August 16, 2016 at 9:36 pm in reply to: Safari is not my friend, pesky icons and graphics with zooming… #673400
Just to clarify instead of the other code or with the other code?
It mostly happens on IPhones and does not occur on other devices.
August 15, 2016 at 9:03 pm in reply to: Safari is not my friend, pesky icons and graphics with zooming… #672870A mock up would not really help. The icons need to be centered on the top of the boxes on all types of browsers.
I am grateful for your help. You have helped me a ton in the course of editing this website.
These icons in particular have been a thorn in my side. They are not centering no matter what I do. So if you look at the Who We Serve on a desktop and on mobile browser as well as an ipad.
The top box and the two boxes below with icons on top. on desktop the icon is close to center. But on all other browsers not even. And when you look at it on a phone the first box icon is off center to the left and the other two are off center to the right. It looks terrible.
I have tried several things to try to get them to align and I am pretty frustrated and that is why I asked for help.
I am so sorry I was tired when I wrote that message. Steadfast Real Estate Advisors
August 10, 2016 at 1:50 am in reply to: Safari is not my friend, pesky icons and graphics with zooming… #670566So the top icon is now mostly centered but the two below it are not even close on all browsers.. I know for mobile phones I will have to make a few minor adjustments to the percentages because all three are off on mobile phones. I just want to get a little closer first.
should I separate .iconbox_icon ?
I had already tried making the logo larger but he hated how the logo looked bigger. Any other ideas?
Thank you for the help so far.
August 5, 2016 at 6:29 am in reply to: Safari is not my friend, pesky icons and graphics with zooming… #668845btw on regular mobile when in landscape the icons on the who we serve page are not centered either. :) I am sort of blah about it. lol
July 22, 2016 at 8:01 pm in reply to: Using iconbox and centering the icon with three different size boxes #664055Thank you so much Vinay! That was perfect. I made a couple adjustments and now it looks great. I am so grateful for your help.

Thanks for answering my questions. :)
So does that mean its a brand new filter for each font you want to add?
Thank you for your help. So what happens if I want more than one type of Roboto font? For example I want to add Regular Roboto to the content too.
Thanks again for your help
Thought I sent this and I may have but my internets been acting up.
June 15, 2016 at 4:05 am in reply to: Footer Socket Copyright and footer menu links are offset #648344It still does not show in portrait mode and the links just squish all funky in landscape mode. On the iPad the links are offset below the copyright line.
I could not get my phone to screenshot for some reason so when I was trying it by squishing the browser it did the same thing. http://prntscr.com/bgj464

June 9, 2016 at 12:22 am in reply to: Footer Socket Copyright and footer menu links are offset #645154Ah Vinay as always coming up with great solutions! That did the trick.
I do have another question. Do you know why those links are not showing on mobile and is there a way to show them?
June 8, 2016 at 7:14 pm in reply to: Footer Socket Copyright and footer menu links are offset #645007There is no footer on the main page so here is a secondary page. Who We Serve Page
June 2, 2016 at 1:18 am in reply to: Footer and Enfold MailChimp Newsletter Widget: Horizontal and Responsive #641769Thank you again Vinay for all your help we ended up moving it to above the actual footer on some pages instead. LOL and I used the Mailchimp for WordPress Plugin and a tutorial from here to make that form. :D
Thanks again for all your help.
I did as you asked and I cleared my browser cache and it still is doing it on my Note 4 in portrait mode. We also tested it on a iphone. It still was doing the same thing.
So I was looking at the toggle/accordion box and it was doing what we needed for these boxes. So I made some css experiments and finally got something so its at least decent looking across all browsers/sizes and squishing.
This was the code for it and even though it says div there I used spans around my actual special headings.
div .heading-border{ border-style: solid; border-width:2px; padding: 5px; border-color: #666666; text-shadow: 1px 1px 5px #ffffff !important; } div .heading-border2{ border-style: solid; border-width:2px; padding: 5px; border-color: #FFFFFF; box-shadow: 1px 1px 5px #1e4371 !important; } @media only screen and (max-width:1064px) and (min-width: 320px) { div .heading-border{ border-style: solid; border-width:2px; padding: 5px; border-color: #666666; text-shadow: 1px 1px 5px #ffffff !important; width: 100%; float: left; display: block; margin: 0 0 -2px 0; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: -2px; margin-left: 0px; padding-bottom: 1px; overflow: hidden; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden; position: relative; } div .heading-border2{ border-style: solid; border-width:2px; padding: 5px; border-color: #FFFFFF; box-shadow: 1px 1px 5px #1e4371 !important; width: 100%; /*float: left;*/ display: block; margin: 0 0 -2px 0; margin-top: 0px; margin-right::0px; margin-bottom: -2px; margin-left: 0px; padding-bottom: 1px; overflow: hidden; overflow-x: hidden; overflow-y: hidden; position: relative; } } @media only screen and (max-width: 320px) { .av-special-heading-tag { font-size: 2.5vh !important; } }
Thank you for trying to help I appreciate it.

