October 18, 2016 at 11:24 pm in reply to: Display Side Bar Sub Menus as Accordian Drop Downs #700947I don’t want to mess with the Enfold theme menu that much…it is nice. But is there a way to may an item “Portfolio” toggle to open menu links to various portfolio pages? It would be neater than having a growing list of portfolio links.
I have found things on the support forum (https://kriesi.at/support/topic/widget-sidebar-menu-how-to-make-it-into-drop-down-list-or-accordion/) that referenced plugins and actually creating accordion sidebar widgets. I did try one menu plugin which really messed up the theme. The login information is updated below.

October 18, 2016 at 4:40 pm in reply to: Widget: Sidebar Menu (How to make it into drop down List or Accordion) #700759Hi Dan;
I just happened upon your solution in the Enfold support forum. I want to create a similar menu as you provided in http://www.silkphotos.com. I would like a menu that has an link called Portfolio, which when expanded will contain my portfolio pages, which could grow in number. I just can’t get it to work. I can create portfolio pages, but don’t know the setting for the higher level “folder” page, or how to create the accordion menu look/feel. The plugin is very basic so I must be missing something.
Thank you

Awesome! Thanks!
That worked great. What about the other question about the Portfolio side menu item remaining active(highlighted) once you go to individual portfolio items. It does not remain selected. Thanks.

Because the site is not live yet, you will have to log in. Too busy working on images!
When you click on Portfolio, then click on Cuba: The Oriente. This has the default special heading with the line.
Next click on Portfolio, then Mexico: San Miguel. This has the Modern Left heading style, which I want. But I want the same line as the default heading style.Another issue is that once I click on the individual portfolio items, Cuba, Mexico, etc. the left menu item “Portfolio” is not longer highlighted.
Thank you.
July 14, 2016 at 4:13 pm in reply to: Left sidebar menu takes a little jump when highlighted #660921I am not sure why the ids/passwords expire in WordPress. I have generated a new one and put in the private data.
I have tried the above code and still have the same results.
I did notice that the Service page on the Construction demo also behaves the same way.
July 12, 2016 at 2:32 pm in reply to: Left sidebar menu takes a little jump when highlighted #659873I had changed the default padding per a prior support question. I am changing the highlighted menu behavior so it matches the top main menu. I didn’t want the boxes around the items. This default change makes the items that are highlighted move one space to the left and they still bounce down one space. I did try removing all custom css and adding back one modification at a time, but didn’t find any conflicting code. Any other ideas? Thanks!
I also wanted to add that the Enfold Theme Construction Demo left side menu does the same thing when highlighted.

I have already tried that. No matter what I change the “6” to, it still bounces.
I regenerated a new password.
I tried that and it still moves, slightly, but you can still tell. It was once working so I am not sure if there is some other css that I added that is bumping into this code.
I will keep trying.

DianeGood Morning;
I am using the following code in the CSS and it still bounces a bit. It seems like the top padding but I have changed that from 6px all the way down to 0px and it still moves. Any ideas?
/*fix padding on Left Sub Menu (Services) when selected*/
.widget_nav_menu ul:first-child>.current_page_item>a {
padding: 6px 0px 0px 0 !important;

Oops. I have put some notes in there for myself. Dangerous place to keep code notes.
Thank you so much!!!!
I made a new login for admins:
That didn’t work for me either.
Sorry. This didn’t work for me. I have tried everything to get it to not display. I will keep trying!
June 28, 2016 at 1:35 pm in reply to: How to have top menu selection and side sub menu selection both active #654200Thank you so much! I wasn’t expecting so much help from this Support Forum. This is an amazing theme and the support is amazing also.
June 27, 2016 at 4:45 pm in reply to: What to change so Top Menu and Side Menu are Both Active #653874OK. So if the list of jobs is always changing, is there an easy way to create a submenu? And could you point me to the documentation for that. Thanks.
June 27, 2016 at 4:14 pm in reply to: What to change so Top Menu and Side Menu are Both Active #653846Just upgraded. This didn’t fix my issue. I already made changes so that the sub menu worked for Services side menu from our main menu. That works fine now.
However the sub menu from Careers, does not leave the main menu selected item active.
Check out our test site please: http://035.acc.myftpupload.com/job/fine-gardening-crew-leader/
That worked great! Thank you for your help.
The sub menu lines up perfectly when items are not selected.
Landscape Maintenance
Landscape Construction
Irrigation
ETCWhen a menu item is selected, it bounces one space to the left. Perhaps it is the bold font that causes this adjustment. How would I make the selected items not bold?
It then looks like this, where Landscape Maintenance (or any selected menu item) is out of vertical alignment with the other menu items
Landscape Maintenance (this is now vertically aligned to the left of the other items)
Landscape Construction
IrrigationIf you check the temporary website, you will see. Services, then select any menu item.
Thanks, I hope this is more clear.

June 23, 2016 at 8:14 pm in reply to: How to have top menu selection and side sub menu selection both active #652716The url that you mentioning private data works fine with the sub menu.
The one I sent in this thread was:
The top menu item “Careers” is not longer selected.
Thanks.
June 21, 2016 at 7:04 pm in reply to: How to have top menu selection and side sub menu selection both active #651653Thanks but I am not sure why the top menu is no longer highlighted once a submenu item is selected within the Enfold theme. I am not sure what to modify??
