November 29, 2019 at 7:00 pm in reply to: LayerSlider Not Showing Up, Advanced Layout Editor Gone, Default Editor Not Work #1161317
OK, so I fixed everything except for the slider disappearing. The other issues had to do with a conflict with a plugin we don’t need. I was also able to get the slider to start working again when I disabled our Series Engine plugin, but this is one we really need on our site. So, I looked up the front-page of our site using Chrome developer and found this error:
seriesenginefrontend275.js?ver=5.2.4:1172 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(…).mediaelementplayer is not a function
at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> (seriesenginefrontend275.js?ver=5.2.4:1172)
at i (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at Object.fireWith [as resolveWith] (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at Function.ready (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)
at HTMLDocument.J (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4-wp:2)I then sent this to the people at Series Engine. I heard back from Series Engine and they said the conflict was with Enfold. Here is what they wrote:
The issue is actually with the theme, not with Layer Slider. There’s a theme setting that turns off media and javascript libraries on certain pages, and that’s what’s causing this JavaScript to fail. Turn that toggle off in your theme settings where those libraries are loaded correctly, and you’ll be good to go.
I have looked everywhere within Enfold to try and find this, but cannot. Any ideas?
Hi, we have purchased a new version of Enfold and are trying to install the theme through WP and are getting the same error message. Thanks for your help!

April 25, 2016 at 5:59 pm in reply to: Accordion and Sendpress Plugins not working since WP Update #621554Hi There! See the links below. It’s the accordion drop down boxes, when we click on them they won’t open. I’ve deleted the cache and deactivated and re-activated the plugins already… I kind of submitted this as a last effort to figure it out :/
Is there anyone who can help me with this issue? I have updated to 3.2.3, I have contacted our hosting provider and they can’t fix anything. I can’t work on anything because our site is so slow. When I changed themes everything was super fast but the minute I changed it back to enfold it got slow again.
I just updated the theme. The homepage is still taking 1-2 mins to load. I’m also still seeing issues with our gravity forms plugin and our send press plugin.

It looks like there is a conflict with our gravity forms plugin. I am also seeing conflicts with our send press plugin since the last theme update. We are also now experiencing issues with our site and cloudflare and extremely slow loading/refresh times on our site. This all started after the theme update. We also can’t update through the wp dashboard, for some reason theme updates don’t show up on there. I have to update through FTP every time. Is there a reason that the updates wouldn’t show up on the wp dashboard?
I have contacted our hosting provider and they think it’s a plugin conflict of some sort. I would really appreciate any help.
Okay, it’s not uploading any of the folders…only the php and css files…I can’t upload the complete files to our FTP for you. Is there not an email address I can send the zipped file to for you? I promise I won’t use it in the future, I just can’t figure out why this isnt uploading to our FTP…
It’s uploading now to the file “_” it has a folder in it called Kresi, and then enfold. I had to select all the files and drop them into the enfold folder, for some reason it wouldn’t show up when I dropped in the Enfold folder from the download…

This reply has been marked as private.Hi Ismael,
We have tried that, the problem that way is that our site doesn’t show that there is an update available even if I reenter the API key etc. So we can’t update through that…

Okay, I go into our FTP, I go to WP content, Themes and I drop in the new Enfold Folder Unziped, I checked the version it’s 2.9.2, but it’s not updating on our site instantly like it does on the video demo….I don’t know what else I can do…
The only thing I can think of is that when I drop it in our FTP has a pop up that reads “This is a partial 401” I don’t know what that means…
I am literally following the video step by step…
I am now also not able to update any of our installed plugins.
Okay,
I updated our theme through our FTP, and it’s still not allowing me to edit anything with our advanced layout editor and we are unable to edit permalinks. I have disabled our cloudflare plugins and our WP edit pro plugins to see if those were the issues and I still cannot edit in the advanced editor setting….Is there anyone who can look into this for me?

In our enfold theme options it says there are no theme updates…
And the plugin is compatible with WP 3.9- This reply was modified 10 years, 6 months ago by Gashland Evangelical Presbyterian Church.
I had icons in our fonts area, and now they are gone, when you upload new icons in zip files do they take the place of the icons that are already uploaded?