June 1, 2016 at 2:43 am in reply to: Two forms one page only one form is missing two inputs. #641138RobertDawes you probably should make your own thread.
Ismael YES I have tried it on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which is a fairly large phone and it still does that on my phone on the services page and the who we serve page. They are fairly longer headers too.
May 30, 2016 at 4:32 pm in reply to: Two forms one page only one form is missing two inputs. #640478You can use this one.
Here you go
That helps but it looks a bit silly floating all the way to the left while the rest of the content is centered:
Any other ideas?
Certainly
on this page: http://srea.co/about/ Its toward the bottom and if you shrink the width of the browser you can see what it does.
We also did it on these two pages:

May 23, 2016 at 10:46 pm in reply to: Footer and Enfold MailChimp Newsletter Widget: Horizontal and Responsive #637119Fantastic Vinay. I apologize for not getting back sooner but I have been busy.
So ideally we do not want the Email Address Label at all. But getting rid of the label seems to cause the input box to slide up and if I put the title as the label when you squish the browser the input box goes down (because STAY UP TO DATE WITH SREA & INDUSTRY NEWS is so long) but the button stays in place.
Using the label as the title http://prntscr.com/b7lk0z
Taking the label out all together and using the widget title: http://prntscr.com/b7lkykAny suggestions for that?
May 12, 2016 at 5:32 pm in reply to: Footer and Enfold MailChimp Newsletter Widget: Horizontal and Responsive #631481We are getting a lot closer.
Is there anyway to prevent this from happening when you squish the browser?
Because that offset is also how it looks on tablets.
Is there a way to hide the * in Email Address label?
Thanks again.
Thank you very much this was perfect!
May 5, 2016 at 6:32 pm in reply to: Footer and Enfold MailChimp Newsletter Widget: Horizontal and Responsive #627944Certainly. Sorry if I seemed like I was pressuring you to get it done NOW. I was just trying to communicate the difficulty I noticed of forms being messed up with some of the changes. It was a concern of they guy I am doing the work for. :) Once again thanks for all your help Vinnie.
May 4, 2016 at 9:15 pm in reply to: Footer and Enfold MailChimp Newsletter Widget: Horizontal and Responsive #627502Please note I took out the CSS you put in for the enfold-test because it was affecting the contact page
Is it possible to do what we want to do with the footer mailchimp widget form without affecting the contact page and all the other forms on the website?

May 4, 2016 at 7:46 am in reply to: Footer and Enfold MailChimp Newsletter Widget: Horizontal and Responsive #626955Ok I removed all the custom stuff I had added for the widget. However I left the part for customizing the widths for the three columns. Feel free to adjust that as needed.
/*Custom Footer*/ #footer .flex_column.av_one_third:nth-child(1) { width: 20%; } #footer .flex_column.av_one_third:nth-child(2) { width: 20%; } #footer .flex_column.av_one_third:nth-child(3) { width: 48%; position: relative; }
here are the mock ups I was given originally
Here is an example of the horizontal subscription http://prntscr.com/b01c9r
Here is a scanned drawing of what the footer was to look like with the sub made horizontal. http://prntscr.com/b01csoPlease keep in mind the things I mentioned in my last post about squishing/resizing desktop/laptop browser screens as well as what I said about mobile too.
I have removed my custom CSS for the widget.
You have no idea how much I appreciate your patience and help in this. This footer has been the bane of my existence for entirely too long. :D
