Ah. Forgot about that, Josue.. Thank you!
February 3, 2015 at 3:45 am in reply to: Enfold theme breaks when third-party plugin is DIS-abled #389822Hi Günter
Of the three, the one thing I haven’t tried is uninstalling the plugin–for fear it’ll leave the site crippled. I may have no other choice, though, but I’ll look further at the tables in the db first.
UserPro is actually a good plugin–I just don’t have a need for it anymore. The theme–definitely.
Thanks again!
November 21, 2014 at 11:12 pm in reply to: ALL sliders and header suddenly stopped working on my site #355667Hi Yigit
That seems to have done it–many thanks. There are still a few minor quirks (e.g., special headings option), but I want to make sure it’s not something I can take care of myself before I post to support.
But the major problem is now solved with a simple theme update.
Thanks again–and I appreciate your timely reply!
Hi Ismael. That doesn’t work, either.
But I did find a workaround which will suffice, so this thread can be closed on my part.
Thanks, Enfold folks, for the follow-ups!
Hi Yigit. Thanks–but I’d already tried Josue’s solution (I did a search prior to posting my question). It works for images , but not for iframe content, which is what I’m concerned with, as I’ve noted throughout. The iframe content remains the same default large–i.e., it covers about 70% of the screen. The iframe content is responsive (takes up the entire screen when going directly to the origin URL). Please see exactly what I’m referring to with the links I provided earlier per your request.
I’m hoping to avoid adding yet another lightbox plugin, as they often don’t play nice with each other (or with themes), so I’d really like to use the lightbox solution that comes with the theme.
Any other ideas on how to change (increase) the lightbox size for iframe content within Enfold?
Thank you!
Hi again, Enfold Team.. I’m aware that my adding this request for a follow-up on my original post may further delay any response, but any answer you might provide might be useful. I added the page in question as you requested last night.
Again, the question: How do I change the lightbox size when using iframe content?
Thanks!
This reply has been marked as private. Thanks very much, Yigit–works like a charm!
As to #2, my apologies: I had forgotten that the glass transparency option setting is accessed on the page itself.
October 1, 2014 at 10:03 pm in reply to: How to eliminate linked image hover on a single page? #328526Hi Yigit
That’s what I was looking for–and it seems to have done the trick. Should any problems arise, I’ll be sure to let you know.
Thanks very kindly!
October 1, 2014 at 6:26 pm in reply to: How to eliminate linked image hover on a single page? #328358Hi Yigit. Thanks, but that’s not what I’m looking for–I just used the posts as just an example of what I was referring to (image overlay). I want to eliminate the image overlay on just one specific page–where the (non-bbPress) forums are, not any blog pages. I’m guessing I need to add a page ID somewhere (although the forum of course produces dynamic pages).
To sum up: How do I eliminate the image overlay for a specific page?
Thanks!
September 22, 2014 at 10:34 pm in reply to: Blog category and tags do not work when Press Permit plugin is installed #323328Hi, Peter. Will go ahead with the install. Thanks!
September 22, 2014 at 3:10 pm in reply to: Blog category and tags do not work when Press Permit plugin is installed #323049Thanks, Ismael. I figured that was the case regarding the Press Permit plugin.
What about my second question–regarding bbPress? Can we now update to 2.5x without issue? I know it’s a third party plugin also,, but since it comes with Enfold, I thought you folks might be able to answer that one.
Thanks again!
September 21, 2014 at 2:36 am in reply to: Blog category and tags do not work when Press Permit plugin is installed #322531I think I’ll just do another clean install of Press Permit (new version) after figuring out which database tables need deleting. If it’s between Press Permit and Enfold, I’ll take Enfold. But I can’t rule out that neither is the culprit–i.e., it may be a combination of my settings in Enfold and the plugin.
I, do, however, have a related question: When I first began using Enfold, it was my understanding that version 2.4x of bbPress came included and it should be kept at that version until further notice. Is it ok now to update bbPress to 2.5x?
Thanks again.
Hi suziwilson. I was looking for exactly the same thing just now and found this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/bold-color-css-not-working/
I followed Yigit’s advice and it works.
Hey, Dude. Thanks. I’d ruled out plugins because the links worked with two other themes, but it’s in the interaction, I think. At any rate, thanks for taking a look. I’ll contact that plugin’s author.
Hi. I don’t mean to hijack this thread; rather, I am facing a nearly identical issue after updating to version 2.6, and am wondering if this was resolved? I posted my own thread on the issue (complete with admin credentials) maybe a day and a half ago, but have yet to hear from Support (I understand Support must be very busy.) Thanks.

The issue is resolved and the problem was 100% with the UserPro plugin. Its author cited a “minor jquery conflict,” which he corrected for the updated version. I can now confirm that the updated plugin works very well with Enfold. Thanks!
February 24, 2014 at 5:03 pm in reply to: Search not working/search box invisible after theme update #228553Hi Yigit. Yes, of course, I will share that information as soon as the solution is found. The plugin in question is UserPro, version 1.0.72, by the way.
February 24, 2014 at 6:54 am in reply to: Search not working/search box invisible after theme update #228354I just discovered that it now conflicts with a plugin I’ve had installed before I installed Enfold and will check with that plugin’s author. Thanks.

