Nevermind…I finally got the code right :-) Thanks anyway.
Thanks Yigit…the update fixed it. But am curious as to why my site said I was already up to date when I knew it was not.
Guess it has to do with updating the theme. I have it checked on theme forest to notify me but I go NO notification and on my site when I check manually, it says it is up to date..but it is not…I am uploading 3.5.3 right now and hope this fixes the problem
Thanks Yigit. I guess the owner of the site never set it up for Auto UPdates. I uploaded the new one and it is good now.
Solved.Thank you for your help. I really appreciate it!
Hi yes background is back but now when you mouseover it doesnt change color and my drop shadow is not on the menu items.?
Thank you that worked. But I was asking about the darker blue behind the phone number as per my image.

So i named the background section, put this in the custom css
added this to functions php
First Add this line of PHP to your functions.php file so that the custom class field is enabled:add_theme_support(‘avia_template_builder_custom_css’);
@media only screen and (max-width: 990px) {
.backgroundsection { display: none !important; }}But background still shows up on my iphone
What did I do wrong?
ThanksSOrry that did not work.

You can only see the flowers and not the image of the farmhouse as you do on the normal home page
http://whitehousefarmrentals.com/It is not a slider, it is an image background in the color section. See these screen shots:
It may be your location is blocked by the hosting company because it is loading fine for me.Usually Yigit is the one that sees my sites :-)
The home page image is a full page with rotation headline. The image is blown up on an iphone so that only part of it is seen..the dogwood flower
I want the image to resize smaller so that the entire image can be seen similar to on the other pages. Thanks!
I deactivated all the plugins and then I could see the site on the ipad and iphone. Then I activated each one separately and checked after each. None of them caused the issue.. Have no clue but I can see the site now on both. ThanksQ
I will try that…but everything on the site is up to date. And it JUST started happening. It has been fine for a year…so obviously someone’s update has caused an issue. I will let you know.
Thank you!
What if I just want to remove it? What custom css would I use?
ThanksOk. will remove the background.I believe that was standard with the demo set up for Churches. I do use caching with .wordfence. What does that have to do with a background color?
Here is the info to admin

When you scroll the site on a smartphone or tablet the grey area shows as well. I don’t want anything to show but the header. Thanks
Thanks but that did not work.
Thanks that worked.
I notice when the pages load, there is a quick view of a grey shade behind the image of the heading. Where is this coming from? I don’t want it to show. I notice when viewing site in tablet or iphone, the grey shows up as you scroll down :-(But if I want this on EVERY page…what would the css code be?
ThanksThanks solved. That did it.
Ok, that sounds doable. Thank once again for your prompt help.
My hosting company blocks some countries. I have tried adjustments, but it keeps making the logo size smaller and I don’t want it to shrink. I want to keep it large enough to read.
ThanksThe only thing is …it keeps making the logo smaller if I try to add a bit more padding. Any way to prevent it resizing?
Thank you :-)So you have any idea what is going on with the slider disappearing…mUst have something to do with incompatibility with the WP upgrade because that is when it started.
ANd now…the slider is back….what is going on?? one day it is gone and the next back???

You need to change the background setting for your navigation bar.Check in your Theme Options / Advanced settings
Or use firebug to “inspect element” and then change to transparent…However your menu will probably disappear because it is using a dark font on a dark background So you will have to change that color to something else.Have you gone into Theme Options/ and General Styling? There is where you can set all the colors for the various elements on the page.
Just to to WP Dashboard/ Appearance/Menu
Create a custom menu and check the box for primary navigation.
Then add whatever pages you want to your menu and save it.You can do the same with footer menu
