    Thanks for the information. I don’t believe that the font has any thing to do with it. I do believe there is some inherent limitation with your theme. I have several servers with different server companies. I decided to do a text on one of my other sites that uses Enfold on a different server and company. This other site is on a server with only 10 other accounts, and the site itself is just a single landing page, yet uses the same amount of resources as the one we have been having the issue with. Same results. I can add about 24 or 25 rows, but once I go above that, it spins and times out. The only difference is that instead of going to a 404 page, it actually spins for a much longer time, then times out after several minutes.

    Since it seems I am out of ideas here, I am just going to try a gallery plugin and see if that works for us. Thanks for your time on this. Hopefully you will note this issue for the next theme update you do.

    This is the end of my error log. The last errors were in March with debugging on in wp-config. It doesn’t really seem random to me with my many tests. Its pretty specific. When I revert the page back, I can save it one time, but then when I make any changes and try to save it, it takes a long time, then goes to a 404 page and when I go back to the page the code is all broken and I have to start over. It seems to be something specific to when the page builder is active because if you remember, I was having this issue with only about half of the 99 grid items there. I was only able to cheat it by grabbing the page builder code itself and duplicating and edit the code, not using the visual builder. I can’t do that moving forward,. I need to be able to have it work normally.

    It seems like my only option will be to end up using a different method to display these. perhaps I will find a gallery to use instead.

    Its weird, I turned on debugging in wp-config and redid the issue, no errors were recorded. The last errors logged were in March.
    What’s also odd, is that when I revert the page back to a previous version to start over, it allows me to save the page with all 99 grids on there, but then once I go to make any changes and save it again, the issue happens. Not sure why it would save in one second then the next second, break the page.

    I see you added a code parcer to the site. I checked the errors it shows , did you see that? It looks like when its trying to save again, closing tags get missing from the blocks for some reason. That’s what’s breaking it. apparently, but not sure why these tags go missing.

    I increases those 10 x and they did not fix anything unfortunately. I deactivated all plugins too an no help.

    I was able to get a work around to get all my columns and rows added. When I reverted back to an old version of the page, it was displaying all the page builder code so I copied and pasted it and saved it in that mode and that worked.

    The issue though moving forward is that the grids that we are creating will need to be updated several times. We cant save any new changes with this issue. It just breaks the page. We really need this saving issue fixed and unsure what to do at this point as we have tried seemingly everything.

    I have several sites that use Enfold and haven’t had this issue before with any of them.

    Hello,

    I updated the theme, but unfortunately that did not help the issue. This is what it does when I try and save it the page. Its like its rejecting the next row we add.

    I also updated the php to 8.3 and deactivated the caching plugin as I know they can interfere with things sometimes. Same issue persists though.

    @guenni007 is turns out that the initial line of code you mentioned creating this issue. I have no idea why it was added, but I imagine we had a reason to do it way back then a few years ago. I removed it and everything seems fine now. Thanks everyone for helping with this.

    Thanks for the replies guys. The site should be accessible now for you. Please try again and let me know. We are only blocking Russia and Ukraine

    The site is at least 5 years old and has had this same exact setup the entire time. It has always worked with no issues until a couple months ago when it stopped working. I assume it was after some updates we did in June. We updated the theme and some plugins and I am sure WordPress too.

    The essential grid gallery is just shortcode in the default editor. We are not using a page builder on the gallery pages.
    We are using the page builder for the product pages as we are using masonry galleries inside containers inside a color section. Same as its always been.

    Its says “no errors..” as well.

    Mod_Security is activated, but we tested deactivating it and that didn’t change anything.

    Yesterday I ended up rebuilding each page that was effected and tested along the way and it was the same weird issue for each page in that once I omitted the colon, the builder displayed properly in the admin. What’s even weirder is that there is one page that has colons, that is not effected at all. I can edit it without trouble. I can’t see any differences in the pages, so not sure how that happens. Its so odd and frustrating.

    I am not even seeing that error that you mention in the error logs. I provided a copy of the logs below. They stop as of the 6th

    We also activated the ini_set a couple days a go and that seemed to stop that error in the logs.

    OK, the Dropbox link is in the private content. We have no html in the title.

