MIKE! Got me close enough – adding the extra column that is blank is what pushed everything over to give it the feel I wanted. I was able to still have the “description” text as before. With some css edits to a custom class I can get it to look like we want.

Mike thank you – this is what I want accomplished but without having to modify every sub-navigation layout.
Is there any way to have the 2nd row auto align? And have the far left column be a span of 100%?I am trying to mimic this using enfold https://ibb.co/CBhFFJV
Any ideas how to get the 2nd row to align to the right of the description box and still float left? I forced the 2nd row to float right but the alignment is off?
So a small but not reliable fix is a custom class on the menu li element.
.menu-2 {float:right !important; left:50px !important;}
I would like if possible for the navigation titles to align without the class. Do you know of a way to do that?Any ideas how to accomplish this. I have tried messing with the CSS to try and get it rowspan but nothing is working.
We can close this – this has nothing to do with the uploader or the way Enfold creates the other images. Our client saved his files with a CMYK profile. We took some of the same images and saved for web – and the images show consistent in all sizes now.
Issue has been resolved with the newest version of the theme. 4.5.3. Nothing changed on the server as the support team at InMotion Hosting couldn’t find the problem. I am able to save the theme settings just fine now.

Okay on side note I have a client using the theme on siteground running php 7.2 and version 5.4.2 of the them with no issues.
So I am a bit confused why A2 hosting and Inmotion Hosting are having problems – I can only imagine it is now a server setting…
Richard – thank you! I will try testing the disable function for Gutenberg to see if that helps.
What has helped is rolling the theme back to 4.5 which has gotten rid of the 500 error. Please keep this ticket open as I will return with results to the testing in the next day or two.

@Mike – thank you for taking a look. I started off this morning disabling my plugins and found that All in One SEO is the plugin causing the issue. Since All in one SEO was the issue – I will contact them to see if I can locate a fix.

So there is no easy way to copy the function that creates the BUTTON & dropdown and add my own?
So easiest way is to create my on function – I was hoping I could use the function you have already created.
I have followed the example link and get a 500 error when trying to add the code to the function files. if I remove the first line the site comes back so there is something wrong with the add filter.
