Hi Victoria
Thanks – that looks better now. I’ve sorted the text box gap problem with a negative margin on the bottom of the colour section that includes the text box.I’ve tried to reduce the space around the text in this text box using this CSS but its not working?
.white-bar{
opacity:0.8;
margin-top:9px;
margin-bottom:9px;
}What am I doing wrong please?
Thanks

Jordan
Please close. There were image elements under the icon boxes with no images loaded that was showing the ?. Apologies for wasting your time.

Many thanks for this. I’ve added the CSS but still get the stray question marks per the image on imgur.
HuwJordan
I’ve fixed this. The columns need to be set to individual height.
Thanks
HuwIf you look at the two screenshots on Imgur I want the second screenshot (mobile) to look like the first (desktop) – Ie the word Overview in line vertically with the ‘Got to site’ button
But Jordan, all I want is ‘Overview’ in bold text and ‘Go to site >’ in a button, Surely that’s not too much text for a mobile?!
Hi Jordan
I’ve copied the url for the problem page on my site again in the private area – sorry I spotted a typo now corrected.
HuwMany thanks for all of this Vinay
Hi Jordan
It links straight in for me. Please can you give it another try?
HHi Victoria
I’ve added the page url in the private area.
Thanks
HuwHI Jordan. I’ve deactivated all the plug ins but this has not removed the ?s. Huw
Jordan
TSO Host have confirmed its set ok
“The public_html/wp-contents/uploads directory on the site thepracticalhome.com on the Cloud has drwxr-xr-x set as the permissions, so that would be 755.”

Hi Jordan. I’ve reloaded on imgur so I hope you can now see this. Huw
Jordan. I’ve asked my hosting provider to help identify where I go on the control panel and will come back to you once your 755 query is addressed. Huw
Hi Jordan – I’ve made the link public so you should be able to access it now. Huw
Hi Basils. Correct private content now included. Huw
Hi Jordan. Sorry but I really don’t understand what I need to do here? Can you give me some more direction please? Thanks Huw
Hi Jordan
Yes – I want it to remain 2 columns and the content of both on the same vertical alignment as desktop.
Any help really appreciated.
Thanks
Huw
Hi Vicki. Mockup at below link – let me know if you cannot read it. Thanks Huw

Many thanks. That’s got me started. I still have a few things to sort out if you could help me further please:
1. How to I get the 2 logos to align with the container for the page
2. What kind of CSS should I use to make the logo in the widget area adjust in size to become responsive
3. On tablet portrait and mobile portrait mode in the customise view the logo is moving to the right and forcing the widget downThanks again.

Hi Mike
I think I’ve worked out what to do to fix this. Where the pixel image size is slightly different (1 pixel( it is forcing a gap in the grid on the smallest device sizes. Put the larger image at the last of the 4 columns on changing the image size seems to solve this.
Thanks for all your help. I think we can close this one now.
Thanks
Huw
Hi Mike
Thanks again for your help. This is better now. I managed to get the animated text and headline rotator to centre using whitespacing and extended your CSS.
But I still get some of the images popping out of position at the bottom of the page per the image at the below link. If you’re able to take one last look that would be great.
Thanks again
HuwMike
Many thanks for looking at this and pointing out the errors. I’ve cleared the cache but the non-image columns are showing different heights when the mobile device is less than 479px (the smallest on the Customise button) and they are no longer vertically aligned in the middle. Also, if you look at the other images further down on this smallest device there are gaps appearing.
If there’s anything else I should look at I’d be grateful.Thanks Nikko – please close
Vijay – excellent thanks. Sorry to be a pain. Is there any way to have the grid lines to the left of the left grid cell and right of the right grid cell?
Thanks
Huw
Hey Vinay
That’s great – many thanks. The only thing I need to tweak is the blue background colour either side of the grid row, which is inherited from the header background colour. How do I change that please?
Thanks again
Huw
Hi Vinay
Thanks for looking at this. I’ve provided an updated password – hope it works.
Thanks
H
I’ve sorted this now so please ignore. I’m using CSS Hero to help me understand the CSS I need. I then put the CSS in the Quick CSS area.