    To make sure you are clear on my testing. If I just copy all of the shortcode and add it to a new page and remove the colon, it does not fix the page. I have to rebuild the content section at a time and its when i get to that section if I leave the colons out, it works, but if I keep using it, the page breaks the same way. But simply copying the shortcode to a new page and removing the colon, doesn’t fix the issue. I am not sure if that’s due to caching or something else.

    I have some interesting information regarding this issue and want to see if you have any ideas as to a big fix. I have discovered what is breaking the page builder in the admin on specific pages; it’s the colon character(:). I was testing rebuilding some pages and as I was adding content, I Color Section with that content would no longer be editable. and when saving the page the spinning would happen again. So I pretty knew at that point it was something in the content and likely a special character. i tested removing all of them and adding back one by one and was able to narrow it down to the colon.

    The only this is, even though I know that is the issue, I don’t know what would be the cause. I have tested other sites on this same server and it is only happening to Enfold sites that use this special character. Wondering if you guys might have any clues as to what the root cause could be.

    Yes, the plugin was just referring to your comment about the login pages and why that was. Yes, the first thing we tested was deactivating plugins charging different theme versions, WordPress nd of course php levels. We have a lot of experience with these types of issues. The reason we are reaching out to you guys is because it seems to only be your page builders that are effected. We have 2 servers with 100 accounts on each one and the issue seems specific to the websites with your theme. I was hoping you would have some inside knowledge or insight that could help us figure it out as all the other testing we typically go through hasnot worked.

    The plugin is called WPS Hide Login. The login page is the only thing fixed. the issue with the page builder not working on several pages still exists unfortunately. Not sure what to do. I did share this with the server host so I will hopefully see what they say soon.

    I am pretty sure the issue with the custom login plugin was because I was messing with the htaccess file. Its working again.
    I did test disabling the mod security and that did not work. below is the error log if you can see anything there that stands out. I notice the ini_set errors and thought that was odd. and the fatal error for allowed memory, but that could be from my testing. The ini_set error is listed in the other sites too.

    Thank for the reply. We have been testing all of the sites that are being affected with this issue, including these suggestions. Changing these settings are usually the first thing we do, but I tried again just in case and no luck. This issue has happened before on different sites, but I can’t recall exactly what we did to fix it. This issue seems unusual as its happening to several sites that use Enfold, but not all of them. I feel like we have tried just about everything we can think of, even going back to old version of WP and Enfold.

    Hi

    If you read my initial entry you will see that we have several sites with this issue happening. Most of those site do not have any scripts added to those pages aside from standard google analytics which is in the header.php file. These sites were all working fine for many months until just recently. We have not added anything to the pages in that time. I believe the issue started after recent updates to WP, your theme, etc. but not certain. Using the Layout Builder debug mode I have copied all the code from the home page of the site i already provided access to so you can see it for yourself. I am not seeing anything in the code that would cause this issue. Additionally the code is on random pages and not every page.

    Thanks for the response. I have used that feature before but its not quire the same as what i am looking for. The site I provided as an example is a sister site to the one we are building. Unfortunately I cant just copy the code from that site because that one was done in the Avada them, but we wanted to use yours for this site as we just like it better. The example site has a two transparency for the main menu and top bar menu. The feature you mention would simply add a subtle gloss all the way up. Would I be able to modify the gloss styles from that point to get the look I want?

    yes, my apologies, you are correct. One last thing. Is it possible to add some margin between the first and second columns pushing the last four columns closer together so there is a pretty clear separation between the first and last four?

    OK, it wasn’t giving me the option for that and I realized i needed to update the theme. I did that and it fixed that issue. Now though, the footer doesn’t display. I checked theme options and it should be still. any ideas? WordPress and plugins are up to date also.

    hello. sorry I don’t know how to start a new topic so hopefully you will find this. I have this header set up and am having problem increasing the logo size to where we want it. We want it to be 500 x 74 px but it is forcing it to a 300px width. There is something preventing it and its compressing the logo and making it blurry. Please advise.

    No problem with increasing font, but the text color change would be nice. I just need them to look and feel more like clickable buttons rather than static text.
