How can I have it so that it is bold & when hyperlinked it is red, as it stays blue, just has a red line under it.
Is there a way the editor on the page (for text color) can take priority over the style sheet?
Or is there a way that there is no color given to Bold text in styles sheet and I can make it what ever color from the advanced page editor (text color)?
Sorry to be a pain
Cheers Dave
I didn’t do a thing! Glad it is now working.
Thanks for your helpHi Guys

DaveThanks for your help, I had to get some Indian developers to help as I am running out of time to get these errors fixed. They just finished uploading what they did.
Thanks anyway :)Thanks for your help, greatly appreciated :)
Hi
The only customization was done in the Child Theme. What have I done wrong with it.
When I update the theme I also get the Fatal Error.
I don’t know, that’s why I’d like some help to
1 – to get rid of the vertical lines either side of the logo area
2 – be able to update the theme with out getting a fatal error
Thanks for offering to help :)Dave
How do I do that?
Can you help with that?Kind regards
DaveThanks.
But the customer won’t be happy with half a job.The header logo/menu & section above logo is different & work different when scrolling. Their Booking Form is all out of wack.
Those things need styles & code added to them that was on the Child Theme. styles.css, header.php & functions.phpI thought the idea of having a Child Theme was so when we updated the Theme to a latest version we didn’t loose the special styling & code added to styles.css, header.php & functions.php
I can redo the test sizing, footer & socket content & layout BUT that won’t fix the header, logo, menu section. Let alone the Booking Form.
Thanks anyway however I really need someone who can help me to make it right & find the bit of code or whatever that causes the problem.
On my local host when the website is complete with child theme. I update it to the latest theme version I got either a white screen or this Fatal Error:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function avia_header_class() in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/sites/hirum1/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/header.php on line 12I have uploaded the website as it should look, at http://dev1.findnethosting.com/
Except in mobile view the footer columns are next to each other rather than above & below each other & seems to be only on the Home page.
This was the original problem. However when we update the theme, the page has an error or is a white screen.See Private notes
Please if someone can help!!
Kind regards
DaveHi
On my local host I updated the theme version from 3.5.3 to the latest version & brings up a page with this errorFatal error: Call to undefined function avia_header_class() in /Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/sites/hirum1/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/header.php on line 12
I believe you will have the same error if you update the theme version for the site on the test server http://globalonlinecash.com/
However I can still log into the wp-admin on the site even though I have a fatal error.
Hope that helpKind regards
DaveHi
I tried uploading the older theme version 4.0.7 & made no difference to test.findnetsolutions.com. Then tried to fix that & locked my self out of the wp-admin login. So I have deleted it from the server.However on the other test site test.lpdemo.com. I uploaded the version 4.0.7 but it still has a white page. I didn’t fiddle any more so I hope someone can help sort out why the theme doesn’t work, after version 3.5.3
Originally on version 3.5.3 the home page footer columns were next to each other rather than below each other on mobile view. Other pages seem OK.
Please can someone use the details in the Private section to help me.
Your help would be greatly appreciated
Kind Regards

The log in details are in the Private Content

DaveThe site is on my local host so will need to share screens!
I have made the logo are disappear & menu stick when scrolling so that has over come the transparent issue.
However there are still boarders on either side of header (logo area) needs to be no boarders.
I also want to have rounded corners on the menu, like http://thecrestbyronbay.com.au/The 2 screen shots are here

