thank you. I tried it, but all it did was to add some height in the top bar.
Please look at the examples on this page: http://coachingsitesthatwork.com/coaching-websites/. I want to have someone’s photo up above the top bar and main content areas. It could be that those photos are the actual background for the site so I would want move everything down so that could show. Is this possible?
thank you
I’ve figured it out. thanks
that didn’t seem to work; thank you

My Google Map works, but you can’t click through to get Google directions. Is it supposed to do that, or should I embed the map from Google, instead, if I want that?

garysorry, I’m a moving target because I need to get this done
I figured it out: http://relationships-at-work.com/ BUT, why is the width of the main content area so narrow now? It was fine before.
I tried this. what is wrong with this or is there a better way?
html.html_boxed {
. background: url(“http://relationships-at-work.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/symphony.png”) repeat;
background-repeat: repeat;}
Yigit, thank you. I saw that, but how about for the background of the whole site behind the main content area..so behind the header and footer, too.

January 22, 2015 at 5:15 pm in reply to: how to make background of main page content transparent or almost transparent? #383780thanks. the last php we tried knocked out the whole site. I was copying and pasting and might have not got it all. I know how to fix it, but the client won’t respond with his ftp and/or hosting account information for me to get in there. I can’t fix it until then.

January 15, 2015 at 2:17 am in reply to: how to make background of main page content transparent or almost transparent? #379835what is a codeblock element? do you just mean add some CSS per page? and then enter it in for that page, or?

garythanks!
Elliott, that’s too easy! Is there a preferred or best size to take up the whole space?
Related, how can I make the header taller? I would make the background image the same height, of course.
cheers
