Hi Devin,
Just a lack of knowledge. Didn’t know style.css in the child theme had to be used. I removed the data in custom.css (backed it up in case) and pasted it in style.css. Will work with that file from now.
Social media icons should be right from the search icon. I don’t seen them in desk top and mobile version. In enfold settings it says top right. But I think it has something to do with previous changes in custom.css or header.php. Hope you can see, why they don’t show.

Don’t see the social media icons though. Do I need to change that in custom.css? And what about upgrading Enfold next time. Will these settings be overwritten again?

You css code doesn’t do much. :-(
I lost my header settings now (which I shouldn’t using child theme). I try to change this in custom.css (enfold directory/css/custom.css). I never change/add in the enfold child theme directory. Should I? I still don’t understand the use of a child theme as it keeps on changing settings after updating enfold.
I have 3 problems to solve now:
1. there is a white space between the header and the image now. How can I remove in custom.css?
2. white space on mobile is too little, hence it cuts of the logo
3. social media icons are still missingYour help will be appreciated. Website: http://www.redlinegolf.nl

Hi Ismael,
select “Hide both” was turned on, but your quick css worked fine. The icon problem I will look into it. Thanks.
In 2.6 I miss the bar to switch from page to enfold. I need use my back space now. Has that been changed? Or is it a setting?

David
I remove and reinstalled the plugin and added your code. And gues what… it works!
Thanks dude. :-)

David
Yes, but I might have deactivated it because I downloaded another plugin for adding links to a gallery. Shall I remove the plugin, install it again and than add the code to functions.php?
Regards,
David
It’s the functions.php file, not the functions-enfold.php file…
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Peter,
I use the latest Enfold’s version. Your code creates an error when I copy paste it in functions.php:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/wineengratisvakantie.nl/public_html/redline/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 470
Regards,
David
Thanks. That worked.
Thanks. Can you give me a code for adjusting the font seize too?

David

Last question: the grey bar on top of the page. Where can I remove it? It has no use now.

February 6, 2014 at 6:54 pm in reply to: language icons centred above navigation menu & adjusting height navigation #220602Hi Yigit,
It works indeed. :-)
However it doesn’t show the google social icon anymore on smartphone (landscape). Will it be possible to centre the flag in the grey bar above? Where can I adjust that?

David

February 4, 2014 at 9:10 pm in reply to: language icons centred above navigation menu & adjusting height navigation #219636Think the first line isn’t correct (red in custom.css). Doesn’t do anything in quick.css.
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.avia_wpml_language_switch {
top: 35px;
right: 20%;
}}Regards,

February 4, 2014 at 7:12 pm in reply to: language icons centred above navigation menu & adjusting height navigation #219579Hi Yigit,
Looking good!
We are almost there: because of the minus number (.avia_wpml_language_switch { top: -30px; } the language flags don’t show on smartphones. Will it be possible to still show them? Maybe when we remove the grey section above the white navigation section the problem is solved? I think the flags show up below this grey section on smartphones. But that’s just my feeling. :-)

David

Have you guys already found a solution? I like to do the same (4 or 5 images per row). I use Size Setting ‘Flexible Masonry’: http://www.cadeaugolf.nl. Or does it only work using smaller images? Maybe with a short code or custom.css code?

January 29, 2014 at 6:27 pm in reply to: how to replace an fontello Icon for an own customized icon #216534Thanks. That worked fine! Do you have a code to too alter the color of the circle when place in a color section? See http://www.cadeaugolf.nl/trex-tour (red underground, I want to customize it in to grey or white).
