OK, but in a second installation with the same setup/categories it works… Very strange.
If I change the category from your test product to a category two levels lower and without the main category, it works too, but why? So no product in Telecommunicatie and now it works? But why is it working now?
Thanks. That´s strange. In a second installation it works without products. I´ll try this out.
I have a lot of sub categories and I want to display the subcategories and not products that are in the subcategories…. These are the images with the green and black stripe. I´ll only display products if they are in a (sub)categoy.
The other images are products. And in this case I cannot move through the subcategories, cause they are missing. Thats the problem.
This is the desired view:
The sub-categories are shown.
This is the behavior my categories have:
No sub-categories, only products.
I disabled all the plugins except woocommerce, but no changes… Any ideas?
I don´t think that the permanent links are the problem… and the categories are sorted as expected:
But the the categories are missing on the pages…

OK, it seems to be that the ALB do not work with the additional tabs. So I decided to do without ALB. But now no pictures appear on the product site? Whats wrong with woocommerce and Enfold? In a test version it works… Any ideas?
Thanks for your note. I figured out that the snippet never worked ;-)
It´s a problem of the Plugin WooCommerce Product Tabs. In version 2.0.23 the tabs work, with the latest version 2.1.0.1 it does not work… But I don´t know why.
Thats not a problem of wordpress, it is due to the WooCommerce Product Tabs plugin. With the new version the hook does not work :-(
Any ideas? I will ask the plugin developer too.But thats new, or why does it work in the older version? And now must I recreate all products? Thats insane, sorry…. :-(
If that is the case, Enfold is dead and I have to look for a new theme…

Hi Mike,
the fix does not work for me. I changed it in the enfold theme not in the enfold-child themen.
And the CSS down not work too.
Any ideas? And one second question: Is it possible to hide the startingpoint of the productcategories in the breadcrumbs? Cause this node is useless.
Many thanks. At the moment I deactivated the breadcrum on all of the other sites.
April 17, 2023 at 2:27 pm in reply to: Woocommerce product thumbnails in gallery are missing #1404694OK, got it. In Regenerate Thumbnails you´ll have to check the additional thimbnail formats. After that it works.
But why is the image size still 210 and not 250:<img src="http://v2.gmc-instruments.it/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/m840b-mavowatt-210-front_20310-210x210.webp" class="wp-image-11681 avia-img-lazy-loading-11681 attachment-shop_catalog size-shop_catalog wp-post-image" alt="" decoding="async" srcset="https://v2.gmc-instruments.it/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/m840b-mavowatt-210-front_20310-210x210.webp 210w, https://v2.gmc-instruments.it/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/m840b-mavowatt-210-front_20310-400x400.webp 400w, https://v2.gmc-instruments.it/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/m840b-mavowatt-210-front_20310-100x100.webp 100w, https://v2.gmc-instruments.it/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/m840b-mavowatt-210-front_20310-250x250.webp 250w" sizes="(max-width: 210px) 100vw, 210px" width="210" height="210">
I´ll do more tests this weekend. But did anything change in the code through the WP update to 6.2?
OK, thanks after deletion of all of these fields the import works again…. very strange.
One question: What changes are made in the database if I activate the ALB? Is this only the flag _aviaLayoutBuilder_active in the database in the postmeta table? Or is it _avialayoutBuilder_active (with small L)?
Ok, I understand that. I did the debugging for myself:
If I import the product and set the meta attribute {meta:_avialayoutbuilder_active} then the ALB is broken. If I do not set the attribute I can activate the ALB manually. So whats wrong with this meta attribute? Does anything change? If I import in an older version of wordpress the import works and the advanced layout builder. If I import into 6.2 it does not work. So it must be a relation between the new version and enfold. The import works and set the active flag correct, so I think it must be a problem with the theme.
Hi Guys,
after updating to WordPress 6.2 the import does not work correctly.
No I have the same problem that the Advanced Layout Builder won´t work. If I open a product in the backend I can switch to ALB, after saving the ALB is gone.
Could you check this please? In my staging system the import works with WordPress 6.0.x. SO it should be a combination of Enfold and the new WP version.Let me check it first please. I´m waiting for the next full import.
After deletion of the products the import works and the layout builder too. Very strange…

Hi Ismael,
creation of products from the scratch works and the ALB works too.
I did deactivate all relevant plugins, but my imported producs won´t use the ALB.
Our first successful imports uses ENFOLD 4.9. Does anything changes in the ALB code after the upgrade to 5.4?Hi,
A PIM is a system with the plain product data (only text and structured data). We create the Woocommerce format via an importer. And that is the reason why we need the advanced layout editor.
But I realized that I can activate the ABL via database. For example:UPDATE
os5a4_postmetaSET
meta_value= 'active' WHERE
os5a4_postmeta.
meta_id= 5670;
We want to import new or updated products out of a PIM (Product Information System). The whole product updating and creation takes place in the PIM and every night there should be an automatic import in WordPress. So this is the reason we need the Avanced Layout Builder automatically activated.
Is it clearer now what the requirement of us is?

I cannot import 500 products and after that I have to set the advanced layout builder manually…. thats an insane idea…
If you, as the creator of the ALB, do not know how to activate it in the database, who should know…?Hi Mike,
thanks for the answer. But how can I activate the Advanced Layout Builder in the database? Is there an SQL-flag? And how can I import products with activated Advanced Layoutbuilder. Do you have a recommendation for an import plugin?

I think the plugin Smamrt Image resize fits my needs: https://wordpress.org/plugins/smart-image-resize/Now I need only to center the image and give the container a white background.
