Actually this one would be just the thing: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-editor-widget/
But unfortunately it doesn’t show the “Insert Theme Shortcode” button.. I’ll make a feature request.
With this addon it’s kind of possible: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wysiwyg-widgets/
I would prefer to have the editor in the widgets area itself, but I guess it’s better to manage the widgets like that.
Yes, I know I can build the shortcodes in add new article view for example and then copy paste to a text widget, but that wasn’t what I’m after…
What I’d like to know is that is there some widget what uses the wysiwyg article editor for wordpress? and if there is such widget, will the Enfold “Insert Theme Shortcode” button come there automatically?
And if not, I’d think it would be very usefull for Kriesi to create a wysiwyg widget what would simply be a text widget with the same editor as in create/edit article view.
I’ll answer my self..
It seems that the Lightbox will open the image in the size set via Settings > Media > Large size. When I set the large size to a bigger size and regenerated the images using this https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/ the lightbox shows the original uploaded image (if you set Large size to be bigger).
But the downside to this is that now galleries and everything have very large images. I would prefer to have the Settings > Media > Large size in a size that isn’t too big for better user experience.
When I add an Image to the page and select Lightbox as the link type, it should open the Full size image if I have selected full size for the image attachment when selecting it from the Media library.
Why it doesn’t do that and anyway to fix it?
Thanks, but the glass effect should be enabled only when the header is glassy. So I end up using the following:
.av_header_transparency ul.sub-menu { background: transparent !important; border-top-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2) !important; } .av_header_transparency ul.sub-menu a { background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.2) !important; color: #fff !important; font-weight: bold; text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px rgba(0,0,0, 0.5) } .av_header_transparency ul.menu a { text-shadow: 1px 1px 0px rgba(0,0,0, 0.5) }
Added slight text shadows to main and submenu make it more readable and bold to the submenu items. YMMV
Anyone? Please help…
It seems that it is a “feature” of Codestyling Localization which cannot be changed.
See: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/wrong-greek-locale-and-wpml?replies=2
What I did is translate the strings with Codestyling Localization and generate the .mo file, then open FTP to /wp-content/themes/enfold/lang and rename the fi_FI.mo to fi.mo.
I guess that’s the only way to go about it if using Codestyling Localization addon.
Found the problem.. but don’t know how to fix it.
WP was installed with Installatron in Finnish language and it had set the language code as ‘fi’ to the config file. When I add Finnish language to Enfold with the Codestyling Localization addon it will create it with fi_FI lang code.
If I change the language code in wp config file to fi_FI, the site translates ok, but the wp dasboard changes to English.
How can I change the Enfold translation language file code to fi or make the dashboard work with fi_FI language code?
Took a while but I found the strings… it helped to check the non case-sensitivity, altought I think I tried to search with the correct case anyways.
But now I have a new issue. I translated the strings, clicked to generate .mo file, view the blog page and.. the strings are still not translated there. Why?
I cannot find the strings to tranlate the blog article list where it says: “6. elokuuta, 2014/0 Comments/in Pennut, Zira /by Dogs” for example.
Where are the “Comments, in, by” strings? I have used the Scan feature to make it find for the translatable strings but those are not in there when I search for them.
My language (Finnish FI_fi) is not on the list.. can I generate it?
When I just clicked add new language and did the scan there is 2379 strings to translate.. surely the blog texts and so one are already translated in Finnish somewhere.
Can I download some “baseline” Finnish language file somewhere and import it as base for Finnish language in Enfold and I could then just translate the strings that Enfold theme adds..?
I’m quite new to WordPress, so sorry for being little dumb.
