Hi!
Yes I have. Renaming the file (or removing it) from my child theme doesn’t affect my issue with the footer however.I had a custom footer.php in my child theme’s root; I think we could go with the standard code coming with the theme instead. But when I rename my child theme’s footer.php to something like footer-old.php or even removing it completely from the child’s folder, the footer completely disappears.
March 23, 2021 at 11:05 am in reply to: How to remove "Home" from the permalink of the front page #1289817Please elaborate how that would help me. I want https://www.example.com to be the preferred URL, not https://www.example.com/home. I get that adding the canonical URL on /home could help me, but I don’t understand why I _need_ to do this. I guess it has to do with how Enfold works? Furthermore, this will not help me in this case since the theme has added “<link rel=’canonical’ href=’https://www.example.com/home’>” to my https://www.example.com page.
March 12, 2021 at 7:12 pm in reply to: How to remove "Home" from the permalink of the front page #1287844I feel the need of opening this thread again since I am facing the same issue as the thread creator. So, I guess either Enfold or WordPress adds a path to the URL of my homepage so that it says “https://www.example.com/home”. On top of that, it adds “<link rel=’canonical’ href=’https://www.example.com/home’>” to that single page, giving me an SEO error since there’s no “/home” page in my sitemap.
First and foremost, I need to remove the canonical from that page. But I guess I would need to remove the “/home” from the homepage URL also.
I am using the latest version of WordPress, Enfold and all other plugins. I do use Yoast as a SEO plugin but there are no settings added by me or the plugin that would give this effect.
Wait what? So I have to choose if I want images for variation products to work properly _or_ if I want the lightbox functionality to work at all for products with multiple images?
This is not a valid solution Victoria since it solves one problem, but creates another. Using the “WooCommerce 3.0 product gallery” feature makes product images added to the gallery not clickable. What I want is any of the two options when choosing product gallery to work with variations AND multiple images of products in the product image gallery.
Here is another explaining the issue (the solution in this thread doesn’t work for me).:
This thread is touching the problem, but it seems that we have to choose between plague or cholera?
This reply has been marked as private.Hey Nikko, the code you provided doesn’t work for me. Images are still a lot bigger than the images I upload. Is there anything else I can do?
