Never mind, It was some plug-in. Fixed.
Is there a way to roll back the theme?
December 23, 2014 at 11:15 pm in reply to: White Screen of Death after WP and Enfold updates #372310Thank you, thank you, thank you, Josue! I really appreciate your efforts and helping me solve this problem!
Cheers and Happy Holidays!
thank you for your continued support.
I upgraded to WP to latest version.
Ummm…did you read any of my previous messages?. That’s why I started this thread and I’m about to yell with typing as to bring attention to it:
I GET THE WHITE SCREEN OF DEATH WHEN I UPDATED TO THE MOST RECENT VERSIONS AND THAT IS AFTER I DISABLED ALL THE PLUGINS AFTER I INSTALLED EVERYTHING FROM SCRATCH. PLEASE READ ABOVE. WE ARE STILL WRITING IN CIRCLES.
I don’t think you understand what I’ve been writing or I misunderstood what you wanted me to do.
I thought you wanted me to restore the previous versions so you can find out why when I upgrade to the most recent WP and Enfold and when I disable all plugins the website doesn’t work.
Of course I know the website works now because I restored the previous version. However, what I keep saying is that when I upgrade to the most recent release of WP and Enfold (and even after disabling all plugins) the website does not work. This is after multiple clean installs. Thus, I gave you the FTP log information because that is what I thought you requested in your previous message.
Now, we’ve gone back and forth saying the same thing. I realize this theme is working for others, but one of the reasons I purchased this theme is for support and quality. It’s not working for me when I upgrade. Do you understand my problem now?
No, it’s not fixed. Per your directions, I restored the previous version, so it’s the old wp: 3.x and the old Enfold theme. You wrote this in your previous message:
If it still doesn’t work, please contact your hosting provider to restore the site to a point where it is still working. We would like to check it.
So, I restored it and gave you the info to check it. and wrote this in my previous message:
So, I restored to WP pre 4.0.1 and pre enfold 3.0.4 as you mentioned in you last sentence so you can check it.
Please advise next steps.
Thank you.
This reply has been marked as private. So, I’ve re installed WP again, this time from scratch. Re-installed the theme directly by FTP with the latest download, and then it gave me white screen when I activated the theme. This is with all default setting and no additional plugins.
So, I restored to WP pre 4.0.1 and pre enfold 3.0.4 as you mentioned in you last sentence so you can check it.
Please advise next steps.
Thank you.
Unfortunately, that link you provided didn’t load anything (latest IE and firefox).
However, I uploaded the theme FTP (didn’t work) and then re-installed WordPress using the dashboard, and it now works.
