Ok. Turned on error logs.
Installed wordpress from scratch via FTP. Deleted plugins and installed latest version of enfold. Noted that I had an error in wp-config.php in line 2. “uncaught error: fatal error, not a string”Response when I posted the code:
Hi,
U have been hacked :)
Best regards,
BasilisNot sure what this means. How can I tell what’s been hacked and/or how to fix this? Do you see an issue in the wp-config line 2 and how can I adjust this? I appreciate Basilis response, but its not very clear.
This file is unpacked directly from WordPress. There are no changes. Can I post that code here?
Is there something out of place?

what did you use to find this screen, if you don’t mind me asking?
The host provider did not have “detailed errors” turned on within cpanel. It said DetailedLocal errors. My bad!
So, finally got detailed errors turned on.
Trying to connect to wp-admin and wp-login pages result in the following errors:
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Function name must be a string in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php:2
Stack trace:

#2 {main}
thrown in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php on line 2Trying to use the search function results in the following errors
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Function name must be a string in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php:2 Stack trace:

#3 {main} thrown in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php on line 2How can I adjust these files to work again? I have a fully functioning website, just no dashboard access due to errors.
Thank you in advance!Thanks Mike,
My WP-admin account returns a 500 error. My error log are set to true, but don’t seem to be updated. I’ve upgraded to the latest wordpress and the latest enfold, turned off all plugins by deleting via FTP. I cannot access wp-admin, but don’t seem to be receiving any errors. Any thoughts?Thank you in advance, you’re awesome.

May 3, 2019 at 7:26 pm in reply to: 500 error on WP-admin, WP-login, Search pages. NEED HELP! #1096997I have no plugins if that’s helpful
Just managed to get access back after loading wordpress 5.1.1 from scratch, newest version of enfold.
Website works fine. 500 error when accessing wp-adminI’m not sure what you mean.
I had a white screen of death with no errors. Now I have a 500 error and some specific issues. I have a backup from the white screen. Not sure if that’s a step forward. The website works fine, I just cannot gain access to my wp-admin files.Reuploading the previous website gave me the following error on any page:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WP_Meta_Query in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-includes\class-wp-meta-query.php on line 22Returning to newest WP build and newest Enfold version. Where can I download the older versions of the enfold files?
I updated to PHP 7.1
Now I have a 500 error on wp-admin screens, wp-login screens when a proper ID is given.I also receive this fatal error when using the search function:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Function name must be a string in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php:2 Stack trace: #0 D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-load.php(37): require_once() #1 D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once(‘D:\\WWW\\jordand\\…’) #2 D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\index.php(22): require(‘D:\\WWW\\jordand\\…’) #3 {main} thrown in D:\WWW\jordand\jordanspeech.com\wwwroot\wp-config.php on line 2Should I just downgrade the product?
I believe this is referred to as “Copyright infringement”.
I have added a debug.log file to the wp-content folder, but file retains 0byte size
When I turn on debug mode, no log is created. I have commented this out in the wp-config.php now, but uncommenting, running the problem pages, etc. shows no issues and creates no debug.log
Thank you Victoria.
Php 5.6.11 please see link below:
Audit logs only seem to show change states. No errors I can see. There are no WP-Error or Debug.log files- This reply was modified 5 years, 6 months ago by dockerydesigns.
