I should also let you know that it seems to have really broken the menus for everything else….staging.flfe.net/webinars can show you what has happened.
August 11, 2021 at 8:06 pm in reply to: Issue with background colors -> Background Gradient #1316322Hey Gunter,
I don’t know how to do this step:
– save theme options (this invalidates our post css files and forces a rebuild)
I did everythind else and the front page of the website no longer loads…oops.

August 5, 2021 at 7:27 pm in reply to: Icons are just showing as a box after WordPress 5.8 Update #1314709Thanks for looking into it!
I just realized that I entered the wrong picture to show what it looks like with the latest version of Enfold (4.8.6) and WordPress 5.8.
Now you can see what I mean!
August 3, 2021 at 9:06 pm in reply to: Icons are just showing as a box after WordPress 5.8 Update #1314219Hey Nikko,
We are still experiencing the same issue even after updating to Enfold (4.8.6). We also have an issue with our banners where the colour either won’t show up, or the transparency won’t work with an image on the background. Please see the differences on our two front-facing sites (one staging and one live, staging has been upgraded, live has been kept at 4.8.4).
Staging= staging.flfe.net
Live = flfe.netThank you in advance for your help!
Hello,
We upgraded to the latest Enfold theme (4.8.6) and it didn’t change anything in regards to the gradient problem. Here is what we are seeing again for our evidence page:
Hey Gunter,
I have a staging site that upgraded to the latest theme and it seems to have made the problem worse by having no background show up on the banners at the top. Here is an example:
So, I am reticent to believe that this will fix the problem!
Thanks for your suggestion:

July 22, 2021 at 7:14 pm in reply to: Icons are just showing as a box after WordPress 5.8 Update #1311597Hey Nikko,
I had to back out the latest WordPress update and theme update as it caused so many issues that we will have to wait until Enfold and the newest version of WordPress play nicely together.
Hello,
I switched both columns to indivdual height and they look good now!
Thanks so much for your help – I think we’re good here.
It looks like the Fullwidth Break Point is working well after the height adjustment.
Thanks again,
Max
I can’t reproduce it every time either. I’m not using an unusual browser – we use Chrome. I can’t reproduce it currently – on a semi-related note, it seems like the boxes shouldn’t resize in this way:
https://www.flfe.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Other-Front-Facing.jpg
This happens when the screen width is between 768 px – 990px.
Thanks for your help!
Max
It seems reproducible sometimes, but not others….it looks like the wonky breakpoint is at about 775 pixels wide. Then you get the bottom three boxes going large while the top ones are small? Seems like odd behaviour. I have tried adding a fourth box to “smooth” things out to see if it would fix the issue, but it hasn’t.
Thanks for your response!

January 12, 2021 at 9:53 pm in reply to: .avia-slideshow-inner height arbitrarily large on page load #1271987I’m good! Thank you.
I will note, though, for whatever reason the issue persisted on at least a couple pages when I added min-height to the CSS listed above. I am leaving it at height for now, as that seems to solve the issue.
January 11, 2021 at 7:51 pm in reply to: .avia-slideshow-inner height arbitrarily large on page load #1271689Hey Nikko,
Thanks for your suggestion. I have done so. Thank you for your prompt response and help!

January 5, 2021 at 1:35 am in reply to: .avia-slideshow-inner height arbitrarily large on page load #1270275I’ve gotten past this by putting the height to 10% for screens over 400px:
@media only screen and (min-width: 400px) {
.avia-slideshow-inner {
height: 10% !important;
}It seems to be resolved for now, but if anybody could comment on how to make banners appear less squished and useless for mobile, that would be greatly appreciated!
Hey Rikkard,
Thank you for your suggestion. After a couple media queries it definitely worked. Thank you very much. I appreciate all your help.
Cheers,
Max
Hey Rikard,
Here it is:
https://www.flfe.net/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Annotation-2019-10-02-103128.jpg
It starts at ~763px – ~969px.
Thanks for looking into this.
October 2, 2019 at 7:27 pm in reply to: Trying to add floating button but it's not showing up #1144245Hey All,
Thanks for your help. I ended up getting it working – although there still is a lot I don’t really understand, such as the javascript not working unless it was in the footer along with the html for the button. THank you for letting me know about the child theme having to be active – I didn’t realize that was the case, but with enough persistence I came to that conclusion.
Cheers,
Max
Hey Basilis,
It’s not the zoom I’m so worried about. Some mobile devices seem to have that amount of zoom (or just page size by default) to trigger this issue happening.
It’s not really a big issue. It’s just a weird anomaly. Boss wants me to look into it, even though I’m pretty sure it affects nobody and is pretty difficult to actually even trigger.
Thanks for your reply,
Cheers,
Max
