How do I send you a screenshot? :/
Thanks for the quick reply. However I’m still seeing it listed twice. This is for the blog categories.
Perfect. Thank you! You can close this ticket.
ErinThis is happening on another website that I’m doing using the Enfold theme. I just tried adding the code to the htaccess file for that site and it’s still not working for me. I have the most up to date version of Enfold running on both sites. Is there a fix for this? Thank you.

June 3, 2020 at 2:28 pm in reply to: Custom settings removed after Google Maps API key added #1219071Thanks for the response, Rikard. We now believe the issue was with our hosting server. Thanks for your help, though :)
I added the code but I’m still getting a box instead of an icon. I have the LinkedIn social profile in the menu on the homepage and you’ll see it’s not the LinkedIn logo but a box. Also, my scroll up arrows are still boxes. Anything else I can try? https://danieldipalmaphotography.com/
Thanks!
If you scroll down under Key markets, this is the area where we’d like the caption to appear at the bottom and centered: http://mtgstaging.m-t-g.com/website/
Thank you!
I added to my htaccess file and I’m still not seeing social icons. Also, the arrow button for the page scroll up feature is also a square. I tried adding it after #End WordPress and it broke my site. This is what I have:
# BEGIN GD-SSL
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^(.+)$
RewriteCond %{SERVER_NAME} ^danieldipalmaphotography\.com$ [OR]
RewriteCond %{SERVER_NAME} ^x83\.a6b\.myftpupload\.com$
RewriteRule .* https://%{SERVER_NAME}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
Header add Strict-Transport-Security “max-age=300”
Header always set Content-Security-Policy “upgrade-insecure-requests”
</IfModule>
# END GD-SSL# BEGIN WordPress
# The directives (lines) betweenBEGIN WordPress
andEND WordPress
are
# dynamically generated, and should only be modified via WordPress filters.
# Any changes to the directives between these markers will be overwritten.
# END WordPressWhere do I add
<FilesMatch “.(ttf|otf|woff)$”>
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin “*”
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>Thanks!
Thank you Victoria! I removed a couple empty boxes from the backend of the page earlier and it somehow resolved the problem. The issue has been resolved. Thanks for looking!
I do have access over FTP. I was told by my hosting provider to do the Apache fix because I have a Managed WordPress website. I’ll try to locate and update the htaccess file. Thank you!
I tried adding the code to my wp-config file and the site broke. How should I add it? I added it to the bottom of the existing code but that’s apparently wrong. Thanks!
Also, I don’t have easy access to these files. The site is a Managed WordPress site and it’s hard to get access to editing . Is there any other fix or is this it?
Thanks!
ErinThank you. I saw this before but I thought the issue was fixed with the newer versions of Enfold. I use this theme often with clients and was surprised to see it was back.
It’s supposed to be pulling the articles in as a feed (https://www.electroverge.com/category/suppliers) which it IS doing. The only problem is the featured images from the articles (which are set to make the first image in a post the featured image) is the part that’s not working. It’s most likely an issue on the plugin’s end.I just wondered if this might have come up at some point and, if so, if there was a possible fix. Thanks!
The posts are being pulled from another WordPress blog using the plugin WPeMatico.
I’m sorry. Is this what you need? https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-title-marquee-scroll/
Sorry. I’ve added it to this section: http://mtgstaging.m-t-g.com/website/#marquee-scroll
Here is a link to the old site where the plugin is working properly (The red banner that says Latest News.) I copied the settings over to the new site, however it is not showing up wither in the footer or as code on the page.
This is the site in progress: http://mtgstaging.m-t-g.com/website. Thank you!
Something like that. I have a lot of text that would be on the dark side. I didn’t know if you had an option where the image flips and turns into a box with text in it. But this might work. Thanks!
Thanks. I just wanted to double check before I edit the functions.php file that we’re talking about the same thing. I want to do what I’ve highlighted in a white box in the image below. Does your instructions help me to make this happen? Thanks :)
In case you couldn’t view it, the link is in the private content section.

I’ve decided to not use the Layer Slider so I can close this topic. Thanks!
I don’t want to register it. It’s just not working because it’s outdated and it’s not letting me update the plugin since it’s not registered. The slider in the demo didn’t import when I did the demo import and I was hoping to use it as a base to customize the homepage slider for my own site. I tried importing a slider but that’s where I ran into the issue of not being able to because the plugin isn’t registered. Not sure why the demo slider didn’t import though.
However I did what you said so maybe you’ll be able to see the CSS this time. Thank you!!
I did that. It worked at first but the slider wasn’t full screen. I went into the original website to match up the settings and saw in the Full Size slider setting option, “Enable full screen” was checked. I did the same for the slider on the tradeprintus.com site and it’s back to being very big again. It’s not matching the other slider though every detail from the original slider to the new one I’m putting together matches perfectly.
Are you saying I need to do both of these? I don’t know Apache versus IIS7. Also, why is this now happening? I haven’t had an issue with the Enfold theme before the recent WordPress update. Seems like since WP updated, the Enfold theme is having these issues.
FTP worked. Thank you!
Thanks Rikard. This isn’t working for me. I tried updating the file in the Theme Editor in the WordPress Dashboard and it said the changes were not saved. I then tried to update the file via the File Manager on my hosting account and I got the same message. I noticed in the thread it was said that this fix would be in the next theme update release. Any idea when that might be? Or if you have another suggestion, just let me know. I use the Enfold theme on most every client site I do so I’m hoping I don’t continue to run into this issue as I update other websites.
Thanks!
