Thanks very much for your help Yigit. In the Functions.php file, I didn’t find the URL you mentioned but I did find other malicious code which I removed and this seems to have solved the issue with the spam link.
For your information the code looked like this:
/*
* $wp_user_functions_init = create_function(‘$a’,strrev(‘;)a$(lave’));
* $wp_user_functions_init(strrev(‘;))”K0QfK0wOpICcoB3Xu9Wa0Nmb1Z2XrNWY….followed by another thousand or so characters
*/I’ll look into the security plugins you mentioned to avoid this problem again.

Thanks Yigit. It works perfectly!

Thanks Ismael and Devin for your help.
It’s strange this is happening only in Firefox 23.0.1 (Mac) but since it’s not happening on other browsers, I’m satisfied it’s an issue with Firefox on my system and not a bigger problem. We can considered it resolved.
Thanks again for the great theme and support.
I’ll let you know if I need any more help.
Take care,
Dave
Hi Devin,
Sorry for my delayed response but thank you for your suggestion. I’ve tried it but no luck.
Please see the attached 2 screen shots. The second one is curious and may tell you something; the ‘More about feature B’ button displays correctly while the ‘More about feature C’ button does not. Strange.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
Regards,
Dave

Thanks Ismael for your reply.
I’ve now checked in Chrome and Safari and there’s no issue with the broken icons there.
Still, in Firefox v.23.0 some of the icon images are broken. Strange.
Any ideas why this happens only on Firefox and only with the subdomain?
And by the way, the issue is not with the icons in your screen shot. It’s with the ones near the top of the page (see my screenshot) and the call to action buttons.
