Hi Rikard,
Thanks for your reply!
I saw in my email notice that you first changed .widget, later you’ve changed that to #newsbox-5. Using them both gives me almost the solution. The .widget for the box al the way below. By giving it an padding 1px, it goed down for 20px. I don’t know how, but that works. But I don’t want it to be 20px, but just 2 or 3 px less. Any ideas?
We’re almost there.
Regards,
Erwin
Found it!!
Off course a stupid mistake of my self!!!
Just placed a ] instead of a }
This solves most of my mentioned problems. Still having trouble with the last case I’d mentioned above.
On my site you can see in the sidebar that there is 20px to much space between the purple and the first green block. At the bottom of the sidebar there has to be the same 20px between the last green and the white block.
Bin trying a lot of id’s and classes, but it won’t work so far.
Does someone knows how to fix this?
Regards,
Erwin
Hi Andy,
That works great! Thank you!

Hi,
After I’ve changed the line-height of .entry-content-wrapper .post-title, It looks alright to me.
Thank you for thinking with me.

Hi Rikard,
Thank you for your reply!
But the font-color wasn’t the issue. I want the top padding of the title in the grey tab to be the same. I’m not getting it done to change the post title top padding.

Hi Ismael,
The second topic about firefox did work indeed. Thank you!
The first one, when I wrote the topic the layout was a bit different as when you looked at it. In the mean while, I was testing a top menu slider, for that I adjusted the height and colour of .entry-content-header. Changing this also changed the layout of the tab in uncategorized, not as I wanted, but different. At this moment I’ve changed it back to origin and back. Now you can see what I mean, it’s about the top-paading above the title of the post. See also this image
. The right one is how I ould like it. The left one how it is displayed right now as post title.Regards,
Erwin

Hi Ismael,
Thanks for your reply.
In te mean while I had already disabled the title and breadcrumbs, just as you suggested. Now I can style the “tabs” as I like them. You can see that on http://bit.ly/1Bt32Rd That’s the way it should be. I’ve hardcoded them into a text-block together with the content of block, perhaps you have better suggestions?
As I look at ‘Uncategorized’ the tap is slightly different. There has been a piece cut of on the top of it. I have tried to fiddle around with margins and paddings, but it doesn’t change a thing of the cut of piece.
Another thing is, my website looks good on my mac on chrome and safari, but it doesn’t look good on firefox, the content is much smaller, with is about 910px vs 1210px, any ideas about that? Also on a pc it’s no good, not in ie, ff or opera.

Hi Ismael,
That works, but…. when I apply this code, the slider on the front page is cut of at the top and bottom. Somehow there is a padding or margin applied. This looks really terrible. As my site is a live site, I’ve put it back so that there is no border at all. I will make a copy of the site for testing, after that I report back so it is viewable.
Regards,
ErwinHello Josue,
When I delete the added css-code, The borders are back. On some pages its shown right, on some not. On this screenshot you can see how it should be http://awesomescreenshot.com/0bb3xsd601on blog related pages, there is also a border at the bottom of the page,on some pages this same border is placed above the content. You can see a right page at http://bit.ly/1vx7WJR and a wrong one at http://bit.ly/1Cu2wnZ
Where is the difference in editing, coding or….?
Regards,
Erwin
Hey Yirgit,
That removes the border, that part went well allreay ;). I would like a border at the bottom of the wrapper..
Suggestions?
Regards,
Erwin
That’s coreect, as the site is live I had disabled the whole border. It’s bac again now, only disabled the border at the homepag because it was reaaly obvious a fault.
What I mean is this http://awesomescreenshot.com/0e33xgtg29
That came from the same page as the url mentioned before is pointing at.Thanks so far!
Regards,
Erwin
Hi Elliot,
That should make sense, but I believe that the border shown at the top of the wrapper, is the border-bottom, so there’s something else wrong. When I add a border-bottom it’s also shown at the top. It looks like the content isn’t in the wrapper.
Hi Elliot,
That indeed removed the border. In the site before the update I had a border at the bottom. I was using this css-code.
.entry-content-wrapper {border-bottom: 1px solid ;margin-bottom:0px;padding-bottom:5px;}
Why doesn’t this work anymore? I would like it back if possible.
Regards,
Erwin
Hi Josue,
Indeed, that did the trick, that you already know. And off course a cild theme doesn’t get updated ;).
Thanks!

Thanks for your assistance.
I ended up with disabling all the pliugins, but this didn’t help either. What else could go wrong?

Hi,
I agree that its important to update plugins also. When I update wordpress I also update my plugins immediately.
But thanks for the tip!

Hi,
I’ve disabled a view plugins at first and indeed the avia builder is working again. Nailed it doen to “display widgets”, I thought. But after I’ve enabled this one again, and with that all plugins are eneabled again, the avia builder still works. sometimes….
Thanks!
Hi,
I’m having the same problem, the avia builder doesn’t work. I have installed the theme 3 times, eveything else does work, in the optionspanel is says version 2.9.2.
See it at here.
Sorry for posting so fast. I’ve installed wordpress and enfold againa and the settings are back. So this topic is solved.
Hi Josue,
Thank you. As far as I can see everything is ok now. Had to add #top .main_color .sidebar b this selector for the pink titles. But that was easy to fix for me.
Thank you again for the excellent support.

Erwin
Hey Josue,
I’ve tried it, nothing changes. Other suggestions?

Hi,
Thought that it was done….. When I enter the pages with sidebars, there used font-sizes are overwritten, the same as with the links in the content. So I tried to do the same trick as with the links. But I can’t find the right div or class to put in.
Do you know which one I need?
You can see the sidabar at The pink titles are to big and the names aligned to the right are to big. When I change the .main_color part, they both are corrected and fine. But hten the entry-titles are also small
Hey Josue,
That solved it!
Thanks!
Regards
ErwinHey Josue,
That doesn’t work for me.
When I edit the code like this:
.main_color a, .main_color .widget_first, .main_color b, .main_color b a, .main_color strong a, .main_color #js_sort_items a:hover, .main_color #js_sort_items a.active_sort, .main_color .av-sort-by-term a.active_sort, .main_color .special_amp, .main_color .taglist a.activeFilter, .main_color #commentform .required, #top .main_color .av-no-color.av-icon-style-border a.av-icon-char { color: #E82A8C;font-size:20px!important; }I have the titles as I want them to be, but it also enlarges every text-link in my content. And thats not as I want it. Is it easier to change the code for the links?

Erwin

Sorry, had that planned, but… Here it is.
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the great support!
Regards,
ErwinHello,
Now I have made a second page template. In this second one I leave the include of the sidebar as it is and assign it to the pages where I want it. In the original page template I have deleted the sidebar. So each automatic generated page doesn’t have a sidebar. For so far this works.
But, the sidebar isn’t showed, but the space for it is reserved including a vertical border. I see that the content div has a width of nine in the grid, the pages without sidebar are having a width of twelve. How can I change this width?
See my page here
Regards
ErwinUpdate: the page is now fullwidth, only thing left is the border at the right. I can’t just edit the css-property because it is shown at other pages. Which class do I have to add to get rid of this border?

Erwin-

Hi Günter,
That did the trick. Somehow there was a ” where it didn’t belong. Deleting this, solves my problem.
Thanks to you all for thinking with me!
