Hey!
If you can set up that same fullscreen+transparent layout on a second unlisted page we can test it out and see whats going on. Just point us to where it is when it is live.
Cheers!
DevinHi!
My guess is that its a failure on the server configuration side to properly be able to connect to Envato’s update api/server. If you do not fill in the themeforest name and API information and update the theme files as if it were FTP (write over the whole theme folder with the update) then there should be no issue.
Typically, unless your local server is identical to your live server its a gamble that the two environments will respond to changes in the same way.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
The demo data you can import from the Import/Export tab in the theme options has a few slideshows with assets that get bulk imported with everything else.
You could try importing in the sample_sliders.txt file in the theme files layerslider config file (config-layouerslider>LayerSlider>sampleslider) but I’ve never had great results with pulling in pre-configured slideshows with LayerSliders import tool.
Best regards,
DevinIn that case you would just not use a featured image. Then nothing would show in the big image blog layout.
Hi bdm55!
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
The internal update checks every 12 hours and should tell you of the update at that point.
Best regards,
DevinHi spedick!
In the regular visual editor there is a magic wand icon that opens the available shortcodes which can be added to the page or post you are editing. It is still there in the most recent version which is now 2.6.4, the WordPress 3.9 compatible version.

No, not with the current sorting functionality.
Best regards,
DevinHi Atlasoid!
Just to clarify, you want a blank space on the whole left hand side of the blog page if there is no featured image set?
Best regards,
DevinHey!
Make sure your browsers cache has been completely cleared since the visual editor was updated in 3.9. If the active theme has not been updated or any plugins then they need to be updated as well.

I’m closing off this topics since its already a bit too hard to follow :)
As others have mentioned you need to make sure all plugins are compatible with 3.9 and that you have no cached version of WordPress’s old visual editor on your computer. The new version is included with WordPress 3.9 and any cached files from it can cause issues.
Regards,
DevinHi snmarkov!
If you set the Theme Options blog setting to the Grid layout it will then default all archives to use the grid as well. The setting is in General Settings>Blog Style.
Regards,
DevinHey!
The theme uses WordPress’s own embed script which is the oEmbed Peter mentioned above. What could be happening is that on older pages the code was already generated correctly but on newer ones WordPress is failing at doing so.
You can test it by switching themes and see if regular embeds work.
Cheers!
DevinHey jackyking!
Unless you’ve modified the actual theme files you can just update through WordPress or over FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Make sure that you also update in order of files changed from 2.6.2, 2.6.3 and then 2.6.4 if you try and update just those files mentioned in the version.txt.
Best regards,
DevinHey profil77!
They will be fully integrated in with version 2.7 but it looks like the ability to downsize has already accidentally been added in. So for the moment, there isn’t a way except the above.
2.7 will be pushed out next week unless there are any major conflicts with WordPress 3.9.

DevinApril 17, 2014 at 3:35 am in reply to: updated to Enfold 2.6.3 facing dificulties uploading images #252405Hey talelie!
There was a bug fix release for Enfold made available on ThemeForest today. Try updating and see if that fixes the issue for you. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
If you have any active plugins running you can also try deactivating them in case one has become incompatible with the updates put in place to make the theme compatible with WordPress 3.9.
Regards,
DevinHi brentwestwind!
You can either update from within WordPress if you’ve entered in your API key and username or over FTP by replacing the enfold theme folder.

DevinHi winstonsf!
No, unfortunately not with the current implementation of it. The templates act more as a single version template of a specific layout that you branch off on each usage.
Regards,
DevinAs far as I know that field effects all instances of the button. It does on my dev server running Enfold at least. Tested it on my woo-test live dev site as well with the same effect.
If it isn’t working you would need to post in the WooCommerce support forums as that isn’t something the theme modifies.

Make sure to also update to Enfold 2.6.4 which was released today :)
April 17, 2014 at 1:33 am in reply to: The Content Elements Visual Editing have white text and no editing options! #252371Hey Advancingmemory!
Make sure you are running Enfold version 2.6.4 which was just released today. Also deactivate all active plugins and clear your browser cache if you are using WordPress 3.9 since not all plugins have been updated to work with the new WordPress version yet.
Best regards,
DevinYou can see a full list of all the filters here: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/hooks/ .
Before digging too deep, make sure to take note that WooCommerce allows you to set custom text for the buttons on all external products individually from the general tab when editing a product.
Hi Richard Olpin!
Thank you! I didn’t even realize and I don’t think Kriesi did either!
Cheers!
DevinHey!
The bug fix is live on the ThemeForest servers now. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

DevinApril 17, 2014 at 1:22 am in reply to: custom css with child theme. Settings still changes after update. #252364Hi David!
When you update the parent theme you only need to update your child theme if one of the files you are replacing gets updated. So as long as you are using style.css in the child to hold your CSS then it wont get written over when you update the Enfold parent theme files.
Cheers!
DevinHi!
There was a bug fix release today which you will need to download and install. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Make sure that if you are using WordPress 3.9 you deactivate all plugins to make sure there isn’t a conflict there (since not everything is compatible with 3.9 yet) and that you fully clear your browser cache to use all the new editor styles.
Cheers!

You’ll need to update to the bug fix that was just released. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

DevinHi tetsukage!
That option isn’t available as part of the built in grid so you would need to have a freelance developer customize the grid and all instances of the responsive system for you.
Cheers!
DevinApril 17, 2014 at 1:17 am in reply to: Woocommerce shortcodes don't work after WordPress update #252357Hi neuralspur!
What version of the theme, WordPress and WooCommerce are you using? When exactly did that happen?
This is the first I’ve heard of that happening and in general shortcodes shouldn’t be touched by WordPress.
Best regards,
DevinHi matthewtaylor99!
Follow along with this guide for installing as it sounds like you aren’t unzipping the full package before uploading: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
Cheers!
