Hey Josue,
That has totally sorted it! Thanks a lot :)
Masten
Hi Josue
Ok I understand. The problem is if you put the background as a layer in each slide then the background will slide in again which won’t look right. It needs to stay where it is with the other elements sliding in on top.

Can you think of anything here to solve this? The only thing I can think of it to turn the slider background off for phones. Possible?
Thanks
Masten
Hey Jouse
Right thanks. That fixed the repeating problem but the backgroud still isn’t resizing down for responsive.
Thanks
Masten
Ok, great stuff. Thanks Yigit
Hi Yigit
i. Done. Ok, great thanks.
ii. The problem is that you have to click at the end of the equation for the cursor to move into it. If you click at the start of the box, as most people will do, the cursor doesn’t appear.
Thanks
Masten
Just seen another problem. The background doesnt resize down in responsive either.
Thanks
Masten
Hi Josue
I cant get this to work. See here
http://www.mainline-energy.co.uk/temp-2/
I’ve tried:
background: url(http://www.mainline-energy.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/silder_background_2.png) no-repeat top center;
and
background: url(_URL_) no-repeat top center;
– in both layer slider/custom styles editor and in enfold/styling/quick css (wasnt sure where it was supposed to go)
Can’t get the slider background to stop repeating
Thanks
Masten
Hi Josue,
Yeah the way I fixed it was by just making the background 3000 wide with loads of dead space either side.Unfortunately this messes up the responsive.
Is there a way to turn off the background repeat?
Thanks
Masten
Hi Yigit
1. All I mean to move all the menu down so it sits just above the line that borders the slider.
2. Ok thanks, yes I thought it might need special customization. What about though – for ‘For homes’ and ‘For Business’ just changing the action so that the menu shows on ‘click’ not ‘hover’. Is that possible without special customisation?
Thanks
Masten
Hi Yigit
Sorry page been moved
http://www.mainline-energy.co.uk/home_new/
1. Ok, will do
2. Yes, that’s how it’s currently working which they don’t like. They want it adapting to work with ‘click’ in the following way:‘In the menu when you hover over say ‘For Homes’ a light green box with curved edges surrounds it, but none of the menus appear. Then when you ‘click’ ‘For Homes’ the light green box stays there, and the menus appear, and the light green box stays there until you click out onto ‘For Business’ and then the same thing again but for ‘For Business’
Thanks
Masten
Cheers mate. That did it :)
Worked a treat too. Cheers mate. M

Ok thanks. I’ve done it here using a colour section (the only way I can see how to do it)
http://www.mainline-energy.co.uk/home-page_new-with-featured-case-study_2/
Main problems (in order of priority) are:
1. The side bar gets pushed down. Needs to stay at the top on the right
2 It’s all the way across as a stripe rather than in a boxThanks
Masten
Hey Josue
I was just thinking of static title + content + link?
What do you mean by dynamically filled?
Thanks
Masten
Awesome! Thanks
M
Hi Yigit,
http://217.147.86.171/~mainline/
That fixed those things but the phone no. now justifies left underneath the top nav bar. When you add more menu items it keeps moving left. If possible it needs to be justified right underneath the far right hand side of the nav bar.
Thanks a lot
Masten
Hi Yigit,
Thanks. Have put that in and it’s nearly done it, but there’s still a line under the ‘home’ icon and also the menus don’t appear now on hover on ‘for homes’ and ‘for business’ .
Is there a way to fix that?
Many thanks
Masten
Hi Yigit
Yeah chosen the non-fixed one.
Nav needs moving across to justify right and also the ‘home page’ icon, has shot to the top now and needs centering. There’s also a weird green line appeared underneatht the icon.
Thanks
Masten
Hi Josue
Thanks that looks just the job :)
M
Awesome mate, thanks :)
M
Thanks Yigit
Worked a treat :)

Oh just seen another problem. When you scroll up the menu bangs against the phone no. Only way to sort this out I imagine is to disable the way the header collapses when you scroll. Is that possible?
Thanks
Masten
Hey Yigit
That’s great worked a treat but the nav needs moving to the right now so it’s above it.
Thought this would work
#top .sub_menu > ul {
float: right;
}But if you do that the phone no. jumps to the left. They both need justifying to the right of the page
Thanks
Masten
Hi guys
Oik. Got it. Wil have a look at those later.
Why not have a ‘get some custom code done’ section here where you can take requests directly. Just an idea.
Cheers
Mastem
Hi Ismael
Ok, thanks for that. Will give it a go
Cheers
Masten
Hi Yigit
Url here http://217.147.86.171/~mainline/
Using fixed header with additional icon and fixed navigation.
Cheers
Masten
Hi guys
Yeah I meant the main home label in the nav bar. Sorry Josue if I didn’t make it clear.
That sorted it Ismael. URL here for your interest
