Enfold always had this issue. In Kriesi Enfold One Page Restaurant Demo this problem is there. It works fine in desktops but when i open the website in my Ipad, the issue occurs. I think it’s related with the sticky header. When the sticky header is active, the problem is there. And the wrong height value is exactly the menu height. Very strange and i don’t know why Kriesi moderators can’t see this issue. Instead of using emulators, use a real Ipad or mobile and test the Enfold One Page Restaurant Demo and the anchor links.
I still need a solution too…
Yes. I prefer not to create empty sections, but it’s working…
I didn’t find any better solution in Google and Enfold forum.Forgot to say that you have to delete the old color sections IDs once we named the new sections with this IDs…
Yeeeeeeeeesssssssss!!!!! It worked!
Victoria, thank you so much!
I was very worried about this issue. I use Enfold with all my clients.
And I tried so many different CSS for the mobile menu.I think the secret was to discover the right ID/Class/CSS to block the menu.
But I’ve never tried this CSS, “nav.main_menu { display: block !important; }”.Kriesi team, thanks a lot for this solution.
Victoria and Rikard!!!You can close this topic!!!
Best Regards!
Felipe.Hi, Rikard.
I read several posts about this issue and i believe it’s a bug in the new version of Enfold, isn’t it?
I have seen many users with the same problem.
I tried a lot of possible solutions but none of them worked.Any other idea?
Best regards.
Hi, Rikard.
Tried your CSS but didn’t work.
Also tried to disable my plugins and remove the Live Chat code from footer.php but didn’t work.
I’m using this CSS for IpadAir2 (I’ve cleaned it when i tested your CSS):/* ipad air2 horizontal */
@media only screen
and (min-device-width: 768px)
and (max-device-width: 1024px)
and (orientation: landscape)
and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1) {
nav.main_menu { display: none !important; }
#advanced_menu_toggle { display: block !important; }
}I also tried all this CSS to block the mobile menu and make it appear, but nothing happened:
.responsive.html_mobile_menu_tablet .av-burger-menu-main { display: block !important; }
.responsive.html_mobile_menu_tablet #top #header_main > .container .main_menu .av-main-nav > li > a { display: block !important; }
li.av-burger-menu-main.menu-item-avia-special { display: block !important; }Why does the mobile menu appears in portrait mode but don’t in landscape mode on my IpadAir2 and Ipad2?
Hi, Rikard.
Yes, i want.
I also tested in my Ipad (old one) and the mobile menu is still not showing.My concern is if I will always have this problem on my other websites, cause I always use Enfold theme in them.
Or maybe it’s a problem of wrong configuration in some place of mine.
Do i need to insert some CSS in all of them?This Enfold new version has an new area called “Main Menu”.
I don’t know if i’m doing something wrong there.So, Rikard, I would like the mobile menu to appear for all resolutions equal or below the ipad 2 retina.
And, man… thanks a lot for this help.
You guys are great and that’s one of the reasons why I always use Enfold.Best regards,
Felipe.Rikard, I’m using a lot of Quick CSS in my website.
Do you thing that could be some CSS causing this problem?
Do you want to see all the CSS i’m using or you already have access to it?Best regards,
Felipe.Thanks for the help, Rikard.
I tried Chrome and the mobile menu is still not showing on it.
But i tried the Ipad Chrome. In my desktop browsers everything is ok, with Safari or Chrome.I forgot to say that i’m using Live Chat plugin and to use it, i had to write a code in footer.php file.
I’m also using an Enfold child page, Yoast SEO, Contact Form7 and WordPress Importer plugins.A month ago, everything was ok with the website and the mobile menu.
This problem appeared after i have uploaded the test website into the real domain.
I will uninstall all plugins and remove the code from footer.php to see if everything goes fine again.February 25, 2017 at 8:01 pm in reply to: Vertical images are not occupying the entire width on masonry gallery #751820Thanks, Mike.
I ill research it and try to solve with css and larger vertical images.February 25, 2017 at 7:01 pm in reply to: Vertical images are not occupying the entire width on masonry gallery #751802If you look at the print screen i’ve attached, you’ll see that all vertical images are not occupying the whole horizontal space in the masonry grid. But this happens only when i visit the website on an Imac screen. On my macbook, ipad and iphone, the images have the full width. When i click the image, it increases a little. Have you seen the website through an imac screen or another computer with a larger screen?
February 25, 2017 at 3:22 am in reply to: Vertical images are not occupying the entire width on masonry gallery #751683Hi, Jordan.
Every vertical image has more than 1.000 pixels width.
I made a print screen of the masonry grid and noticed that the horizontal images have 616 pixels width on the screen (according to Photoshop) and they occupy the full width. Why don’t the vertical images, that have more than 616 pixels wide are not being displayed in full width?
Do i have to setup any special CSS for fix it?Thanks!
Hi, Rikard.
No. I just want to know one example, because I don’t know the options I could use.
I never installed this Theme Options.
Is there any property that could improve my website?
Could you give me one good example?January 23, 2017 at 7:34 pm in reply to: Is there a place where the H1 tag is automatically inserted? #737395Hi, Rikard.
Thanks for the quick reply.I mean anywhere, on a blog post title or a page.
The H1 tag is very important for SEO purposes.
If I don’t use any H1 tag on my titles, pages or blog, do Enfold automatically uses the H1 tag anywhere?
For example, let’s say that the default Enfold tag for fullscreen sliders caption is H2, but i can use the H3 tag for it, if I want.
Or, there is no default tag for sliders titles, unless i use one.January 23, 2017 at 4:53 am in reply to: Enfold child – installing after the site has been worked on. #737079That’s an excellent question… I have some websites with no child pages and would like to know the steps to create a child page without losing any settings created. What files do i have to transfer from my Enfold folder to my Enfold Child folder?
