Hey Ismael,
i found the problem. The Autoptimize Plugin breaks the Layout. Everything is fine again, if the plugin is deactivated. My next step is to follow the trouble shooting guidelines. I will report the results.
Best regards, Jochen
ThanX!
@milkboy31 i cann not confirm that your piece of cs fixes the bug. My video background is still broken.
Hi enfold team,
I have set up a test page to demonstrate the effect. I used a color section and set the min height off the section to 100% of Browser window height. Usually the video stretches to 100% of the window width and height. It dos not, when you expand the window to a width greater than approximately 1000px. It seems that there is a correlation between the width of the browser window and the min min height of the color section. This occurs since the update to enfold 4.2.
kind regards, Jochen

Hey Rikard,
thank you for your answer.
This makes cler, that i have to build a workaround with seperate pages for the portfolio categories.
This ist not nice, because enfold generates these category pages by default.
Ist it possible to prevent, that enfold generates this portfolio category pages?Best regards,
JochenHi,
thank you for your patience and your advice. This fixed the issue.
It would be helpful, if this fix will be part of upcoming releases …Best regards, Jochen
Hi @Ismael,
Thanks for caring.
no, i didn`t remove the site. In the meantime i switched the site to it´s final domain https://jochen-sauvant.de/
Best regards,
JochenHi,
Thanks for your hint @foveaworks. Unfortunately this does not fix the issue.
Due to your hint i have tested the behaviour of the header with different settings.
Remarkable is, that the offset changes with the Header size, which i have set to “custom pixel value”.Maybe this is a track to follow …
Best regards, Jochen
Hi,
i have cleared the browser cache on my own machines and tested the fix with
win10 + Chrome + Firefox + Edge
OSX + SafariI have tested it with my machine in the office
Win7 + Firefox + IEI have asked three fellows to test the site.
In every case the offset persisted.
I am aware, that you are looking hard to find a fix and I very much appreciate your efforts.
If there is anything i can do to support, please let me know.Best regards, Jochen
Hi,
thank you for your support. The cache is disabled for a longer time. If i remember correct , since we are looking for the fix.kind regards,
JochenHi,
i’ve tested your code again with values between 100 and 200.
I did not remark any changes.
The cache is deactiveted for the whole network.
For testing purposes i deactivated all plugins for the network and the offset remains.I’m sorry about this annoying report …
Please let me know, if i can support your efforts!Best regards,
JochenHi,
thank you for your efforts.
I inserted the code to the functions.php of the child theme and the offset remains unaffected even when i increased the value up to 800.
The behavior of your _test-page remains as well. The menu works as long as you leave the scroll arrows untouched.
I left the additional code in the functions.php of the child theme.
Best regards,
JochenHi,
below you’ll find the required credentials

JochenHi,
deactivating all Plugins is critical, because it affects the whole network. But i did it again.Unfortunately without any improvements.
After that i hav taken a more detailed look at the test page you have created. When the page is fresh loaded it works fine as long as you use the menu. If you click the scroll down arrow once, the offset appears and takes place til the page is reloaded. Can you reproduce this behaviour?
Maybe this is the track to find the fix…
Best regards,
JochenHi,
thank you for your continous support!
I took a look at the private test page. The page works fine as long as the menu is used.
If the scroll down arrow is klicked, the offset still remains …The only modifications i made vou’ll find in the Quick CSS section in the Enfold “general styling” configuration.
I have upgraded the provided username to “Super Admin” to grant you access to every corner of this installation ….
Best regards,
JochenHi Vinay,
thank you for your hint.
I installed it and tested it with up to 300px without any result.
It is still installed and activated so you can test by yourself.Best regards,
Jochen
Hi Andy,
i installed a fresh copy of enfold, deactivated the cache plugin for the whole network, cleared the browser cache and still got the same unchanged result.
Best Regards,
JochenHi,
bad news …
i’ve switched to the default theme, deactivated all plugins by renaming the plugins-directory
Alternatively i’ve excluded the site from the cahe-Plugin.
In all cases the offset remains.I left default and child theme activated for evaluation purposes.
Best regards,
JochenHi Rikard,
i updated the theme, the network and clered the cache.
