You were right the first time – I do want to find the ID of the photo to make changes like the first code. I just don’t see the word “attachment” in the code that came up when I clicked Inspect Element. I thought maybe sometimes it was called image- I don’t know how to read code (although so much better than 2 weeks ago when you guys started helping me build my new website).
So the question is then – where can I find “attachment” like in the screen shot

Jetpack was already installed by my Bluehost Website Transfer Team, but I had to activate it after my DNS was pointed and my site became my domain name (not sure about the techy language there). I went into settings and they had a checkbox for Tiled Gallery. Yay! They’re looking fine now. No more 250px columns of tiny thumbnails.It’s added a whole bunch of other things too – like another set of Share this and Related – like at the bottom of http://dominiquehurley.com/studio-sneak-peek-snowflakes/ And camera settings in the lightbox, which isn’t very professional looking. I hope Jetpack is compatible with Enfold and hasn’t broken anything.
I’ll spend the day looking through the site and Jetpack to learn about it.
Question 1- the second link you gave me about “Local “… I don’t know what that means. Is there a problem that’s hiding or should I forget about it if the galleries are showing up nicely?
Question2: I’m not sure what to link the galleries to: Attachment Page, Media File or None ? What’s the difference?

Sorry Yigit – read that several times and looked at your links, but not sure what you mean or how this would apply to this question about general Share buttons in my footer or on a page for my website. It’s above my head, I’m afraid.
BTW, The times I switched from Default to Advanced in the editor my content disappeared (but was recuperated by not updating and instead closing browser tab).
I don’t have any share buttons in any Advanced Page Layout – in another thread I asked about why they’re not showing up on new posts using these. I also don’t have any Share buttons in my footer – I couldn’t find a Widget to add to the footer in Enfold – only the Like my facebook page.
As mentioned in another troubleshooting thread, https://kriesi.at/support/topic/some-blog-posts-titles-not-appearing/ , I’ve figured out that titles, comment boxes, blog previews, Share buttons aren’t showing up if I edit/design a post using the Advanced Layout Editor. That would also affect this topic.
Now I know why, but hoping to have insights on how to keep the Blog Layout even if I choose the advanced so I can put in pretty picture galleries (if I decide to rebuild all 300 posts).

I’m getting better at detective work. OK, so in going in to edit the links on this one, I noticed that it was a post I tried reconstructing because of the gallery nightmare issue I’m still hoping you’ll help me solve (previous thread).
I used the Advanced Layout Editor to redo this post. All my old ones are in Default Editor. So the default Title is missing at the top, but also the Share links, Comment box, You May Also Like blog thumbnails and maybe more.
Is that normal? I thought the Advanced one would just allow me to create nicer galleries.

Wow… a lot of steps before smiling. I’m new to plugins… to a lot of this – I’ll admit, that’s intimidating. I did optimize for websites #1 for the Homepage and shop, but the thousands of photos in the blog are not. That’s not where the problem was though.
I’ll put this on my list for when some of the more major issues are taken care of and I feel more confident technologically speaking.

Looking for an example, I see that the bold is also purple in the subtitle #1 in this post (which I haven’t edited since we entered the CSS code for bold = black)

So I’d taken the bold off to make it purple. Today I made it bold again, and it stayed purple. It just didn’t do it the first time or on automatic cut and paste (last words, 3rd paragraph).
