    Hi Ismael,

I have made a test form that includes an ‘Other’ option.

Please see form and updated login credentials below.

    Thanks.

I will investigate further with Yoast support and other plugin options, but nonetheless ‘Social Share Buttons’ are a content element of the Enfold theme, and they must be extracting the source of the image they use when sharing from somewhere as well as cropping these to particular dimensions.

Could you please let me know where it is referencing these images from and the dimensions it will be cropping them to.

    Thanks.

in reply to: Optimal featured image size for sharing on Facebook #553728

I currently use that plugin, but I also use the ‘Social Share Buttons’ content element that I believe extracts the relevant image from a different source.

I wish to define this image, which I believe is done so as the ‘Featured Image’. Is this correct, and if not, where do I define this picture (sometimes it takes a different image from the page instead of the image i specify as the Featured Image).

And what are the dimensions this image needs to be?

    Thanks.

    Please disregard.

    I apologize.

The page was in my Trash.

    Hi Elliott,

The form can be seen on the URL below.
The ‘Other’ option is only available for questions later in the form so it may take a while to get to them.

It is created in a plugin called Gravity Forms.

I believe you only wanted to see the actual form however if you wanted access to the WP panel please also see details below.

    Thanks.

in reply to: General Styling – border and font changes #551382

Thanks Elliott. I did actually manage to find the border and font color setting in General Settings but not the ability to change the actual font, which looks like it’s defaulted to Arial. Is it possible to change this?

    Thanks.

Ha! I never know whether to be happy or concerned when these problems go away without having actually done anything.

Anyways, looks like it’s all good for now. Thanks!

in reply to: Form not accepting changes #551227

    I’ll let them know that.
I haven’t disabled CloudFlare email protection.
I want to confirm that this is what is causing the problem and even then I am not sure that I want to disable it as it is an important service.

    Hi Josue,

I received this reply for the CloudFlare Support:

    =============

    Hi,

I retrieved the HTML code for /contact/ page from CloudFlare and also directly from the origin server. I am not seeing any difference in the content.

    $ curl -s padlifter.com/contact/ > cf.html
    $ curl -s –resolve padlifter.com:80:184.168.47.225 padlifter.com/contact/ > direct.html
    $ diff cf.html direct.html
Are you able to share the portion of HTML code that is being modified by CloudFlare?

    =============

Could you please tell me the portion of HTML code they are asking for?

    Thanks,
    Evian

    Hi Yigit,

    I managed to fix it.

    Thank you.

in reply to: Form not accepting changes #549545

    Hi Josue,

I am using the CDN Cloudflare, which I believe hides the email address to prevent spam, as well as assists the website’s page load time with their distribution of global host servers.

I would be reluctant to stop using this, and also surprised if the Contact Form were not compatible was such a service as I imagine this is fairly common.

If this is the issue, can you recommend a work-around?

    Thanks.

in reply to: Footer font color not updating #548474

    Thanks Basilis.

    Worked great!

I was still keen to edit the font color of the title however could not see anywhere where this was possible, and all my previous attempts have failed. Can you let me know where I am able to specify a color change for this?

    Thanks.

in reply to: Footer font color not updating #548248

    Please see Private Content.

Please can you also let me know if its possible to remove the date / time-stamp data underneath the blog post topic too.

    Thank you.

    Please see below.

in reply to: Removed image keeps displaying #547826

    Thanks Basilis,

I’ve actually used the Advanced layout builder debugger which you recommended I add in a different support ticket to manually delete the extra code that was still referencing the image.

Not sure why it remained but now its removed.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I have activated debug mode in order to display shortcodes and can see all of the code on the page. I have also copied this code to a new test page and it simply displays the exact same thing that it displayed on the primary page with the problem.

I did a Ctrl+F to try find the text “Send us mail” in the code, however it could not be found. I also could not see anything in the code that set the display to ‘Dark Transparent’.

Please advise how I am able to correct this error.

    Thanks.

    Hi Rikard,

I am unfortunately not as technical as I wish I were. I have looked at the documentation and it talks about adding to child theme functions.php

I am not familiar with what this means or how to do that.

Could you please do that using the temporary admin login details I provided and I will pick things up from there?

    Thank you.

in reply to: Form not accepting changes #547419

    Hi Rikard,

I did what you recommended however the problem remained.

in reply to: icon font not loading #543130

Please correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I am aware the site is not currently hosted, nor is it live.

It is simply still in development in WP which is why I am struggling to understand the request for doing things that as far as I can understand can only be done if the site were currently being hosted.

If I am incorrect in my understanding of this, then please advise how I am able to contact my hosting provider in the absence of the site currently being hosted?

in reply to: icon font not loading #543111

Can you please advise how I am able to fix this problem.

in reply to: icon font not loading #543045

I select the Fontello icons I want to add. Then I download a zip file containing those icons. Then I upload that zip file to WP. Then I select that file to the Iconfont Manager in Enfold Theme Options.

It is the exact same process that I followed when it worked previously, and now it does not, displaying Chinese letter characters instead of the selected icons.

I do not know what you mean by working locally? The site is being built out on WP and is not yet hosted or live.

in reply to: icon font not loading #543036

The site is not live yet. I am still designing it in WP. As far as I understand it is still being hosted by WP until I move it over to my hosting company.

Is there no other solution to the Fontello issue? This seems like a very roundabout way of solving what I imagine is quite a simple problem?

    Hi Yigit,

I’m happy to start a new thread, but part of the problem is I do not know what my FTP credentials are? I am not familiar with FileZilla or how to use it. I do not know how to connect it to my website? My understanding was that all content was stored in the cloud via WordPress? If there is something I need to do please can you explain what that is.

    Thanks.

in reply to: icon font not loading #543010

    Sorry, this is very unclear.

All I am trying to do is have the Fontello icons I uploaded load.

It is very unclear what I am supposed to do in FileZilla now that I’ve downloaded it.

    Please can you explain.

in reply to: icon font not loading #542998

Sorry Yigit – I am new to this. Where do I find the WordPres installation? Is this in the admin panel?
