I know Kriesi was working on that but I’m not sure if its been included in the bug fix that just got pushed out this week or not. With just the anchor it doesn’t work for going from a completely different page and with the full url plus the anchor it highlights all links on the same page and the intended fix is to make so that it has contextual highlighting.
If it doesn’t right now, it will in probably the next feature release.
December 19, 2013 at 9:05 pm in reply to: toggle with sorting enabled not working in the 2.4.3 #202249Yes, its just a good migration tool I wanted to recommend in the docs so that users would have a good option.
Make sure you are using the updated theme version from this week. If you are already using 2.4.3 or 2.5 then no not at the moment but I’ll add it the feature request inclusion in a future update.
Hi dsauce!
Anything that fits your needs will do the trick. If you want more in depth mail control or services I would suggest looking into Mailchimp which can provide a html snippet you can add into a text widget that will pull the data into the mailchimp account.
Regards,
DevinHey!
I’m not sure what the root cause is but it could be that you need to clear the minify settings/data and then re-save your theme styling options then re-do the minification.
Make sure to test in IE for each step to see if there is a specific step where it gets triggered. Also try changing the css Ismael provided to:
.header_color .main_menu ul, .header_color .header_bg { background: #fff; }

DevinDecember 19, 2013 at 8:07 pm in reply to: Logo is not responsive – Right hand gets cropped as the browser window narrows #202211Hey!
Because you are using an image size that is larger than the default supported size (explained in the text next to where you upload and set the logo in the theme options) it needs a bit of extra css.
Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:
.responsive .logo img { width: 100% !important; }
That may do the trick without anything else but I’ve not tested it cross browser or with past versions of anything.
Cheers!
DevinThe theme has support for WooCommerce yes but you would activate it in the same way you would any other plugin. The theme just has support for the plugin but it isn’t really a part of the theme.
If you are looking for a quick walkthrough of just working with WooCommerce see: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/quick-start-with-woocommerce/
But any specific multisite setup I don’t have experience with.
Hi asteratos!
Yes, definitely would be. The advanced layout builder would be largely ignored for the majority of the site since it loses effectiveness unless you are writing your own shortcode/elements to tie into outside plugins (like what is done for WooCommerce).
Everything else however would be just like any other theme. I have a full width template here you can use if you need to create pages for any plugins: https://gist.github.com/DevinVinson/7540477
And aside from that you can find freelancers to hire at Microlancer, Codeable and here: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
Best regards,
DevinHey!
It definitely shouldn’t be happening as the update script being used is from Envato directly and is what most if not all of the themeforest themes use now (since it uses your Envato API for purchase verification).
If you do update again next time try deactivating all active plugins before and see if that helps.

DevinDecember 19, 2013 at 10:25 am in reply to: Prevent Unused Thumbmail Creation / Delete Thumbnails #201959Hey!
Yes, there are a number of areas that use the thumbnails generated so that visitors get a faster and better response when viewing the site. If you really don’t want them created you can try deleting them from the functions.php but I really can’t say what effect this will have on the front end of the site since not all image output has css constraints though the majority does.
You’ll be looking for:
$avia_config['imgSize']['widget'] = array('width'=>36, 'height'=>36);
etc.Cheers!
DevinHi ecdave!
Can we take a look at the installation live? You can create a temporary admin account and then post the details here as a private reply by clicking the checbox under the reply for “Set as private reply”.

DevinHey 500Webmaster!
Yes, from your Appearance>Menus manager to to the top right of the screen and open Screen Options. Find the checkbox for “Link Target” and check it. Now you’ll have the option to choose the way links open via a dropdown on each menu item.
Cheers!
DevinHey!
Refresh your browser a few times. The css is live and working but your local cache has likely just not refreshed right away.
Best regards,
DevinHi!
I just logged in and tried out creating a new page and then previewing it and had no issues. This was in Chrome on a Windows machine.

