November 15, 2014 at 2:08 am in reply to: Page load time, remove query strings from static resources & defer parsing of js #351655
Hello Team,
I have solved the problem by activating my cache plugin
Best regards,
George
Hello josue,
Yes, I should have done that first. When I deactivate the plugins it does disappear, I will find the issue and contact the developer of the plugin.
Some recommendations from GTmetrics did show up though about deferred parsing of js files could allow the page to load faster. I will open a new request with that issue.
Thanks for your helpBest regards,
George

I placed the css in along with the existing css and it did not make a change. I then removed all the quick css and tried the css you sent by itself and it did not change. I have put the original quick css back in and left your css in as well, hoping it will help you see a different selection of css that will reveal the logo for a transparent header.Best regards – George
Hi Guys,
I figured it out. I should not be using posts for the effect I want, I find what I’m looking for when I create a portfolio.
As usual, Thanks for the great support.
George
Thanks Yigit,
Yes, that is exactly what I used, the magic wand menu and I looked for the masonry gallery short code and did not see it.
I looked in content elements, layout elements and media elements.
I’m wondering what to do.Thanks,
George
Solved the problem with the image not opening in the light box. The CDN image was being delivered, once I deactivated the CDN the lightbox worked fine.
I still have not found a way to insert a masonry gallery into a post. It is not listed in the drop down menu on the new post, I see many other options but not the masonry gallery option. Thanks,
George
Thanks Josue,
Regards, George

Thank you, it worked perfectly.

March 17, 2014 at 3:00 am in reply to: Stretch to Fit for Color Section Video Mobile Screen Fall Back #238453Hi Devin —
That was it! I placed a background image in the color section along with the movie link and all is good. It looks like I misunderstood the instructions. I placed the image in the styles/image background in the alternate styles tab and then assigned the color section to alternate.
By placing the background image in the color section directly then using the main styles, everything works well across all devices.
Thanks for helping me out with this Devin.Best — George
March 12, 2014 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Stretch to Fit for Color Section Video Mobile Screen Fall Back #236532Awe — that’s interesting, i just refreshed my iPhone and iPad to check again and at this link
http://oceanportalproject.orgThe fall back background image does not stretch to fit. I’m wondering if I’m setting it up correctly.
I set it up in theme options/styling/alternate content/custom background image —
At the moment I have the background set to no-repeat, when I do allow it to repeat, it doesn’t look very clean or good in this case.
That would be great if Krisei can add a stitch to fit feature in the drop down menu for the custom background image in the styles area, just like it is for the color section controls.Best regards,
George

March 8, 2014 at 4:39 am in reply to: Color Section Background Video Warning get_file_contents #234085Ismael –
That’s great news and I like Kriesi’s thinking that is exactly what I was thinking would be a nice solution.
enfold is my favorite theme and I really like the ability to use full screen movies.
Do you have any thoughts on how to take care of the warning I am gettingWarning: file_get_contents() [function.file-get-contents]: http:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0 in /nfs/c10/h02/mnt/176353/domains/oceanportalproject.org/html/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php on line 576

George
March 6, 2014 at 8:26 am in reply to: Color Section Background Video Warning get_file_contents #233092One more thing, I’m using enfold 2.5.4 with WP 3.8.1
March 6, 2014 at 7:54 am in reply to: Color Section Background Video Warning get_file_contents #233086Also it is not loading on iPhone 5C — ios7 — just black with spinning circle —

February 18, 2014 at 7:49 pm in reply to: Background Video Option Not Available in Color Section 2.5 #225676Thanks Devin, that did it! For some reason after the movie started, it stopped. I suspect my server provider or maybe it is a youtube thing. I will be looking into hosting my own html5 movies in the near future.
Best regards — George
February 18, 2014 at 7:40 am in reply to: Background Video Option Not Available in Color Section 2.5 #225359Hi Guys,

February 18, 2014 at 7:27 am in reply to: Background Video Option Not Available in Color Section 2.5 #225356Thanks Devin, That’s what I did. but upon looking at my version text file, I discovered this:
2013 XXX – Version 2.5
– includes/admin/register-admin-options.php – added import/export interface for theme options, add option for blog single page layout– folder framework:
– added: import/export function for theme settingsWhich would not be the Feb 14th release. I see the options now, I’m going forward with a test —
Cheers,
George
Beautiful —
Thanks Ismael
George
Ok — This is interesting — I started to set up the settings in the theme control panels — when I deactivate the search icon in the header, the slide show stopped working
http://deanandjojostory.net.s176353.gridserver.com
I reactivated it and the slide show started to work again.I’ve got to run now — but when I get back, I will do some more testing.
Cheers,
George
Ba Boom! That did it Devin — I did the delete app in the MT control panel then did a fresh WP install, same for enfold — Back in biz.
Thanks for the support —George
Hi Devin,
That’s a great idea! I just overwrote the js folder with a ftp upload and then made a new page
http://deanandjojostory.net.s176353.gridserver.com/js-test-fullscreen-browser/
Same results,
I’m thinking maybe a file could be corrupted on my WP 3.7.1 install — I’m thinking that I will delete enfold and reinstall wp 3.7.1 then reinstall enfold, is that over kill — what do you suggest —
btw — thanks for the great video’s you make —Cheers,
George
Hi Yigit,
I updated to 2.4.2 from 2.4.1 and I cleared cache, still the same errors message in the console.
Here is the page:
http://deanandjojostory.net.s176353.gridserver.com
Thanks in advance,George
I figured it out, I just resized my image and reloaded it. I thought there might be an auto resize for images.
Best — George
Yigit,
Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Jetpack the plugin was the culprit, once I deactivated it, everything is working again.
Best — George
I spent some time with the menu and figured it out — Looking good — Thanks
October 27, 2013 at 12:26 am in reply to: Full Width Masonry – Display Title – Mouse Over – iPhone – iPad #181107Hi edebe — Thank you for your thoughts — I have decided that the title and description showing on mobile is not so bad. The enfold theme has made my life so much easier, that I can not complain about the little details and I’m sure they have many things to work on.
Cheers,
George
