I solved it by using a categories page as main blogpost page. Its fine like this. thanks

Yes that is correct, but on the main page the full blogposts are showing instead of thumbnail and excerpt

Thank you for the fast response, but this doesn’t seem work.
The separator is as wide as I would like it to be.
But it adds a lot of whitespace above the line.
Also the categories don’t show the separator.

Do you have any ideas for this?
