Hey!
Those are not added in fully yet and will not be until 2.7 (coming out today/tomorrow). So its possible to get them to appear but they aren’t quite “there” yet.
Regards,
DevinYep, that should do it. I’ve found that I sometimes need to tweak settings after importing from the parent so keep a second window open with the previous general styling tab open (since the page doesn’t auto refresh when you switch themes).
Edit: since you are switching themes you still need to change your menu, and set any theme specific WordPress options again.

April 21, 2014 at 6:07 pm in reply to: Is the Child Theme already included with Enfold as of 04/21/14? #253957Hey Marc!
Download the full package from ThemeForest that comes with the PSD, License etc and there is a child theme included there. You can also create your own or download a simple version here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/
Best regards,
DevinHey!
Just going to post that :)
They were included as an accident since they are coming with 2.7 but the options aren’t yet fully in place.
Best regards,
DevinHey glozemedia!
They are not actually in place yet. They will be in version 2.7 which is coming out this week.

DevinHi Swarez!
Yes, there is most likely meta data being kept with each Portfolio item that would need to be deleted. I’ve never used the plugin but Portfolio items don’t really work as posts since Posts don’t have support for the Avia Layout Builder.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
Dynamic heights in web development is a tricky topic but its also not something that theme support covers since its content customization specific to your individual setup.
Best regards,
DevinHi Ad-Min747!
The theme doesn’t modify the media library as far as I know so it shouldn’t be causing any issues for you. You can try switching to a different theme and see if the issue is there still to check if its a theme specific issue.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
Checking the site on a native up to date version IE8 I’m not getting any header blank issues on my end.
@oliviad – I’m also not getting any blank fullscreen slider but make sure you are using the most recent version of WordPress and the theme (2.6.4 right now).Cheers!
DevinHey!
Excerpts in WordPress do not support shortcodes so you need to enable it on that specific selection as Ismael indicated above and as you mentioned you had working. You’ll need to go back and re-enable them on that file each time you update the theme.
Cheers!
DevinThe buttons are working as intended but there is some hidden limitations you are running into. The large buttons have a minimum width of 127px so when the 1/5 column shrinks down the buttons inside are too big for the container and overlap.
Without the minimum width they would get too small and wrap but you can play with the values if you want:
.avia-button.avia-size-large { padding: 15px 30px 13px; font-size: 13px; min-width: 127px; }
Hi!
The border is correct but its showing as a light color based on the styling options. So the above is the correct way to change it. individually.
Cheers!
DevinHi silviouk!
While it is possible it isn’t something we can assist with via support. You would need to have a freelance developer make the customization for you so that it is integrated correctly without causing any issues.

DevinHi sky19er!
Any function that starts out with
if(!function_exists
can be replace in your child theme by declaring the same function without the check to see if it already exists.Cheers!
DevinThe custom class field is for the class selector. It adds that selector to the element on the front end. You then add the rule for that class to your Quick CSS.
As I mentioned before the fullscreen elements must crop images in order to work and trying to force it into any other configuration is a difficult and unsupported route.
Hey!
Can you elaborate a bit on what exactly isn’t working for you, show an example via screenshot or screenr.com video? With 20k versions of the theme out there its hard to identify an issue as being a theme issue if its reported to us either by a single user or a few users.
The more information we have the better but simply saying it *must* be a theme issue because it isn’t working for you alone is not going to give us any information that might help.
Best regards,
DevinThis is how the demo import should work and has for most, if not all, users: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/64927356
I can’t really guess why it isn’t working but looking at your login page your WordPress installation has an error to start with. The media supporting the slideshows has also not gotten imported so there could have been a permissions issue when trying to import in the demo data.
I also tried importing in the demo sliders from LayerSlider (the option to the right of Add New) but it seems that LayerSlider isn’t able to import in new sliders with the way your installation is set up.
Hi amsdes!
That isn’t something Enfold has support for or ever will. The shop functionality is part of the WooCommece plugin and the theme only adds support for that plugin.
See: http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/
Best regards,
DevinHi aribann!
Nothing within the theme has changed. Just make sure you add in the full code snippet that analytic’s provides you. You can alternative use a plugin or add the code snippet in manually.
Regards,
DevinTo a live page where the issue is happening is what I meant. There was a fix in 2.6.2 I think it was for re-aligning the social icons and top menu to be center aligned.
Hi AdOnsite!
You could try creating that folder manually so WordPress doesn’t need to. Permissions errors can be odd and if its not happening anywhere else then that should allow you to quickly work around the issue.
Cheers!
DevinYou can try asking Kriesi directly from here: http://kriesi.at/contact
Hi!
When adding functions to your child theme, you would only add those functions you want or need to use. Typically the functions.php in a child theme would start out empty. You then add functions as needed.
Cheers!
DevinHi!
The only thing I can think of looking at the page vs what is live is that the page data got corrupted somehow. The content that is trying to get output isn’t correct vs what is on the page builder. A simple way to fix and or check for that would be to re-build the page from scratch without copying over any of the data through a template or other means.
Best regards,
DevinHey!
Do you have a link where it isn’t working? Maybe we aren’t looking at the same issue in the screenshot.
Best regards,
DevinApril 20, 2014 at 11:02 am in reply to: i want to latest dummy data.xml file or quickinstall.zip file #253561Hey pratikthubmar!
The dummy data that comes with version 2.6.4 is the updated and only dummy data that we have.
Cheers!
DevinHey Marc!
You can get one from the full download that you download on ThemeForest (the one that comes with the PSD folder) or from here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/

DevinApril 19, 2014 at 7:46 pm in reply to: Color section not full width with template (template = page.php copy) #253516Hey!
When using the ALB and any of the full width elements it no longer uses the page.php template. It uses the template-builder.php file instead which has custom support for opening and closing the divs correctly.
Edit: Just saw your edit when doing my re-read of the question :)

Devin.
I would suggest just uploading the entire theme folder at once. Any files that have been changed will be written over and there is no risk of an error happening while a file is unable to be accessed.
Hey philippe2812!
The search issue is something we are working on already actually :)
For the fonts, you can see all google fonts from the Google Font site here: https://www.google.com/fonts
Cheers!