DevinHey David!
MU/WooCommerce specific questions should be directed towards their respective support forums. We aren’t able to offer support outside Kriesi’s themes.

DevinDecember 19, 2013 at 9:06 am in reply to: Anchors to a single page navigation without the color section component #201936Hi ericjanin1!
When you add a color section you can choose no padding for its spacing. Otherwise you can just add a regular html anchor to any text element inside the text tab for that element: http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/1995-archive/Elements/A.html
Cheers!
DevinHi Mejdi!
That element isn’t really set up to be multiple times on the same page. You should be able to use the Fullwidth easy slider to get the same appearance but it will properly output with multiple ID’s.

DevinHi Webtechyartist!
It looks like you may have been installing multiple versions of enfold for each update (enfold-5) . I’m not sure what conflict this might have caused to bring about the error but it should be fixable by re-installing the most recent update over FTP and replacing that theme folder.
Just make sure to re-name the theme folder to enfold-5 if that is the current “live” version you are using so that all the theme options are kept in place.
For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: htps://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750

DevinIn your theme files go to config-templatebuilder>avia-shortcodes and replace the slideshow_fullscreen.php contents with this file:
http://pastebin.com/QAXEQK1WThe specific change is on line 93 for the Image Position array. The “required” should be:
"required" => array('id','not',''),
Hey!
You can always roll back your theme to the previous version but the changes to the fullscreen slider are in preparation for a couple of big new features and I believe also to fix issues that could arise from any other type of positioning.Edit: Re-looking through git notes and it wasn’t actually removed. Will re-upadate shortly.
Regards,
Devin

Hey!
I’ve re-tagged the topic for Peter to see if he has any insight but customization like this is covered in the scope of support here. We will often go beyond support as time allows but we are not a customization service for themes. There are a couple of really great avenues to go for hiring someone to customize themes for you when you get to a hurdle like this including Microlancer, Codeable or even through the form here: http://kriesi.at/contact/customization
Best regards,
DevinHey chartreader!
The font is ‘Open Sans’.
Best regards,
DevinPlease read the link carefully. That is directions for adding your own icon for whatever you want to the array that gets shown in the theme admin.
The post you linked to is no longer needed since you can upload your own fonts right from the theme admin. I’ve deleted it to prevent any confusion.
Hey der_mueller!
No, unfortunately it isn’t without custom css for the section.
Regards,
DevinBoth sites are showing the same yslow grade for me and only slightly better loading results. If you’ve visited the older one more often than the other it could also have more locally cached content which would make it appear to load faster as well.
As @fomrateins mentioned the response time from the server is where the main hold up is on loading in the page.
Hi Alex!
Unfortunately without a caching plugin installed you are the mercy of your hosting provider and how fast the server will respond with the data. For most budget servers you will be on a shared hosting account where your site is sharing the resouces of all others at the same time. So the response time from server to user can be variable.
In your case I did a quick check using this site: http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/web-sites-on-web-server/ which turned up 841 other domains on the same server. I’ve not checked into its validity in a while but there are a few other similar sites/tools out there you can cross check on.

DevinDecember 18, 2013 at 9:13 am in reply to: toggle with sorting enabled not working in the 2.4.3 #201435Hey!
You would need to migrate the database in that case. See: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/move-from-a-local-installation-to-a-live-server/
Cheers!
DevinDecember 18, 2013 at 9:09 am in reply to: Sortable portfolio titles have disappeared above grid #201430Hey webWahine!
Please update your theme to the update that was released this past day. That should fix it for you. For a quick guide on updating your theme take a look at this video on updating the Enfold theme via FTP: https://vimeo.com/channels/aviathemes/67209750
Cheers!
DevinDecember 18, 2013 at 9:06 am in reply to: Does the new Enfold update need a new child theme installed #201424Hi mhiller!
Not unless you’ve added in those files that were updated to your child theme. For example, if you have a header.php file in your child theme to replace the parent then you should check the change log to see if that file was changed and you need to update your child theme file.
