  • Hi Victoria,
So the gtag option was in fact already disabled, but I presume you meant for me to enable it instead. I’ve enabled it, flushed all site caches… and behold, it works. Fantastic!

Thanks much for your assistance. We’re all happy over here and are gonna it “weekend”.

    Cheers.

    Hi Victoria,

Thanks for putting my attention on this. I’ve had a look and found that the tracking code is now being added via the following plugins:

    • WooCommerce by use of ‘Enhanced E-commerce for Woocommerce store’ plugin
    • Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP)

There could be a redundancy there. I also noticed that WooCommerce (Enhanced E-commerce plugin) actually mentions a setting to enable the use of gtag, which is disabled by default and, according to WooCommerce “does not need to be activated if gtag is being added by another 3rd party plug”. Which I’m now not convinced that it actually is.

I know I should experiment, but I’m a bit concerned as this is a production environment and lack sufficient knowledge to know what I’m doing here without potentially mucking things up.

I’ve added temporary admin details in the private content section. Thanks in advance!

Hi Ismael and thanks for your reply.

Nothing is minified unless that’s how it came with the template. It’s pretty much an out-of-the-box installation with no modification other than some custom styles.

I presume gtag refers to Google Analytics tracking code here? Did you encounter that error on any other pages? I have no clue as to how to proceed from here, despite this knowledge. Sorry :)

    Cheers.

in reply to: Enfold update 4.0.5 errors #774023

I’m having the same issue. To add on to that: the LayerSlider WP is still visible in the left column menu. Clicking on the link still takes me correctly to the LayerSlide main page, which tells me “You have version 6.2.2. The latest version is 6.3.0.”. WordPress tells me there is a plugin to update, but subsequently no plugin 9to update) is listed in the plugins overview. The LayerSlider WP plugin is not listed in the plugins overview, but I assume this is correct as it came installed with the Enfold theme and afaik that means it doesn’t appear in the plugin list.

It would seem the error is related to a link to the plugin:
Warning: fopen(/home/[domain]/public_html/wp-content/plugins/home/[domain]/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/[domain]/public_ht…
Clearly there’s a wrong reference in the fopen() statement, which seems to contain two paths.

I’d like to know whether there is a fix for this, without having to (temporarily) tweak any code?

in reply to: Masonry Gallery Simply Does Not Display #771771

I’ve had the same issue with the Masonry Gallery not showing up. I managed to resolve it by going to the Avia Layout Builder of the particular page, clicking the Masonry Gallery box to edit, then under the “Image Link” section I had to change the value from “Lightbox linking deactivated” to “Lightbox linking active”. After that the gallery appeared on the page again.

For what it’s worth: I’ve had the same issue with the Masonry Gallery not showing up.

This issue seems to be consistent, in the sense that when i change it back to “Lightbox linking deactivated”, the Gallery disappears again.
