Apologies, the problem was with my custom css. All sorted!
Hi Ismael,
I’m not using Advanced Layout editor here as I wanted a simple solution for my client, so they could easily make posts without having to think about adding elements.
I have also tried deactivating plugins but that doesn’t help.
Any other ideas as to what the problem might be?FionaDee
Thank you Victoria, that works a treat!
Yoast Premium 10.1.1 appears to be the culprit in my case.
Same problem here, text tab in posts inactive after updating to 4.7.3. I have 7.0.33 php.

Hi Basilis,
We have resolved the problem by using Yigit’s suggested fix for Gravity Forms not displaying in Safari. After discovering an additional problem in Safari with Gravity forms I found this:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/gravity-form-no-longer-showing-in-safari-browser/
Yigit’s suggestion on replacing /enfold/js/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.js worked for both Gravity Forms and the Events Calendar Pro problem. They are now both showing in Safari as expected:
https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_6_3/avia-snippet-cookieconsent.jsI hope this fix will be included in the next update.
Best regards
FionadeeHi Vinay,
Thanks for your help – I will check this out.
FionadeeThanks Rikard that’s fantastic!
The position is almost spot on and I can easily adjust. I’ve also removed the shrinking header option as it wasn’t looking good.
One other thing you might be able to help with.
I am getting a flash of white behind the menu on loading some of the more image-heavy pages. Is there anything I can do to prevent this? On the home page I’ve added a black background which works, but my other pages are white. Thanks Rikard,
I will try that now.
Yes, fine to close this topic now.
Thank youHi Victoria,
Apologies for the delay in replying. Not sure why you couldn’t see the page, it’s definitely there. We found a workaround by centering the layout.
I now have another question which I will post separately. Many thanks
I’ll try using quick CSS today and let you know if the same problem occurs …
Hi Rikard,
I added code now its gone. The code was saved and the changes showed on the website.

Have a great day,
FionadeeThank you Rikard, that’s great – I don’t know how I missed updating that file!
Hi,
Unfortunately I still have a problem.
Just to summarise, I used some out-of-date information to create an enqueue folder for CSS in my child theme. This seemed to be the cause of the broken theme so I replaced it with a fresh child theme folder. However my new style.css is not being recognised and I am getting the error message below:
/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/css/my_custom.css?ver=5.2.1:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()
Enfold is still looking for the old “my_custom.css” file. How can I direct Enfold to the new version?
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your reply. I have reinstated both but was wondering what could have caused this to happen. I think I found the reason for the missing favicon – it was also specified in: Appearance > Customise > Site Identity, so there would have been a clash there (this is a website I have taken over from another designer and I missed this!)
No idea why the logo would unattach itself though.
All the best,

The problem seems fixed after restoring my original child theme using style.css.
I am still getting the same broken theme message above. Please can you help?
Hi,
The Child Theme broke again since writing above, I have now done another restore.
Reading this post:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/child-theme-default-style-css-or-enqueue-my_custom-css/ I’m wondering whether I caused the problem by using the outdated enqueue method. I will switch back to the usual method using style.css and let you know if it solves the problem. Thanks Victoria.
That did the trick! Thanks so much for your help.

Hi Ismael,
Thanks for getting back to me.
This does not seem to work, I’m testing with Chrome and Firefox.
