Hey Yigit,
Unfortunately, I’m building this using MAMP…is there a CSS solution maybe?
Thanks
Well I would but that changes the weight and font. I want to keep the Default weight and font but just lose the line. Possible?
What I mean is:
The Default H3 Heading currently looks like this:
FAQ ———————————————————————–
(where the dotted line above is a solid line in the theme)
I want it to look like this:
FAQ
(with no line)
See what I mean?
thank you!
Great, thanks! Last question. How can I make the FAQ responses a little darker in font color? The questions are grey. I’d like the responses to be jet black, so they stand off the page a little more.
Thanks very much. Super close, but I was looking to keep the horizontal lines inside the accordion.
To clarify, it’s a FAQ page. I’d like lines separating each question. I just don’t want the entire FAQ enclosed in a box. Thus, how to remove only the top and side borders?
Thanks
I don’t think that’s the right code.
When I hover, the box gets larger, not smaller. So setting the minimum width value doesn’t solve the problem.
I tried substituting “max-width” for “min-width” and got the button to stop getting wider upon hovering, but now it gets TALLER upon hovering instead. I have no idea why. Weird.
Any ideas?
the issue is that the button gets larger when I hover over it. I just want it to stay the same size, e.g., the typical X-large size.
ThanksThat fixed the color issue, thanks. But the sizing is still off.
What’s the normal width in px for X-large buttons? Would this work:
.call_us .avia-button {
max-width: XXXpx;
}That didn’t work, and I’m running the site on MAMP.
Have you any other ideas?
Thanks
Just a quick follow up:
1) When I hover, the width of the button changes (it gets wider); how can I make the width static? (it’s X large);
2) When I hover, the button changes shade slightly. I don’t want it to change colors on the hover. How can I turn this off?
Thanks!
super, thanks.
working late tonight, will probably have some more questions later…thanks for all your help.
Thanks so much. If I want to make these adjustments only to a particular button, where do I insert the custom class name? (Sorry again for the basic question — just learned about custom classes an hour ago).
just to flag — the questions above are different than the phone number question from before (which also dealt with buttons)…thanks :)
Yes! Thanks!
Hi again,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I copied and pasted the code with no luck. Unfortunately, I have no coding experience.
Sorry to be basic, but can you explain what a “custom class” is?
The button in question reads “Call us” (not “call_us”).Any further assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks!

Thanks for getting back to me. I tried everything above, but it didn’t work.
Currently I’m on a local host using MAMP. Is there an easy way to get you access to the site? Dropbox?
Thanks
January 1, 2015 at 11:54 am in reply to: Change menu font color when transparent header scrolls down #373795Hey Ismael,
Happy New Year to you too!
So I tried that and it didn’t do the trick. And now I’m a bit confused.
The only way I could get the menu links to change to white font was to go Advanced Styling > Main Menu Links and change the color there. If I go to Transparency Options panel > Transparency menu color, and set the color there to black, it doesn’t make any difference; they stay white during scroll down, even though the header kicks over to white.
Incidentally, in the Advance Styling > Main Menu Links panel, if I choose a different background color, then that background color does kick in when the user scrolls down, but the font doesn’t change at all. This is why I’m confused.
Lastly, when I scroll down, the header does switch from purely transparent to white, but there’s still a hint of transparency in it. It’s not “opaque white” if that makes sense.
So here’s what I’m trying to do:
1. initial page: fully transparent header with white font;
2. scroll down: fully white (non-transparent) header with black or grey font.Any ideas?
Thanks!
