Hi Ismael,
No worries. I switched it on the live site, so please take a look at the staging site.
Thank you
hello. just wanted to follow up on this. Thanks :)
Hi Jordan, it’s just that link that doesn’t work. I’ve created a login to the staging environment for you guys to check it out, see private area.
Thanks
Hi Jordan,
it’s happening in all browsers. I’m not sure why the link directly next to it would work but this one won’t.thank you Mike!
Hi Vinay! Thanks for the quick response. I’m actually talking about the logo in the main menu and header tabs within the wp backend in the theme’s general styling.
I changed the page layout so please disregard. However for future reference, is there a way to make this element mobile friendly?

Thanks

I know, there is something else that’s affecting the opacity and I cannot locate it.

Hi Mike! Another quick question. I know this is a bit nitpicky but it looks like the button does not slide with the rest of the menu items when shrinking, when you scroll slowly this is apparent. Is there a way to ensure the button shrinks with the same timing as the rest of the menu items?
I should have known! You are awesome, thank you!
HI Victoria! There shouldn’t be any caching on this site as it’s a staging server, it could be the browser cache. I know the border isn’t showing up as i’ve looked on multiple browsers and incognito.
September 29, 2018 at 6:49 pm in reply to: header button looks slightly less bright on transparent header #1016128Hi Victoria! The staging area shouldn’t have any caching so it may be the browser cache. Also, I had set the opacity to 1 in the css but it doesn’t look like it’s actually being applied to the right area. You’ll notice that if you hover over the button the white in the text looks a bit grey.
HI Victoria!
I appreciate you taking this video! It looks like it only happens sometimes while i’m editing the site. Thanks again.
Hi Ismael! It looks like it’s still happening on Chrome (but not on any other browser)
Hi jordan! It looks like it didn’t work unfortunately.
Yes, it now looks like what I was trying to achieve is already there. Thanks Rikard!
Hello! Just wanted to follow up on this. Thank you all so much :)
Please see private content area. Thanks so much for your help
Hi Jordan,
Thank you! I installed the plugin but it looks like the delay on the button is still there.
Is there an optimization plugin you would recommend?
Hi Jordan!
Thanks for your reply. I don’t feel like there is a lot of code running, since I don’t have many plugins installed. I am using a lot of custom css within the child theme but i’m not sure why this would affect the header button. Are there any other suggestions? It seems like the button has some sort of animation…
Hi Jordan,
I have not, but there are only two plugins installed on the site (Yoast SEO and WP Security Audit Log), so I feel there shouldn’t be any issues because of that (although I may be wrong). Do you have any other ideas of why this may be happening and how to fix it?

So log into FTP and copy/paste header.php folder into the root of the child theme, and that’s it?
