TiaAugust 4, 2022 at 10:44 am in reply to: characters appearing on the front end where code blocks are #1360595Hi Nikko
I have tried to add my first script and style (for the image pop-up) to the child theme by following the instructions to put the custom script in the footer but it doesn’t work.
I have left the button pop-up script and style in the page code blocks and that is still fine.Sorry about this and thanks for your help.

Thank you for looking into the issues.
I deactivated the caching plugins and was then able to see the Description tab, so that part is resolved, thanks.
I am not seeing the 401 or 409 errors. I suspect I was making some changes at the time which may have caused the errors (but I’m not sure).
Could you please look again and let me know if you see the errors again? I will stop any changes until I hear from you. Thanks
TiaHi Rikard
Thanks for that. It seems to be okay now. I think it was a caching issue.

TiaHi Rikard
I deactivated all plugins one by one, refreshing cache each time, but I seem to be getting different results on different pages – map is showing on mobile on some pages and not others. See private content.
As far as I can see the layout of both pages is the same. I have re-saved the map module and page just to ensure.
However, I do notice that an element that I disabled is still showing on the mobile page even though I cleared the cache in Safari. The element does not show on desktop? Can you suggest how I can force a cache refresh on mobile other than the normal cache refresh in settings>safari.Any help would be appreciated because I can’t leave the site with all these plugins disabled for very long.
Many thanks
TiaHi Rikard
Sorry for the delay in replying.
I think I will close this for the time being, I will reopen it again if the customer still wants the change, but he’s decided it’s fine for now.Thank you for your help.
Kind regards

Hi Mike
Thank you for your response. I tried that but I am getting a 404 error – I used the sample link code you gave on the 1st team member image. I know I will have to change the content of the pop-up but I just wanted to get it to work first.I’m doing the link wrong?
Thanks for your help.
TiaHi Rikard
Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes, I moved my site from its development subdomain to the main domain. It is now live, Yay!
I include the new access info in Private Data.
Thanks again
TiaHi Rikard
Thanks for that. It works great on the Shop page but the problem with the Product Page still remains where the Sold Out text is very weak/basic. How can this be styled to make it stand out more please?
Kind regards
TiaFebruary 22, 2021 at 1:41 am in reply to: Woocommerce – how to add another information tab beside the description tab #1282692Hi Jordan
I found a plugin called ‘Product Tabs Manager for WooCommerce’ by BeRocket that works great to add any sort of custom tabs to Products.

I added the ‘Add a custom tab’ code to the ‘quick css’ of my child theme, but I don’t see any change? Should I see an option for a custom tab in the product page?
Thanks
Tia
Thanks for that Yigit, I really appreciate it.

TiaHi
Did you get a chance to look at my issue?
Thanks
TiaHi Victoria
I attach a mock up in the private data.
Essentially, a little better spacing between the 4 icons in column 1
and also aligning the top of the content of the 3 columns to one another. Many thanks

Hi Victoria
That didn’t work and I would rather not add to the theme files as I am not using a child theme.I tried a different approach by just adding the 4 icons in a horizontal line in the first footer column. This looks fine but I would like to add a little spacing between each icon and also align the content of the 3 footer columns better. Can you suggest what html I can add to each widget to align them to the top (evenly). I tried some divs and css but it ended up changing the width of page layouts elsewhere – so I rolled back.
Thanks for your help, I’m nearly there!
Regards
Tia
oh, when I said it worked, I meant the thread could be closed.
sorry about that.
Thanks Rikard
Hi Victoria
I’ve done that now.
I think part of the problem is that the email icon is not the same type as the others (from the same source) so behaves differently.Usually, I can find what I want at fontello or someplace like that but I can’t really see where the twitter, youtube and LinkedIn are coming from (in this code I got from another thread). This makes me think that I should take a different approach.
I will await your advice.
Many thanks
TiaThank you Victoria.
Thanks Rikard.
That worked! …. and then the client decided they didn’t want the button there after all.
