Hi Ismael,
thanks a lot – that’s exactly what I was looking for, therefore the topic can be closed.
Kind regards,
ChristianApril 12, 2022 at 10:14 am in reply to: Admin pages load very slowly under current version of enfold #1348068Hi Ismael,
yes, I already did that. Now the dashboard is lightning fast again. At least for now, I don’t use the Layer Slider since there are several other sliders that come with enfold.
Therefore, this topic/ticket can be closed as solved.
Thanks again for the help & kind regards,
ChristianApril 11, 2022 at 3:22 pm in reply to: Admin pages load very slowly under current version of enfold #1347962Hi,
thanks for the advice – the Query Monitor was indeed very helpful. I can now see that there are two cURL timeouts that cause the delay – see screenshot below:
My best guess would be that the requests in question (https://repository.kreaturamedia.com/v4//data/ls-wp/ respectively https://repository.kreaturamedia.com/googlefonts/fonts.json coming from enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/assets/classes/class.ls.remotedata.php) can’t pass our proxy server although I’ve set the proxy in the wp-config.php and the site seems to be able to connect wordpress.org or the WordPress plugin repository. Do you have any more ideas on this?Kind regards,
ChristianApril 7, 2022 at 2:50 pm in reply to: Admin pages load very slowly under current version of enfold #1347567Hey Ismael, thanks for your answer. Here are some of my server configuration settings:
- OS Linux 5.10.0-13-amd64 x86_64
- Webserver Apache/2.4.53 (Debian)
- 10.5.15-MariaDB-0+deb11u1
- cURL-Version 7.74.0
- .htaccess currently includes only the WordPress core rules
- filesystem permissions are ok, all important directories are writable
I can reproduce the delayed response times by uploading enfold 4.9.2.1 to my other WP installations that run on similar server environments. As soon as this version is active, the dashboard slows down. Now since everything works fine on a 4.7.xx version of enfold, it might be a good idea for me to use a slightly older version than the current one. Version 4.9 from Feb. 21st 2022 for example is still quite new and maybe it runs on my environment flawlessly. If you could provide a download link for that one, I’ll try it out and the issue could thus be solved.
Thanks & kind regards,
ChristianHi Sitibus,
have you tried some other, freely available .woff-files? Maybe something went wrong with the transformation from .otf to .woff. If the other fonts are accepted I guess that there’s really a problem with the conversion.Kind regards,
ChristianMay 28, 2015 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Body width too wide – maximum container width is being overriden #451204Just for the record: the issue seems to be caused by a buggy PlugIn called File Away. All tests so far point in that direction, because the site shows up fine only if File Away is deactivated. Therefore, this ticket can be closed. Thanks!

ChristianMay 28, 2015 at 10:46 am in reply to: Body width too wide – maximum container width is being overriden #451074Unfortunately, the site that I’m working on will be used as an Intranet, so I can’t give you access. Today I will deactivate some PlugIns in order to see whether one of these causes the issue. However, I don’t assume that will solve the problem so the last resort would be a restore of a backup.
Hi! The update to enfold 3.1.4 fixed the issue. Thanks for the support! As far as I’m concerned, the ticket can be closed marked as “solved”.
Unfortunately, the site that I’m working on will be used as an Intranet so I can’t give you access to it. However, here’s a screenshot to illustrate the problem. If I move the mouse over a mega menu navigation point, the mega menu opens but with visible dashes “-” for each column. I can reproduce the bug on an independet local test system which only runs enfold on WP 4.2.
Seems to be the same bug as in https://kriesi.at/support/topic/mega-menu-issue-with-wordpress-4-2/

October 28, 2014 at 5:00 pm in reply to: Sidebars not displaying after update to wp4.0 and enfold 3.0.1 #342315@brian7454 – I really didn’t mean to patronize you or anything like that. I just thought that since you’re going to skip the update, there’s at least no urgent need to have that thing fixed right away, that’s all. I’m not interested in any kind of non-problem related or technical discussion, so I’m saying sorry if I hacked you off with my last post. I hope you’ll find the bug that’s causing the trouble.
October 28, 2014 at 11:49 am in reply to: Sidebars not displaying after update to wp4.0 and enfold 3.0.1 #342151Hi,
I’ve found the reason for the vanished sidebar: quite a while ago, I added a section in my child theme’s function.php in order to adjust the sidebar’s width (see this thread). This customisation caused the bug.Since the layout can be determined by the dimensions option in the General Layout section, there is no need for the solution in the functions.php. It doesn’t go together with the new grid system anyway, so I commented the code snippet out of the functions.php and everything looks fine again: the right hand sidebar is there again. YES!
I guess this topic can be closed, since brian7454 stays with an older version and I managed to solve my problem.
Thanks for the answers & kind regards!
October 27, 2014 at 3:44 pm in reply to: Sidebars not displaying after update to wp4.0 and enfold 3.0.1 #341550Hi,
since I’ve updated my site to version 3.0.2 of Enfold, my (right) sidebar is missing, too. I’ve deactivated all plugins, toggled the settings under Enfold > General Styling > Dimensions panel as suggested above, tried several widget and sidebar options as well as other, layout related settings. None of these things made a difference, the sidebar is still gone. In contrast to Fdijk’s observation, my sidebar won’t appear no matter what elements I choose on a page. The only way to get a sidebar is to create a post or a page with only a few characters and place the sidebar on the left. Right hand sidebars won’t show at all. The vertical delimiter is shown and also a div-element called ‘container_wrap container_wrap_first main_color sidebar_right’, but not the content of the sidebar itself.Next thing I did was a downgrade to Version 2.9.2. The sidebar was there again, but the header and the post/blog content were shifted about a hundred pixels to the left and the This means that I can’t use the 3.0.2 nor an older version of Enfold.
Therefore, I second brian7454’s request. Please guys, try to sort out the problem.
I experimented with that #top #s-element too – maybe I forgot the !important directive. Whatever…it works now, issue resolved. Thanks Yigit for your great support!
Best regards,
