December 14, 2020 at 11:36 am in reply to: Portfolio grid: space between the items (but not on the outer edges) #1267074
Hi, Mike.
No problem, I’m glad you answered – thank you very much.
The code works in the way that the 4th elements of each row are now aligned to the right as desired.
But that´s because those elements are enlarged and so they are different to the others (please see the screenshots).Kind regards, fkm
December 8, 2020 at 2:21 pm in reply to: Portfolio grid: space between the items (but not on the outer edges) #1265756Hi, Rikard.
Thank you very much for your reply.
Unfortunately, this code does not lead to a satisfactory result. Is there a way to only define the inner distances of a row and to leave the outer margins/paddings at 0 Pixels (also on other views, e.g. of mobile devices with fewer elements in a row)?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards, fkm
December 4, 2020 at 11:17 am in reply to: Portfolio grid: space between the items (but not on the outer edges) #1264973Hi Rikard,
thank you very much for your immediate reply and the code.
I just tried but unfortunatelly it seems like nothing changed. Also I played around with the same principle/code changing the paddings.
Something happend here: The fourth image was enlarged to the far right (as desired).
However, it also got higher and so it was different from the first three images.Best regards, fkm
December 3, 2020 at 10:59 am in reply to: Portfolio grid: space between the items (but not on the outer edges) #1264714Hey Ismael,
thank you very much for your reply/help.
I just switched the code to create the gap to:
.grid-entry .inner-entry {
margin-right: 20px;
}Same effect (and same issue).
Next I tried to find a solution by trying out different things using the instructions (following the links you gave me).
Something happened too, but not exactly what I wanted to achieve.
In all honesty, I’m not familiar with programming languages.
Naively, I thought that there was a simple code for it that I just had to insert into the Quickk CSS field.Best regards, fkm
Hi, Yigit.
Thank you very much for your fast reply/support.
Worked just great.Best regards, fkm
Hi Yigit,
this code works very well for viewing on desktop/tablet – so far, many thanks.
Still both the text and the buttons are centered viewing on smartphones.
Please let me know how to match it.In addition please let me know if it´s possible (without major effort) to implimate a colored overlay behind the cookie box as a background for the whole screen which disappears when the box is clicked away.
Thanks again in advance.
Best regrads, fkm
Hi Yigit,
first of all thank you very much for your reply (and pleace excuse my late).
I just enabled the cookie bar again. Please see the screenshots (dropbox link).
If possible, I´d like to have a similar cookie bar for all devises (left aligned text and bottoms at the left on desktop and mobile devices). Thanks a lot in advance.
Best regards, fkm
Hey Rikard,
works great for the big screen – thank you very much!
Still the text is centered on mobile devices (smartphone).
Please let me know how to change it into a left aligned as well.
Also I´d like to move the buttons to the left (nor centered) and increase the space above and below them.Thank you very much for your help in advance.
Best regards, fkm
Good morning, Victoria.

Hi, Mike,
on point – thank you so much.
Is there a simple way to move the text of the openend and closed toggles a lil bit more to the left to bring it closer to the icons (+/–)?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
FKMHi, Mike.

Thanks in advance.

June 7, 2018 at 10:34 am in reply to: the content of the ajax portfolio preview has doubled suddenly #968488Hi, Mike.
First of all: it does help, it works – awesome!
Thank you so much. :)And also thank you very much for your instruction about deleting and uploading of the theme.
To be honest, I´m not sure if I have custom coding in my child theme shortcodes.js.
But I will find out and if applicable I will find out if I really need it or not. Thanks again: Great WP theme. Great support.

June 5, 2018 at 4:39 pm in reply to: the content of the ajax portfolio preview has doubled suddenly #967303Hi, Mike.
Thx a lot for your reply.
Yes, you are right, the shortcodes.js was updated by a friend of mine.
And I think (don´t know) I don´t have any plugin activated that uses caches.
Unfortunatelly it doesn´t solve the issue (but it does solve an issue I had before with google maps). So please let me know if there´s a way (tutorial etc.) for rookies like me to handle the deleting and uploading of the theme or should I prever to hire a pro for this task?
Best regards, FKM
June 4, 2018 at 12:04 pm in reply to: the content of the ajax portfolio preview has doubled suddenly #966473Hi,
thank you very much for your reply and please excuse my late answer.
I asked a versed fried of mine (the same who created the child theme for me then) to update the file with a “fresh copy” like Victoria advised me.
Unfortunately the issue with the double content at the ajax portfolio preview was not solved with this.So the next step/try is to delete the previous theme from FTP and upload again like Basilis told me to do?
Best regards, FKM
May 14, 2018 at 10:39 am in reply to: the content of the ajax portfolio preview has doubled suddenly #956355Hi, Victoria.
Thx a lot for your reply.
I didn´t fresh up any file before updating the theme (I do not even know how to do this).
So I need to find out what and where those shortcodes.js are and update them?Best regards, FKM

May 8, 2018 at 11:19 am in reply to: the content of the ajax portfolio preview has doubled suddenly #953305Hi, Ismael.
Thanks you very much for your reply.
I didn´t add any modifications or other plugins prior to the issue – at least not that I´d be aware.
Recently I had to move the webiste to another hosting provider. Could that be a possible cause?
The first time I noticed the issue, was at the check just after the latest theme update. Thanks a lot in advance for an advice.
Best regards, FKM

April 9, 2018 at 12:20 pm in reply to: Changing the position of the ajax portfolio preview controls #939121Hi, Nikko.
Thank you so much for your reply.
With this css code the ajax controlls move to the left border – so we´re on the right way, just the wrong direction :)
I´d like to move it to the upper border (please see the link attached).
And would also like to leave it as it is for mobile devices (smartphones).Thx in advance.
Best regards, FKM