Just to let you (and any others who might have a similar issue) know: It appears that the issue of the Fullscreen slider and parallax color section in Chrome has been corrected in the new 2.5 version of Enfold. After upgrading, all issues immediately disappeared and all looks and works fine.
Many thanks to the author of the theme who continues to work to improve it–and also to Support for their efforts.
February 13, 2014 at 10:16 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #223675So that your time isn’t wasted: I’ll just change the site design and try to avoid the using the same combination of elements. Again, there IS an issue with Chrome, of that I can assure you, just as others have mentioned here in the past. But, as with those Enfold customers, I don’t think I’m going to get anywhere with this thread. No knock on Support: I appreciate your time and I believe you believe that the theme is problem-free.
Anyway, Enfold is a very flexible theme–I really do like it, despite its drawbacks–so I’m sure I can do something else close to what I wanted.
Thanks.
February 13, 2014 at 1:26 am in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #223125Hi. I’ve tried all sorts of things without success, but if you cannot see the difference when scrolling in Chrome, please do this: Go to the test page I noted above. In the admin panel under “Design” (lower right), then under Header Settings, change between “Display the Header” and Don’t display the header.” When the header is displayed, the page scrolls correctly and smoothly in Chrome. When the header is not displayed (as is the case on a homepage), scrolling is not smooth in Chrome and results in “jumps” that leave white spaces that cover nearly the entire screen. Again, please see the screen shot I posted above that clearly shows this. (In some monitors, there is nothing but white space as you scroll at one point between the icons and rock image). Also, if this will help: Note that if the image in the second color section is set to “scroll” instead of “fixed,” this affects the full screen image which becomes “jerky”–again, only in Chrome.
None of this is readily noticeable if you’re scrolling extremely fast, I suppose, but it does in fact “lag” when scrolling at anywhere near normal speed. We did this today on several different machines–all with the same result in Chrome. If necessary, I can send you actual video of several persons on the same page with the same scroll problem in Chrome. I cannot explain the issue more clearly in words and screen shots. You will notice that, as you scroll in Chrome, the second image (of the rocks) just “jumps” into view rather than smoothly coming into view as it does in all other browsers. If this is a theme bug with Chrome, please let me know (I understand that there’s no “perfect” theme), so that I can abandon attempting to correct the uncorrectable. I mention this because a very similar problem regarding Chrome was reported several months ago here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/laggy-fullscreen-slider/ As in my case, the issue was initially denied, finally accepted after others reported the same, then a fix for the future was indicated. I gather it has not been fixed? Or is a different issue altogether? How was that issue finally resolved? Again, I ask so that I don’t continue on the proverbial wild goose chase.
But again, I want to emphasize that everything works and looks great where there is a header (the page title and breadcrumbs–i.e., on every page except home). There may very well be a solution in that fact, but unfortunately, I don’t know nearly enough about the theme to figure it out.
Thanks again!
February 12, 2014 at 8:05 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222979So my question is very simple–at least for me to simply ask it. ;)
How do I get the homepage to look and behave exactly like the test page in Chrome?
I have now tested on five different machines–same issue. The problem–with very little room for rational doubt–is with how Chrome interacts with this part of the theme. Please see my screenshots. Thanks!
Edit: It occurs to me to mention that you cannot see the difference on Chrome re the parallax scroll effect on and around the rock image on mobile devices–only on desktops and most laptops (but my users mostly use conventional PCs).
February 12, 2014 at 6:17 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222932This reply has been marked as private.February 12, 2014 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222913I just asked several more people to compare the homepage and the test page in Chrome, and the replies range from “definitely different” to “slightly different” (not unusual to have such subjectivity). The thing in common is, of course, the two (presumably identical) pages react differently in Chrome for whatever reason. I can get screenshots from several different machines within a couple of hours. Please let me know if you need them.
Thanks!
February 12, 2014 at 5:27 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222895Hi. Ok, I feel like an idiot re Explorer: I had it set to 80% zoom.
Chrome: I’m using the latest version, 32.0.1700.107 m. I called one other person, asked her to check in Chrome, and she also notices a “slight” difference in how the pages behave in Chrome.
February 12, 2014 at 5:11 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222889Hi, Devin! Thanks for taking a look and correcting my mistakes. But now there’s a problem in Explorer 11: The rocks image no longer spans full width as it did before (and as it does on FF and Chrome). Also, even in Chrome, the homepage isn’t nearly as fluid in Chrome as it is on the regular page I pasted above. Is this just one of those things I’ll have to live with?
Put another way: Can I get the homepage to behave exactly as it does on the regular page I noted earlier? (same code, very different results).
Thanks!
February 12, 2014 at 4:18 pm in reply to: Spacing issue in Chrome when using parallax/colorbox #222851In addition to the screenshots I just posted and to clarify: It is the behavior of Chrome that is the issue–not the physical spacing as such. I refer to the spacing only because on a regular page, this behavior does not occur–hence my theory (just a guess) that something is causing an issue in Chrome when the same code is on the homepage where the only difference is the lack of the title bar.
Moreover, I’ve already eliminated possibilities such as plug-in conflicts–and again, it was fine in Chrome before I removed the copyright notice. I’d like to know exactly what’s going on–what I did wrong, if that’s the issue–because right now I’m hesitant to use the page builder for fear of further issues.
Thanks!