Hi Jordan
The site is on my Local Host, so it’s not online.I mainly want to change the font style in Content Elements, Special Heading
Also I want to be able to put the Heading on 2 lines & space them & centralize themEG
Welcome to Surfers Central
Gold Coast ApartmentsHi Ismael
Have I done it right?
I found the menu item ID by right clicking the page, view source & found the menu list.
I changed the Menu item ID of the menu item that I want to the right of the logo & it didn’t make a difference.#menu-item-956 {
margin-right: 100px;
}#header_main_alternate {
z-index: 2;
top: -60px;
border: none;
}This is on my local host so only way to show you is to organise a time & log in with Team Viewer.
Hi Ismael
Thanks however it didn’t work
I change the menu setting to logo centre, menu below &
I just pasted the code into style.css on child theme.Is there anything else?
It is on my local host so I can’t show you, however the menu sticks to centre above the menu, same as before!
Any thoughts anyone
February 21, 2017 at 9:10 am in reply to: header widget to be below logo & menu on mobile view #749826Hi
Thanks for that however still have alignment issues.
When I use
add_action( ‘ava_after_main_container’, ‘enfold_customization_header_widget_area’ );
function enfold_customization_header_widget_area() {
dynamic_sidebar( ‘header’ );
}
The widget stays in the middle, middle of the header area on desktop view. Mobile view is OK it drops below Mobile. Regardless of what style.css I use.Then when I use
add_action( ‘ava_main_header’, ‘enfold_customization_header_widget_area’ );
function enfold_customization_header_widget_area() {
dynamic_sidebar( ‘header’ );
}
The widget sits between the phone no/ social icons & logo on desktop & mobile view. However I am trying to get the header widget to sit to the right of the logo on desk top & then on mobile view have the widget sit either above the logo or below the menu.Just having an issue trying to achieve this.
Cheers
Dave
Fantastic, got it working :)
Do you know if you can add 2 header widgets, I would like to have one on each side of the logo?
I know how to add the header widget but don’t know how to position it so it goes next to the logo.
Any ideas?
Cheers Dave
Hi Mike
If I check the Sticky Header & only have a Transparent Logo then it automatically jams in the default Enfold Logo & so the header & menu stick. I just want the menu to stick!.
The default Enfold Logo isn’t in the Media Library!
Any ideas :)February 18, 2017 at 8:44 am in reply to: header widget to be below logo & menu on mobile view #748799Hi Nikko
Thanks for that, however I don’t understand the w3schools website.Menu still sticks to left & not floating to the center!
I have played with the header widget & can get it to the right of the logo & above menu on desktop view.
However when you start to scroll the header widget is hard on top of the menu (no padding)
Also in mobile view the header widget clashes with the menu & logo.This is a pdf with screen shots – http://www.findnetsolutions.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Header-widget-is-the-Book-Now-form.pdf
What is the code I need to use or change to fix this?
This is what I have so far.
functions.php
add_action( ‘ava_main_header’, ‘enfold_customization_header_widget_area’ );
function enfold_customization_header_widget_area() {
dynamic_sidebar( ‘header’ );
}style.css
#header .widget {
right: 5%;
padding-right: 90;
padding-top: 0;
padding-bottom: 15;
position: absolute;
transform: translate;
z-index: 0;
}February 14, 2017 at 7:37 am in reply to: header widget to be below logo & menu on mobile view #746731Hi Rikard
Ah thanks it seems to be the Z number that was giving me the biggest headache.I have now got the header widget above the logo (please see screen shot https://www.dropbox.com/s/ygwwx3b46x5oodl/Header%20widget%20location.pdf?dl=0 ) how do I get it to sit to the right of the Logo on a PC & still be visible on a mobile device & not clash with the mobile menu?
Also if I set the logo is left & menu below, how can I space the logo off the left margin so I can evenly space the header widget to it’s right.
And how then do I get the menu to be centred, so the header is balanced.
Thanks for your time mate.
Dave
February 12, 2017 at 12:13 pm in reply to: header widget to be below logo & menu on mobile view #745922The website is on my local host, so I cant show you my issue.
I used the code to add a header widget from tutorial – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/adding-a-widget-area-to-the-header/
I have the logo left & menu below.
I have the Header widget so it is to the right in the header, this is the CSS i have used so far
#header .widget {
right: 5%;
padding-top: 40;
position: absolute;
bottom: 0;
transform: translate;
z-index: 0;
}
#header .widget {
text-align:right;
padding:10px 10px;
}
#header_meta {
border: none! important;
}I want the header widget to show to the right of the logo on a desk top & below the logo & menu on smaller screens (tablets & mobiles)
