacomo

Yeah that would be best but how do I add the png on the full screen slider? Haven’t figured that out yet.

    Thank you

    Hi,

what about not making the down arrow ‘clickable’? I just want people to see that they can scroll down. Doesn’t have to scroll down to the next section automatically when clicking. The down arrow should just be there (would even prefer it not moving up and down).

    Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks. But do I have to add an ID to the color section? Can’t I just have it still be https://edley.de ?

    Thanks again!

in reply to: Down arrow #847838

    Hey Mike,

that works fine, thank you very much!

    Giacomo

in reply to: Down arrow #847722

    Hi Mike,

thanks for your response. Already tried using the full screen slider, that however changed the image format in a weird way.
Is it then possible to at least have a very small color section (maybe 1px) and no borders?

    Best,

    Giacomo

in reply to: Down arrow #847711

    Hey Mike,

thanks the arrow works. Only thing is that I know have a color section below, how can I hide that?

    Best,

    Giacomo

    Hi Basilis,

yes I have checked this and also this post here, which I think is the same way of solving the problem:
    _____________
    Hi.

This topic is one year old but today I was also looking for a solution for that problem.
    Here is my solution:

    1) Change the min-height of a section to a small number (e.g. 20px). I did it in the custom.css.
    .avia-section {min-height: 20px;}

    2) Add a color-section after the slider
    no min-height
    no padding
    no border
    with scroll down arrow

The arrow is diplayed in the slider ;-)
    __________
I get the second step, however I don’t know how to “Change the min-height of a section to a small number in custom.css.” Could you explain that further?

    Thanks,

    Giaco

    Hi Victoria,

I don’t think I did.. just made some changes in the Quick CSS but nothing regarding the Slide-Show.

    Hi Victoria,

thank you very much. Unfortunately that didn’t really help since the thread you posted is about a different problem:
He talks about a down scroll arrow but his problem is that the arrow doesn’t work properly. My problem is that I can’t even find a way to make an arrow show on the slideshow.
Hope you see what I mean. Thanks again.

    Best,

    Seems to work now, thanks!

in reply to: Change Social Icons #803066

    Hi Yigit,

yes all icons are displayed now, that works.

However, I would like to have NO color hover effect. I just want the icon to change from grey to black when hovered.

Scroll down at https://edley.de until the header is white and then hover over the Snapchat Icon, you’ll see what I mean.

I want that grey to black hover effect with every social icon if that’s possible.

    Thanks

in reply to: Change Social Icons #802085

    Yes I just re-uploaded it

in reply to: Change Social Icons #802074

    Hey Sarah,

thank you. The Snapchat icon works, the Instagram one does not. It just displays nothing where the icon should be. Would be great if we could find the problem.
Second concern: If you hover over the icons, most of them have a colored circle that is displayed (Facebook blue, Pinterest red, etc.).
However, if you hover over the Snapchat Icon is does not have that effect, it just changes from grey to black (just when you scroll down and the header is white). I like that. How can I get that grey to black hover without the colored circles for all social icons too?

    Best regards,

    Giaco

    Hey John,

I’ve read it now, these are exactly the steps I already did. Doesn’t work.

That did not work, but I found a work around by just copying the text in the product short description and adjusting size and color accordingly. In case anyone has the same issue.

in reply to: Change vat credit note on product page #800785

Yes, but where should I put the code? Just at the bottom in the functions.php?
    Because that did not work…

    Thanks

in reply to: Change vat credit note on product page #800751

    Hi,

    1. worked :)

    2. at which position in the functions.php?

    Thank you!

    Hi, yes of course.

in reply to: Change Thumbnail layout #788959

    Works perfectly, thanks! :-)

in reply to: Change Thumbnail layout #788827

    Hey Jordan,

are you sure I need to pay for a custom modification for this? It’s literally just resizing the thumbnails to 50% and showing 1 instead of 2 rows.. Similar requests (even more complex ones) have been answered and solved in this support forum.

    Thank you

in reply to: Change Button text #781991

    Okay thanks,

that’s what I did. Unfortunately he doesn’t answer, thats why I asked here. But thank you anyway.

    Best regards,

in reply to: Change Button text #781969

    Hey Mike,

No it is not only for that page. Every product where I select ‘out of stock’ (http://i.imgur.com/5CZqRMd.png) has that button on its page. And I want every out of stock product to show the Botton text ‘In den Warenkorb’ instead of ‘Kurs reservieren’, not just that specific one.
If that helps you: The freelancer worked with an edit form which pops up when clicking the button, but that is the only thing I know.

    Thanks!

in reply to: Font changes when logged out #775064

    That works, thank you!
