Just to add: I’ve noticed problems with Chrome before (e.g., the “jerky lag” of the fullscreen slider), but actually the current homepage was fine until I tried to remove the copyright info in the footer. I restored it, but the problem remained. (I actually don’t need a site-wide copyright notice as such because only the individual authors on the site have copyright notices. Everything we write not subject to our publisher’s claim we’re glad to share via the creative commons license).

Apologies: I thought /author and the username that followed was generated by the theme, since I had not previously seen (or at least remember seeing) /author in my previous themes. I’ll look into it further, as you suggest. Thanks!
Hi Devin! Thanks very much. I had assumed that the demo was using the default. I’ll not make that mistake again ;)
Much appreciated!
January 29, 2014 at 3:12 am in reply to: "Down" arrow for theme? Especially for FullScreen slider #216208Hi Devin. What you say makes good sense. Moreover, I’d think most people would intuitively scroll anyway. But I thought again when I saw that the Google and the Twitter folks were not assuming as much (then again, they have no menus up top on those sites and no buttons on the slide).. Actually, it’s no biggie, unless of course it becomes a biggie.
Thanks again–will do as you suggest.
January 28, 2014 at 8:41 pm in reply to: LayerSlider Settings: What are they on the Enfold demo? #216028Hi Yigit. Thanks for the settings. It appears that the latest LayerSlider is not yet included in Enfold. Looking forward to it in future releases of the theme.
Thanks again!
Hi Yigit. That’ll do it. Thanks..
Hi Yigit
Thanks for responding. I had to close the website down while I work on it; I figured you’d be able to get in with the admin credentials. I simply couldn’t afford to wait for the days to go by without advancing beyond what’s usually a one-minute step 1. I suspect the CSS above doesn’t work in any version of Explorer (again, it’s fine in other browsers) , particularly when the full screen slide is on (which is my case).
I know that you have an immensely popular theme–hey, well deserved!–and I understand your team can’t get to some support questions promptly; but I have to come back to this issue after I finish what I’m doing now–unless I have problems there, too ;)
By the way, i tried it with the default Enfold logo–same problem.
Will be in touch–thanks again!
Added (likely related) information: I tried adding the css given here just to see what it would look like: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/making-header-background-and-menu-background-more-transparent/
Header remained the same on all browsers. Absolutely nothing changed (this with the previous css deleted). So I’m figuring something’s going on with the header–just hoping it’s not a conflict with a critical plugin (though nothing indicates it is). Thanks.

Questions simplified:
Is pasting the logo on a max 340×156 area considered best practice for Enfold (i.e., as opposed to say, a transparent png with padding)? How to make the logo shrink less on scroll?
Thanks!
