This did not work. The plugin said destination already exists. What else can I do? I don’t want site to go down.

Literally for two months – Pick a page. Any page. It happens no what what page I am on; however for argument sake I’m going to clone a page for you to test, as the site is now live and I don’t more items disappearing from the live site.

To give you an idea, I simply tried to save use the template page I named alumni, blue line, and admissions to save for you to edit. I was unable to get the full page to save that variation at any point this morning. You will see this page set up today has 17 revisions – simply trying to recover the data. I hope you can pop in a bit of code and fix because this is beyond frustrating and wastes a lot of valuable time. Thank you. See below.

So I have now moved the website to a brand new host, hoping maybe that would fix the issue. The ENFOLD theme website STILL deletes information. I will add something new, hit Publish and the only thing that appears on the page is the title. All the other work (photos and copy) are gone. I then browse past revisions and use the one prior to the save and try again. Sometimes it works; other times, not so much. Now on the new site, I cannot add a menu item, add a new page, edit ANY page or do anything. The blue circle spins and spins and that’s it. I updated the theme, deleted plugins and nothing helped, so I redeleted the WordPress, reuploaded the website and did not update the theme, hoping that was the cause. I put that bit of code in functions.php file – still no improvement. I am giving you access to look at see what the heck is going on here. You will see just how times revisions the theme error has caused. Thank you in advance for any clarification you can provide.

The only issue with your suggestion is I already read the 4.5 link you suggested and as this is a BRAND NEW BUILD, there is no custom css or plugins yet installed and the issue is still occurring. I did the addition to the functions.php page and it is still not working correctly. Items I add and save are gone when I go to re-edit the page. If I do three layout elements with headline, photo, spacer, and text in each, one of the three ends up below the two upon view – which should be impossible. Images randomly disappear. Lists randomly disappear. This is by FOLLOWING your link and doing what was suggested in a brand new site. I need assistance please. I sent private content earlier. This needs to be fixed urgently.

Another older website I bought the template for also has items disappear randomly. Please help.

Is there one you as a developer would recommend over others?
