Hi Yigit,
Its been there since day 1 without any plugins installed and I have uninstalled all the plugins for other reasons and the problem was still there. I am 100% positive its not a plug in issue.
I didn’t add them, they were left over from initial install. There is nothing called a prefixname_comments table the comes up in a search of files. do you have .any other suggestions?

No I can’t, there are no check boxes in comments to delete the comment or the author. The authors referenced in comments are not listed under users
