Hi Victoria,
Thanks for the pointing me in the right direction!
Got it fixed.
The plugin you mentioned was actually the LayerSlider itself.
Thanks again! Feel free to close this topic.

Eric.Hi Ismael,
I’ve used the custom CSS you provided on the other thread.
.avia_loading_icon { display: none !important; }}
Flushed the cache, used incognito mode and even turned off the cache, it didn’t work, unfortunately.
Best regards,
Eric.Hi Nikko,
As per your suggestion, I disabled the plugins one by one and found that SecuPress was the cause.
“Stop user and author enumeration” was enabled in one of the many options, hence causing the redirect.
Finally, got it fixed!

Eric.Hi Rikard,
Tried renaming the config-slider folder to something else before deleting it completely and it broke the site.
So, I just replaced the LayerSlider plugin folder with the updated version and it works. I guess I’ll do that for future updates for now.
However, it’ll be great if updates could be performed on the WordPress dashboard itself.
Nonetheless, thank you for the advice Rikard. Appreciate it.

Eric.Hi Rikard,
Does deregistering it removes the file? Or it just deactivates the plugin?
I’m keen to remove the entire folder as a whole from the themes folder and re-installing it under the plugins folder.

Eric.Hi Yigit,
Thanks for pointing out that the “Add to Cart” function was not working. I’ve disabled the plugin that was causing the issue until I can find a fix for that.
Also, I’ve disabled all the plugins as you’ve suggested and I realized one of the plugins which I’ve been using for a while now (which I updated recently) was causing the issue. I’ve removed it and it’s all good now.
Thanks again for the help!

Eric.Hi Rikard,
Finally got it fixed.
It seems like one of the cache plugins have been causing the issue ever since I updated WooCommerce. Had to deactivate all the plugins one by one to pinpoint the issue.
Thanks for the advice (for pointing me to the right direction) & help!

Eric.Hi Rikard,
Thank you for your input. By any chance, do you have an idea where should I be looking at to zoom in into the error?
Currently, it feels like I’m looking for a needle in a haystack. Don’t even know which area I should be looking at.
Best regards,
Eric.Hi Yigit,
I’ve made some custom changes to the theme through the Quick CSS but nothing major. I’ve tried removing all of them, cleared the cache but the issue persisted.
Also, I didn’t make any changes to the WooCommerce files. I was using Woocommerce 2.5.5 prior to this and there was no issue with it. Only when I updated it recently, this issue came about.
If there’s no issue on your local installation, then I believe there are some backend issues on my end then, though I can’t figure out what is the cause of it.
Best regards,
Eric.Hi Rikard,
Here’s the site.
You can trigger the error by simply adding any item to the cart, then remove the item using the (x) or reducing the cart item to 0 and click on the “Update cart” button.
Best regards,
Eric.
