Since past week i have taken some courses and figured out that i would have to create a plugin and do all my stuff there and “communicate” with page templates via shortcodes for example. Also i could have settings in my plugin to define the css classes that i need.
In that way i can use whatever theme i like.
Maybe i need somthing different.
I need my post types data to be “naked”. this means that i need to put there onl;y the data, title ,description and images and have a template file take over the looks.
This is what i need to do.

Is there any update on how we create custom templates for our custom post types?I fully understand your position and i have already send official ticket to them.

In themeforest page of enfold there is no option for support only..

So what you say is that i can download the latest version indefinetly and i can have lifetime support from this forum which obviously is not going to lock me out in 4 months. Correct?
Probably in 4 months i will not be able to use the support section in themeforest, which i havent used even once..correct?

I see, but is it possible to just tell us what files the system is using in any case? I mean i found out out about template-builder.php by luck and i cant find the reference any more. that’s why i am interested.

So can you be a little more specific?
From what you say and in regards to my questions?
1) will use the standard template WP hierarchy.
2) Will use the template-builder.php ?
3) Standard WP hierarchy
4) ?I could make this customization myself, can you just tell me the general rule for this? i mean which css or modules to customize..
I am a developer but i am new to WP development though :)
Of course..Thisis what i ment..For us to be able to download the settings only and start from there to build our sites.
We see the different demos youhave and most of us do not know how to make it look like the demo without having the data.
I think it will help a lot

But would it be much for you to create a file with all settings from all templates? It would really boost productivity for your users
It would be very useful to export your demos settings and have the files available for us to import..Not the data just the theme settings
This is the source of the one page. What about the settings in appearance->themes? Do they play any role ?
Yeap! I dont have any problem with this. I just dont know if it affects you guys somewhere else.
Also most people will not think that the dash is creating the appearence problem they will see, and they will try to alter css to achieve it.
So either remove the comment in the dashboard that says use the dash, or fix the bug.
For me is case closed.
I found out that this happens when i put dash “-” in the column name.
If i put something in column name then it is ok again.
Even if i put spaces in column name is ok!

I want’t using templates, i was just creating a page-#id.php and thought it could work like this. When i used a template it is working ok.No i haven’t touched the core enfold files and my child theme is minimum.
So i am ok like this.

That makes me think..
If i import the standard theme and export the settings.
then do the same for the second theme i want. Of course i will have to reinstall WP+enfold, but that is ok it takes 10 minutes..
So if i have all the settings saved i can import/export settings eh? Would that work?
On the other hand could you provide a standard export of the settings in order to import it to our local test installs?
